Amara Sanctuary Sentosa Reviews

The resort is good but service could be better. British style buildings have been well preserved amidst natural greenery. The property is definitely very unique.

Try to get an upgrade to a room with balcony on the ground floor. You can even open the balcony doors to sleep. So breezy and serene. Worth having a romantic staycation here!

Attended a lovely wedding dinner at this hotel. Food was great and environment very pleasant.

Was at Amara Sanctuary to attend a wedding. Very nice hotel, situated in a quiet corner of Sentosa. May be a little difficult to get to if you don't drive, but I believe they offer regular shuttle buses to HarbourFront.

It's OK. Conveniently situated on Sentosa Islands close to most of the major tourist attractions. Amara Sanctuary is ideal for anyone who only plans on showering and sleeping in the room. An iron with a steam function would be great. The mini bar can also do with......anything really. No one likes an empty mini bar.

Was ok... Mucked around a bit... Staff are incredible especially Wilfred, Leo and I believe the senior duty manager Ryan.. Pleasure

Stayed for 3 nights, Staff are good, big thumbs up.
Rooms are tired and in need of urgent refurbishment, air-conditioning was patchy and we had to switch room on the last night because it's too hot.
Breakfast was adequate, no complaints, no plus points, just adequate.
Swimming pool at level 4 had a great view but also in need of urgent upkeep.
Location of hotel is great, short walk to beach, monorail and universal studios.

I would replace "luxury" with "economical".

Location is secluded but convenient. Room I feel is a bit dirty with stains around the bed sheet and bathroom

Do not feel it is good value for the price paid - 2 villas with pool.

Poor customer service. Did not explain specific details to the customer. For example the timing of pool. Even they did not put a sign to show that to lower down the volume. I even don't want to give one star

Room is beautiful but quite spaced out from one another. Little weather protection under rain when getting from lobby to room.

Among Sentosa resorts, I was satisfied in many ways because it was a reasonable price (?). I like the deluxe sea view.

A nice get away for couple over the week end. Individual villas are with private spa pool and this allow a private world of its own

Stayed in the couple suite with direct pool access, nice and comfortable room. Love the greenery by the pool. Perfect getaway!

They have very nice rooms, with very good service staffs.

Been here for a staycation, booked a couple suite with direct access to the pool. Rooms were quite old, had a free cake but no knife or utensils were given. Service was sop and decent. Breakfast was pretty nice, they had a good spread of different varieties. The only unique experience was that the pool was directly accessible from the hotel room. Overall decent experience, but won't return.

Sentosa does not allow motorbikes in and the phone operator say it's allowed to enter. Causing me to make a wasted trip. Educate your staff before allowing them to work. If they don't know, say dont know/not sure. Very poor service. Admitance of you not knowing is better than just say yes. I really doubt their service ethics. Be very cautious of them. Paying so much money for inconvinence is one thing. Providing such mediocre service for that price, think about it.

Went over to check out the ballroom as a possible wedding venue. Decent place.

The place able to rejuvenate the spirit from the tired workplace. Able to mock a forest environment is one of the main strong point to get here.

FYI, They served a breakfast with non-halal certification. For Muslim guest, better choose without breakfast package.

Just around 250m to USS. A proper pathway during walking is there. Shuttle bus is provided and very convenient if you plan properly with their timing

The suite was very spacious. Service was very good.

Room is beautiful . With an outdoor bath tub. The back door opens up to a 'private' lap pool and jacuzzi shared with other guests along the same stretch. Fridge is well-stocked with coke, orange juice and tiger beer. It's a nice surprise to see peacocks strolling casually on the side walks and garden.

I was there for an event. Ballroom setup was good. Food served and its banquet service were good as well.

I attended a wedding dinner here. There's a shuttle bus from Harbourfront MRT, and while space is limited on each minibus, an additional bus was sent so we wouldn't have to wait too long. The place feels special at night, and that's worth the extra travel time. The food was among the best I've had for wedding dinners, and the service was excellent too (though they seemed to have a heavier load and longer wait times towards the end of the dinner). Also, the slightly reclinable seats are the most comfortable hotel dining chairs I've had ever.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Efficient staff upon request. Environment is serene and beautiful. Suitable for couples and families.

The swimming pool was gorgeous and the rooms were quaint. Very suitable for couples to visit

Was there as a non-overnight guest. Villas are smaller than expected, but service quality is fine.

Location was a little confusing, took the shuttle bus service from harbourfront pick up point. The bus slighted outside deloitte University. Apparently it was the same place as amara sanctuary resort. Attended a wedding lunch, food was good, service could be improved, the top of up drinks (tea/soft drinks) during lunch service was not spontaneous, many times we had to call for a top up of the drinks instead.
