The front desk staff acted like that didn't want to be there, but the worst thing is the air mattress beds,HORRIBLE! I got a different hotel the next day.

We were a group of 4 people and they did not let us checkin because we were 2 hours late. Looks like they can still have your money if you are 2 hours late. Absolutely illogical and unexplainable. They allocated our room to someone else and nobody seemed to know anything . The front desk staff said that manager will be in by 9am the following day and we can talk to him then. Finally we ended up booking a room someplace else. Seems like a money making scheme to me. Stay away from this place.
Run away these people are scammers. Nothing like what it is picture online. Don't waste your money!!! Just don't!!!
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of many food and entertainment options and a few minutes drive from theme parks. The room was spacious and clean. The term Continental breakfast is a bit generous for some juice and plain sliced white bread toast.
I use the hotel to bathe and sleep only the only little uncomfortable are some small cockroaches but for what I pay for the hotels I do not care and when you close your eyes you do not see them
I must say I was extremely disappointed. The pool was closed, we had to ask the front desk to send the cleaning crew to our room. The restaurant food was horrible and gave me a stomach virus. The only positive was the front desk staff.
Stayed here for the HeliExpo 2015, And everything was as it should be... it was a good Price/performance hotel... Just the breakfast is not enough i think...
A/c was not working, beds felt like sleeping on a wood panel. Don t feel like staying again here.
I will never reserve a room here again! The room looks nothing like what's on the site.Upon arrival the front staff was very professional and nice. Once entering the room I noticed the drapes around the window could have at least been steamed ironed. No
towels in the bathroom and once I called operator she acted as if i should come back to the front and get them! (really) an hour later still no towles. Eventually i had to get in my car and DRIVE to the office along with a lilttle spat with the acting manager just for a few
bath towels. Once back in my room there's a knock at the door some guy with a hoodie not a uniform that would let me know you worked for the hotel (nothing against hoddies) drops towels off. My overall stay was not pleasing at all for this to had been a RESORT.
Very old rooms with little maintenance, especially in the bathroom.
Because the bed made noise and the remote didnt work and the ac dint work either we was hot all night and the pool had bugs and there was bugs on the food too
I have never left a bad review......until now! Booked a room via their website which stated microwave, fridge, safe and complimentary breakfast arrived at the 'Hotel' to be told we have just been bought out so there are no microwaves or safe keys oh and we dont have a restaurant so theres no breakfast either! Hot tub filled in with stone, decking around pool unsafe and pool dirty. Over priced shop in the lobby run by a man who clearly does not want to be there. Good points - free wifi!
Missing a lot. Not the cleanest, staff questionable.
I would honestly have given three stars, but the bed was the stiffest, most uncomfortable one I have ever slept on in my life. Think a sheet of plywood on a box spring with sheets and a blanket. They charged me $91 a night for the worst sleep of my life. Never again.
Please be aware when booking the hotel IS CLOSED! I made reservations in march to stay this weekend June 11th to June 14th. I arrived at the hotel to be told "we're closed go across the street to the other hotel." I never recieved a cancellation notice and they're STILL accepting reservations online even though it is closed for repair. Please Please don't book here you will be greatly disappointed and with nowhere to stay.
Reception staff were not responsive, laundry was frequently closed, cockroaches in the room, elevator broken almost every day, and moreover we arrived at the hotel after 11 o'clock as we were going to the parks and Outlets and because of the thin walls they often complained of conversations.
I do not say and I will not come back.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!
Rooms with carpet and musty smell (bad for allergy sufferers), with problems in the air-conditioning, telephone and elevators.
Occurrence police during the period of stay, external gym, limited parking and receptionists who are not willing to help in NOTHING.
The only plus point is the location.

I Am Leaving Here And Never Coming Back To This Roach Infested Disgusting Motel They Call A Resort .Staff Attitudes Are Disgusting Rude And They Are Very Unhelpful .I Read The Reviews And Decided To Give It A Try Never Again ! I learned My Lesson and To All Who Is Reading This take The Reviews Seriously And Dont Come To this Place!!! If I Could Give This 0 Stars I Swear I would !
