Absolutely awful rooms and service. The beds feel like a 2" mattress topper was placed directly on the floor. Elevators weren't working. Bathtub was finicky to get working. Definitely not worth the price. Take your money elsewhere.

The Allure resort is a reasonably priced, well situated, venerable resort with a friendly staff, good rates and availability, and a nostalgic feel. The resort is undergoing a makeover but I enjoy the throwback feel and ambience it gives off. The fountain adjacent to the front desk check in area has a very nostalgic look and feel about it. My room was very large, meticulously clean, and well appointed, including a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The extra large 50 inch television was a nice surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again not would I hesitate to recommend a stay to anyone.
The room was ok the pool was absolutely Gross and had chunks of who knows what and the fire alarm went off for "testing" without any warning whatsoever. Overall I absolutely disliked it here.
Place was disgusting and employees where rude !!! Seem like they double booked our room and someone else was trying to come in at 1:30 am. Also itching from the bed doesn't seem like they do proper cleaning. A.c. was broken and filter on the a.c. seems like hasn't been clean in a while. Checked in at 7:30 pm and checked out at 3:00 am STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE !!!
Con: However, the bed was broken and when I alerted staff, they acted really nonchalant as if this happens often. One of my towels was dirty (dried up boogers or something on it). My sheet was dirty as well. This hotel was recommended by Hotwire and according to their rating, it was 3.5 stars. I highly disagree with that rating. Not recommending this hotel to friends nor family.
Stay was good for the money, room is a little outdated but was clean and spacious. Bathroom was quite large compared to other hotels. We had the deluxe corner, wasnt actually in the corner of the building but did have corners inside the room so maybe that is what they meant by corner room..... overall was pleasent, we didn't use any of the amenities but the pool looked ok, nothing special here just good solid accommodation. Person at reception was also very nice and greeted us with a nice smile.
No stars. No hot water, mildew smell in the rooms, under construction, dirty pool. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. No manager on duty, sold out even if you pay reservation in advance. DO NOT RESERVE. NO AS ADVERTISED.
What a joke. Outside of the lobby the place is a dump. Do yourself a favor. Pay cash, they over charge your credit card. Better yet, stay someplace else. Elevator made a frightening noise, staircase smelled like a toilet. Continental breakfast was toast & coffee.
The Hotel itself is not as bad as others state it is....maybe they paid more than i did and expected more. The internet is really really slow. Cleaning crew forgets to provide clean towels.
My bf and I stayed here one night and would not go back. First of all, room service woke us up by knocking on our door at 8:30am asking if we were leaving. Then we couldn t go back to sleep because there was too much commotion in the hallways from the cleaning crew.
So we decided to get up and take showers, but we were only given 2 and they were still damp from ours showers the night before. We called the front desk and asked them to send us a couple more. We waited for 2 hours for the towels, during which time, 2 more housekeepers stopped by our room asking if we were leaving yet, AND I made a trip up to the front desk to ask again for the towels (the phone rang and rang when I tried to call).
When we checked out, I asked for a discount for our troubles, and they refunded the $15 resort fee, but said I d have to call the general manager on Monday if I wanted more discounted. There was not even a manager on duty! Terrible customer service..
The first good impression with a very large room and bathroom falls after the terrible attention where they leave you without a towel when returning from the parks. The questions to the staff fell into nothingness as they never knew anything. Zero will for the Spanish language despite being in a place full of Latinos. Only once was I with a person to be exerted.
Staff is not very helpful & they do not like to be accommodating. They gave our room to another guest on first night and then gave us a key card that opened the door, so we awkwardly walked in on the other guest. They would only give us two sets of towels for a group of 6 everyday. One side of the beds was like sleeping in a hole. The continental breakfast was just slices of bread and pastries with beverage. The guest laundry was not in working order on either of the two floors. The front desk at night was crowded with guests with key cards that did not work to allow access to their rooms. One customer paid for room online through epedia and card was charged, but hotel said they did not pay. Our room was clean at least......
We are currently staying here now but never again. The elevators are broken and the front desk said we can use the service elevators!! First of all exactly where is that located?? Lies... we have to walk down stairs and obviously at checkout we will be carrying our luggage down stairs as well. The couch has no legs and is sitting on bricks.. what kind of mess is that? To top it off I asked if they had numbers for taxi service up there and she said no ma am we don t... excuse me you are supposed to have access to things like that for your customers. They should be crediting us for this ridiculous stay!!! I m very disappointed and will never come here again!!