This hotel was absolutely horrible , the beds feels like you're laying on cement, the hot water doesn't stay hot, the a/c makes you feel muggy. My bed had some type of clear tube hanging from the bed, and oh my gosh their house keepers are rude don't speak English (smh) and the freaking elevators don't work so we had to work up stairs to the 4th floor and the ice machines were also broke . The pictures will definitely fool you next time I will start reading the reviews more often. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to no one. Really deserve no stars
Nice clean rooms.forgot some of our items in hotel room .they found it and kept for us .very honest
This is a fraudulent ad online.the pictures are from 2010, the hotel is horrible. It is not clean at all, it smells so bad. The carpets are nasty.
This is a really worst hotel in my life.
Please dont book it. Or you will lose $50/night
This hotel will refuse service to you if you are a local, they have a list of counties that are banned. This policy is not posted to their website and travel companies are not aware that this is policy at Allure/Orlando Metropolitan Resort. No exceptions, even if you pay ahead, even if you're disabled.
Rooms were fine but the beds are hard and the controllers for both beds would not work. The elevator is a joke. There was only one working during our stay and people were in such a hurry to get on they would practically crawl over you to beat you to it. The arcade was gross and the whole room smelled like urine and mildew.
This hotel would of got a 5 star, but I am giving it 4 because it says free breakfast on the website but all you get is toast and these danish roles. So if you are expecting eggs, bacon, sausage, or even cerial you get that at the restaurant attached to the hotel. This was still a decent hotel for the price for a spring break getaway.
The hotel is not as it is described:
No flat TV: very old box TV, you barely can see the screen
Old furniture and itchy pillows and old towels.
very dirty carpet, color changed from red to green from dust and dirt.
the complementary of the bath tools and coffee table are low quality.
I got robbed the cleaning crew are aloud to carry purses to work and I had lots of missing expensive items missing and can't reach the owner no one can be contacted about my things being missing. The new owner don't return call and staff will send you to voicemail this been for a good year now and no one cares to even return calls about the problem the hotel have.
Nothing!. The air conditioning was not working in building 2 and they would not change our room. One of the two elevators was out of service making our wait in excess of 20 minutes to get the one functioning elevator. There were never towels at the pool area. The room smelled musty and our room was not cleaned until after 4 pm. No one ever picked up the phone when calling the front desk. Unfriendly staff. There are to many complaints to mention. Im being generous rating this place one star. All the guests were complaining. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY AT THE ALLURE!!! Horrible experience.
It was really nice. The pull out couch bed was awful though.
Everything was really nice, but the beds were hard as rocks.
Rooms are good. The breakfast they serve is a shame!
I must have been really lucky given the last few reviews. I really needed a couple of relaxing days and there were some great deals on the Allure Resort. I figured the location was hard to beat as far as great bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Yes, the hotel is dated. But our room was spotless, the a/c worked, the shower was hot and I found the receptionists to be friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I was coming back to Orlando on a budget.
When you go on line they mislead you. Once you arrive totally different
Stayed there last week for a convention. Worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Coackroaches, bedbugs, rusty equipment in bathroom, A/C not working. Horrible. With all the inventory in Orlando, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
Allure is my favorite place in all of the hotel selections in orlando... we'll was my fav!!! But now you can't stay there unless you have out of state ID.. Total bummer, the hotel staff is fun and super helpful most of the time.. and the rooms are clean and onpoint every time I've stayed...
Worst stay ever, they still have not taken charges off my card . They charged my card wrongly and I told them, they said it would be taken care of and that has not happen. Everything about the motel (NO WERE NEAR A RESORT) WAS BAD FROM STAFF TO ELEVATOR, NEVER AGAIN
Very poor customer service, the intire hotel had no ac
Parking is not great, only 1 elevator working, 4th floor ice machine inoperative, no a/c in lobby, not enough help to check people in, got to room a/c would not cool below 75 degrees, complained to manager, ( tall white guy,) , must of thought I was an ignorant tourist, because he made up a silly name for an air conditioning system part, which doesn't exist, and told me it would begin cooling soon , 2 days later still at 75 degrees, will not be returning.