Our stay at The Allure Resort was great. We had recently stayed at another resort on International Drive & it was a mediocre experience, so we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the bathroom (huge) and the TV (50"). We were given floor choice and we elected to stay on the 7th floor. We had a great view from there. It is located right across from the Icon (formerly the Orlando Eye) and near a lot of great dining establishments. There is a restaurant & bar onsite, but it didn't seem to be staffed while we were there. The one problem we experienced was that one of the two elevators was down for maintenance.
This hotel was not as luxurious as it was described to us when we booked it. The beds was hard and the sleep number did not work. The water in the tub did not drain while showering so I was up to my feet in water while showering. The indoor pool is a old YMCA building out back. Not worth my money. I was referred by room101 and rhe sales person lied about the quality of the hotel also the 100 dinner bucks was a coupon you had to spend a certain amount to use. This was a nightmare. I will stick to the Hampton inn I know and love along with Holliday inn express. hated this place
This place does not have a warm welcome. The staffs at the front desk were unfriendly and a bit grumpy looking. The room is big but pretty run down. It definitely need up to update. I feel like from the carpet, sheets, bathroom and etc need to be replace. The location is good. All kind of restaurants and businesses is in the surrounding area.
Do not book a room here. The front desk staff are rude, the first few days were ok because we were at the parks all day and at the motel late. But once we started spending a whole day in the motel is when everything turned... First of all the housekeeping half way cleaned the rooms. Under our bed was jelly beans from not telling when, they did not empty the trash in the room just left it in the cans. Then I was going to get a drink from the fridge and a roach ran across the door.. The fire alarm was set off by amid in the hall. Which I call thit front desk to tell them, and their response was ohhhh ok let me see what is going on.. They were clueless of it, had it been an actuall fire would they have known? Who knows. And the phone lines had been down all day you could not call out of th motel. When asked when they would be fixed, they replied with someone's working on it, but we are not sure when they will be fixed. So having three kids we book another motel and went to it. I tried to call their front desk from 10 that evening till after 10 that night nothing but busy signals. Finally got through about 10:30 told the lady what was going on. Her response was you'll have to talk to management in the morning. I told her I had tried to call all this morning and she hung up on me. Called the following morning and talked to a supervisor and she asked if we let them know we had checked out. I informed her their phones had been busy and I didn't fell saf leaving my 3 kids in the car by theirself to come to the front desk to tell them I was leaving, but I had tri d to call. And her night employee hung up on me.. No apologize nothing just oh well we can refund u tonight and that's all I can do for you... Supper rude...please take my advice and book somewhere else....
I disagree with the other ratings. I stayed at the Allure it was very clean, excellent service. We really like The gym and The indoor pool. The restaurant was closed for remodeling but that was ok with me they serve Starbucks and all great restaurants very close by.
The beds were very hard and the sheets had stains on them. Elevators could use a little updating seeing as it seemed like they hardly wanted to work. Shower had hardly any water pressure. And to top it off they have bed bugs.
Stayed Saturday, Sunday and left Monday morning. It's a clean nice motel. Sunday morning around 9 am the fire alarm went off. The staff says it was a false alarm. Then around 1 am Monday morning the fire alarm went off again I went out side and other customers were going out to. It was another false alarm. Then around 4 and 8 am it went off again so we really didn't get a good night sleep. Called for rags twice and never received them. Ask for some type of compensation and they said it was nothing they can do so I recommend no one goes to this motel. Bad customer service!!
So this hotel looks amazing online but in reality it is an overpriced motel. So we arrive and the front desk was not friendly at all, the attendant helping us couldn't pull up our reservation because they kept spelling the name wrong. Then another attendant stepped in and they were just plain rude. Once we get into the room and the air conditioner is not working. We call the front desk and they say they will send someone and of course no one comes. We even asked for a fan or something and they basically just told us to screw off. Then I go to use the shower and the water is just cold, no hot water at all. The rooms were dirty as well and they only give you two towels and if you need more, too bad. So my suggestion would be to just fork out the extra $20-$40 dollars and stay somewhere else. This hotel sucks and is by no means a "resort."
Room was nice, big, and clean. Public areas were a little dingy, the pools were not impressive, and the air in the hallway outside my room was loud and distracting even when in my room. Overall fine and would stay again if just looking to stay the night.