I had to move my father in law from this hotel. The room itself was not bad looking and the staff is mostly friendly, but this place has a major bug problem, there were loads of roaches all over the room and we immediately had to leave. I would be careful and make sure the staff has thoroughly check the room before you sleep here
Hotel was in an awesome location but needed to be renovated inside.
I was there in October 2014, as a guest I was treated well, unlike the evaluations now explained. It is true that it is not a resort, as it is named, but the rooms are comfortable and the facilities were very useful during my stay there.
Good Morning.
When I made my check I noticed that I left some belongings in the room like slippers, and some jewelry, and when I came back to pick it up I was found and lost, they said I had nothing .. Because I had just left the hotel, and for that reason I no longer stay in it, and I do not tell anyone, I called several times and I waited and I did not have a good return, I do not have a bit of confidence, I hope that this person who has taken needing or at least aware
DON'T DO IT! Awful customer service at check in, "Maria" at the front desk was rude and responded to our questions with eye rolls to her co-worker and an attitude that told us she really hates her job. The carpet in the room was so gross! It should have been replaced 10 years ago. We left our shoes on the entire time we were in there and slept in socks so our bare feet didn't touch the floors. The musty odor in the rooms was overpowering, had to spray deodorant to cover it up. They had the sleep number remote laid out on the bed but it didn't even work. The game room machine was broken and the front desk never sent someone out to fix it. The pool area was dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone nor would we ever return to it.
Resort??? Where??? We were charged a resort fee daily. The fitness center was at the YMCA not the "resort". We had no A/C which we weren't aware of upon check in at 2:00 (too early) and 4:00. TV didn't work which isn't a big deal if you don't have children, sleep number beds didn't work, arcade token machine was broken, restaurant/billiard was closed, pool was very dirty. It took multiple complaints to get the bed working and TV up and running! This was a huge let down for our family get away!
Gave away our reserved, prepaid room. Only had one room available which was no where near comparable to what we paid for. Room is missing safe, almost all menus in hotel guide are very old and list expired prices. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. It isn't super clean but not totally horrible. Pull out bed in couch has no bedding. Pool needs cleaned badly, it has algae growing in some spots. Advertised hot tub is now a rock bed. Parking is really bad especially after 3pm. Also, noticed the inspection certificate in BOTH elevators are expired by 3 months(they get a ton of use) This is our second stay since January and it was bad then but only is getting worse. I would not recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to.
I will not return to this hotel, I thought I was getting a deal on Priceline at 42 a night + taxes = 58. When we arrived at 2pm they said the hotel is overbooked and didn't have a room ready, come back at 4pm. We stopped back at 315 and asked, room was ready, they said there was a $10 fee for the facilities. The room was average older hotel remodeled, carpet feels thin with no matting. Old tube TV. Strong smell like they sprayed too much disinfectant. We went to the pool, November, about 75 out, big pool, cold not heated, the cushions on lounge chairs were worn and could feel the metal supports. The towels were worn and very small 1' X 2' you needed 2-3 to cover chairs or dry off. We used the hot tub which was cool too, maybe 99, and just a couple of jets were working, also bricks were worn and soiled.
Clean room and good parking although reception could have been a little friendlier.
There are a lot of bad reviews for this hotel which worried us but okay it's not great its dated and the housekeeping staff do just barge in at 8.30am in the morning BUT in fairness this hotel is so cheap and great location, the room is massive so go in with low expectations and you can't go wrong - it's a classic case of get what you pay for
After reading all the bad reviews I was feeling bad about booking a room. However I was really pleased with with my stay. Everything was clean, front desk and house keeping made sure we had what we asked for. For what we paid it was a deal. worth every penny
Staff was extremely friendly, very helpful and accommodating. room was very clean. Highly recommend and we will stay here again in our next visit to Disney and Universal Studios. The pool was great! Hotel is very family oriented.
Very good location in Orlando. Good price. Variety and quality of services.