Room has a strange smell. Sleep number must have been the first model as it was like sleeping on a cheap air mattress. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked. Overall a bad experience
Looks clean and nice but unprofessional staff. Uncomfortable beds, hard mattress, and cheap pillows. Big bathroom but a very small bath with a curtain that just covers the center. Sink got clogged and the coffeemaker never worked. Standard room temperature, I couldn't lower the thermostat. The pool area wasn't pleasant either. Hotel seems to be going downhill
I read many negative reviews before coming, and I tell them, come quiet the place is excellent, they have parking the rooms are huge, comfortable everything was excellent .. And the location is the best away ... everything clean, excellent ...
I found blood on the sheets and when I tried to call the front desk from the room phone it didn't work. I walked down to the front desk to report my issue and was hit with a bad attitude from the lady at the desk. When housekeeping showed up to the room they only replaced the sheet that had the blood on it instead of the complete bedding. I wasn't offered any compensation. I was told that I could just find somewhere else to stay! Not a good experience at all
This is one of the hotels that give I-Drive a reputation of dirty hotels. Place is outdated, the ac barely works and makes loud noises and still trying to figure out what extra perks I am getting for $15/night resort fee. Paper thins walls and if you get a neighboring rooms with loud people, good luck sleeping. Front desk staff member could not have cared less and said I can t do anything about it Hotel is so bad, no hotel brand wants to affiliate themselves with them. Find somewhere else. If you get this hotel on Priceline or Hotwire, my apologies.
Great location, super great staff. My room was very clean and spacious. Ymca located next door which guests can use. Also has outdoor pool. Lobby has a little store and coffee/deli shop. Entry ways could use remodling or update, but very pleased with the hotel.
We were in town for MegCon so this was very close and easy access to the Convention Center and right across from the Orlando Eye. The room was great, the hotel lobby was invitig but the staff was not very professional. When I had trouble logging into the internet, it was because you have to accept to receive promotional emails from the resort.
The walls are thin and we didn't sleep much due to the neighbors. Also the sleep number bed didn't work on one side but I didn't bother the desk with that as it was quite late when we figured that out.
I would love to give 0 stars. I booked this hotel weeks in advance and showed up to find that I could not be checked in due to "technical safety issues" with the room, but was assured that they could place us in their partner hotel for no additional cost. They would not elaborate on the nature of the safety issues and were snarky and dismissive of all questions.
Room 1 had roaches, bloodstains on the curtains, a toilet 2 feet out from the wall, gaps between the door and its frame, no wifi, no information in the room whatsoever (and front desk didn't tell us the name of the place), noise, a microwave in use from previous guests, and more. Front desk hung up on me in the middle of asking for help with wifi.
Waited around next day for proper room. Storage was a closet full of peoples luggage minimally secured in the lobby. Finally get key to room. Stop and chat with another guest leaving the hotel. Warned us of hidden fees out of this world. No pool or fitness access without key and charge. Extra money for "free" shuttle to parks. Charged her 28$ for an extra towel. She had to wait hours for a copy of her bill. Duly warned of bugs as well we proceeded to our room, right next to ice machine and vending.
Room 2. Bloodstains on mattress and down the side of the bed and its skirt. Near the chest/head area. Stained chaise lounge. Moldy tubing for sleep number. Bedbug droppings and hair left in mattress. Water damage and unattended black mold near window. Abandoned room to request refund.
The GM was handling other disgruntled guests. Noticed huge hole in ceiling of lobby with insulation hanging down. GM didn't even look at our pictures, just approved refund like that was all he did all day. Got copy of bill back to show refund. Room was quoted at 330$ for 4 nights... refund was just under 600$ for one awful night and a half hour of taking pictures of problems in the proper room.
There's so much more to this story. So much more that went wrong. Just... stay away. Its bad.
I just checked out early from this resort I was originally gonna stay four day's but I really don't recommend anyone stay here there elivaters don't even work and it's a seven floor's high
By the end of our 2 days of hell, I had contacted the BBB, the City of Orlando code enforcement, and my lawyer. Management doesn't give a $h!t about anything. It's obvious their attitude is they know it's a good location and cheap, so have no plans to improve. Long check-in time. No hot water. Elevator was out and stairwell was completely dark, in which I tripped and hurt myself. Dirty and smelly. But hey, they did offer us some sweet breakfast vouchers for our trouble!