I haven't had the chance to stay and won't be staying at this hotel. I've tried calling for 3 hours straight and they do not pick up the phone and when they do pick up the phone they hang up on me. I was trying to call because I had questions about my reservation since no one answered the phone or my emails I went ahead and cancel my reservation. I can already imagine what kind of service they have at the hotel.
Found 4 live roaches within 5 minutes of entering my room. The rooms are in need of updating. Only one elevator worked, and that eventually stopped. We then had to use the stairs, all the way to the 5th floor. Definitely not 3 stars!!!
Allure resort has potential to be great. If you look at all the reviews half are awful the other half are good/great. There are two buildings that make up this hotel. One is smaller and labeled the Metropolitan Center. That is where I booked my first room. It was kind of gross and the sheets had stains that you could tell they tried to clean with bleach but it didn't really work. I requested to upgrade my room (it was roughly another $30) and they moved me to the taller building which was great and clean. It was way less sketchy on that side. So don't avoid this hotel they have great pricing but for the love of all that is sanitary avoid the smaller Metropolitan building!
It was clean and comfortable. The pool was my absolute favorite place to hang out during the day. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
This hotel seems like it is on the cusp of bankruptcy. There are a lot of little issues that are not being fixed and some more major ones. One in particular is the slow elevator. One elevator is out of commission and the other takes roughly 4 minutes to get to the lobby. Once on the elevator, the 2nd and 3rd floor buttons do not light up. The rooms get soliciting flyers under the door every night. The towels are all different qualities and I even got one that had lots of little stain spots. My room had two Sleep Number beds, but neither of them work so they are stuck in the most firm setting.
On the positive side, the room does have a mini fridge and microwave. The front desk does a pretty good job with customer service as well.
Rooms are good. Breakfast is very bad only toast and very bad danish pastries. Shuttel Service is good. And good service.
Great Place
Clean
Amazing location
This was the worst hotel experience my boyfriend and I had. There was noticeable damage all over the walls in our room, the T.V made a very weird popping sound the entire stay, the bed we had was super uncomfortable. It was a sleep number bed and our remote didn't work so on his side he was sunken in while I was laying on top of a rock. Not to mention the stains we found all over the blankets. While we checked out they charged his card an additional 170$ to which they told us was just a "hold" but they had taken out an additonal 30$ before that charge that they also told was just a "hold". Which by the way we are STILL waiting to be returned. One of the two elevators was out of order, no one could find the stairs, the hotel appears to be undergoing some sort of renovation which they did not feel the need to make us aware of. The staff was not helpful, forcing me to show them my bank account to prove that I was overcharged, and they didn't even give us the room we actually booked! They gave us a two bed when we had booked a one bedroom. Frankly we're embarrassed to tell people we stayed here and will not make that mistake again. The only good thing about this place however was the fact we were able to walk to all the cool bars and places since it was in the middle of I-drive. Would not recommend nor stay here ever again!
If it were not for the reorganization early riser I would think to be in a meeting. Huge rooms yes, but with all the worn furniture.
No hot water, elevator was broken most of the stay and the stairs were locked so it was a long delay to get back to the room. Terrible hotel!!! Don't Waste your money!!!!
worst costumer service ever!!!!!
there is no answer or respect with guest!!!!
All the comforts of home and a direct access to interstate to go to Daytona or Orlando
First of all I booked 1 king room on Tuesday 10/2/17 with supposed to be manager Beverly she quote me 49.00 a night for dates 10/6/17 thru 10/8/17. When i checked my account on the morning of the 6th $207.00 now I would say that is a far cry from $49.00 a night.. So I called and she doesn't remember telling me that , so they charged me 79.00 a night and still hasn't seen any refund on that and then the next day charged my card another 13.53. This is such a money scam and i can not get a hold of the general manager. Then they act like its your fault that they charged me not once but twice and still no refund, my husband has been working to help the people of Orlando and this is how we are treated. The bed was hard and the a/c did not work properly. The elevators had food in them for 2 days and that's nasty, the rooms need to be updated as well but its the worst experience i have ever had with any hotel , they should be listed as a worst and unprofessional service i have ever had
We walked into the room and discovered that the sleep number beds were not working, neither of them. I called down to the front desk and he said he would send someone. We left to eat dinner and went to Universal Studios. We returned to the room about 12:30 and the beds had not been touched. The lights flickered when we flipped the switch and 2 of the 3 lamps in the room didn't work. Upon check out I said something again and was only given a $15 "resort fee" discount!!!
Well the customer service manager was very unprofessional when we approached her with a complaint. Overall the room was to be expected.
Dirty and old looking. Yes its affordable but that's the only good thing.
We stay at Allure for 3 nights and was the 3 longest night of my life . The first room that they give us the ac don't work ,we stay that night and in the morning let them know about the ac when we came back from the park at 10 pm the ac still doesn't work. We complain and they change us to another room. The new room was even worse the ac work just a little bit, the remote of the tv didn't work, the "number bed" was awful(disinflate on the middle of the night) the walls and the carpets was dirty . This is NOT A 3 START RESORT!! Not even the wifi works it's sooo slow. They didn't have enough front desk personal only one women with a full hotel. We are not coming back again to this hotel!!!
Very Unfriendly staff. Beds are old and noisy, comforter stained and when my daughter wakes up in the morning she has 4 bug bites. Went to the lobby in the morning to get some coffee and there is a loud beeping noises. we didn't even enjoy our coffee went back to the room and checked out! Never again I will stay at Allure!!!
I travel alot and have stayed from motels up to 5 star....i heard poor reviews on this place..but haven't had a bad experience...rooms are clean, huge and comfortable..pool was clean..location is great..prices are wonderful...i would recommend this place for sure....yes, some cosmetic improvements are needed...but remeber, experience is always the best review.
My husbands football team stood here and on our first day checking in 4 outta 5 rooms had bed bugs. The manager was very rude and disrespectful and said that no matter if we took pictures that meant nothing to her . We and four other people have pictures of the bed bugs in the drawers, bed, etc. they did not reimburse us immediately.
This was the worst dirtiest most scariest DUMP I have ever been to. The Allure is full of street people who stay by the elevator asking you want to buy drugs from them and my room was disgusting. They changed my room to another disgusting one. I checked out but they refused to give me a full reimbursement. Do yourself a favor and listen to these horrible reviews, I wish I did.
First time staying at the Allure Resort. When I checked in was not greeted with a smile or welcome to Allure Resort or how can I help you. Was greeted with a blake stare and then I just walked up to her . Not very unwelcoming. The room was big and clean. But I should of expected that by the reviews I read but I gave it a shot about the customer service . Then when I checked out the lady was worse. I said iam here to check out what's your last name with an attitude and when she handed my receipt to me not even have a nice day. Then I said have a nice day she just gave me a dumb look. You need a bring improvement on customer service. Tried to call back to talk to the supervisor and they just let the phone ring until it hung up. Don't know if I will stay here again because of the bad customer service.
3 stars because of the location and the fact there is a microwave in the room. The room was spacious, clean , and included a microwave and mini fridge. (Thats about as good as it gets. The pictures are way more beautiful than the property.)
CONS: There is a designated area for smoking but throughout our walk thru of the property there is staff standing around smoking- kind of irritating considering the fact we had to walk through them
-Could not locate the bar and grill that was advertised even agter asking and following the signs
The hotel is under much needed renovation so maybe that had something to do with it.
- Looks like the hotel is combined and shares a pool with the Rodeway inn. There was no difference in luxury (next time we plan to check out the Rodeway Inn to see the difference in prices)
-There was nothing "Resort" about it so I dont understamd the point of a resort fee.
-The DND sign was fabricated to be inserted into the lock but since the key cards have like a touch sensor, we kept putting it on the door but by the time we left they were on the floor(all of the ones on our floor)
All in all I mean we just needed somewhere to sleep after driving from the Florida State game in tallahassee so it wasnt like we were planning on enjoying hotel amenities daily. If you just need somewhere to sleep and shower then i reccomend. If you are looking for a hotel that has amenities to enjoy on a down day- not recommended. We would not stay again.