If all you are looking for is a hard bed and don t mind barking dogs at midnight with people screaming down the hallway at 2am, this place will work just fine.
This place is a disaster. First of all the bar is gone.. The elevator is out of order. The phones don't work. The staff is rude. Anyone considering bringing their family here for vacation will be extremely embarrassed. Its a motel 6 with palm trees. Disgusted. I will get my money back
Nice would go back if it wasn't for these things: Bed was very very Uncomfortable Teens screaming in hallways at 1am. Kids dreaming in hallways at 4:30am noise is heard clearly in room. Staff NOT very in informational (just hand you a key and go) no smiles.
Room smell so bad I can t even describe the smell, room was not clean .Television very few Chanel s that work. Construction around the property the all night, noise noise all night you can t even sleep. Manager don t really care about concerns. Pay a little more get something better.
Room was out dated, curtain were stained, bed sheets were stained, hot water in the shower worked 50% of the time. Parking is a nightmare it's open to everyone in the area so get ready to walk if your headed back late.
This place......... booked on Priceline, finally got settled in after night out, bed bugs, roaches, mold in ice bucket, bloody sheets, comforter, pillow cases all with blood stains on them. Ask for new sheets and the girls at the front desk (very rude) sends security in an aggressive manner with extra sheets that still had blood stains.
We would have left if we hadn t been drinking.... please never book this place
I would have rather stay at the motel 6. Customer Service sucks, the front desk takes forever to answer the phone, house keeping didn't clean up right. hairs from the previous guest in the tub. The heater didn't work, the vendors machine took our money. The Ramada was next door and looked more pleasant than the Allure. Don't waste your money here!!!
Very clean room and nice, helpful staff. Clean bathrooms. The big negative was the elevator! You have to wait quite a bit to get on. During our stay the elevator was shut down for a bit. So got a good workout. The last morning we were there I went to my car to see yellow "crime scene tape everywhere...evidently their was a issue was at the Ramada next door. Also, I got home to notice that we had been charged a 40.00 (extra fee for use of resort). The front desk was nice but told me it was a "hidden fee" through price line which I had not notice. A big plus was the bus to Busch Gardens...it was free. Very relaxing to and from Tampa...this is a wonderful service!! I would recommend this hotel for families looking to save a little money for a decent hotel.
My boyfriend and I booked a room here for a night just to relax. The price was great and the location was good. We were within a short walking distance to Joe's Crab Shack and ICON Park. After booking our room we read some reviews and began to feel hesitant since the comments were not the best, but we decided to judge for ourselves. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but nothing too disrupting. The staff was very friendly and you could tell they all had a great work atmosphere with the way they interacted with each other. Other than the construction area in the front the place was clean. The carpets in the hallways were clean, as were the walls. The elevator did not have an off smell like some hotel elevators do. The room was just as they described and looked just like they did in the photos. The bed was comfortable and had a down comforter and pillows. I loved that they had 2 regular (non-decaf) coffee pouches instead just 1 and 1 like most hotels. Also the WiFi connection was excellent.
There were some minor issues but nothing that ruined our night at the hotel. The couch that was in the room was old and you could feel the pullout bed in it and one of the TV's in the room was not securely on the wall.
We were very happy with our decision to stay here and look forward to staying here again.
It was barely a place you would want to sleep due to the multiple roaches I had to kill. The second night when we got back from universal there was a roach crawling on the bed. I looked in the drawer of the night stand only to see 3 roaches crawling around inside. I will never stay here again.
The hotel is nice. I mean it's not Disney nice, but for the price you really can't beat it. Upon checking in the staff was friendly and helpful. when we got to our room it was much much larger than I anticipated. As we're comfortable and showers were clean. I would have no issues staying here again.
walking in my room... big piece of carpet missing in front of my door.... closet doors broken missing pieces of wood...tub can be caulked and cleaned wayyy better....missing microwave and only one drawer opens!!!! never again!!!!
Had my room canceled without notification, found out by calling in to make sure all was set. They did get me back into a room however... Upon Checking in, they fought me about my reservation, they overcharged me for it, called expedia to get it handled and they hung up on the expedia csr twice. I was not notified of a $100 deposit just because I was a Florida resident... After 2 hours of my family waiting to find out about our room they pit is in the wrong room and reduced the charges by $20.00 instead of the $40.00. Basically the room I got was to be $149 and they put us in a $109.00, so they didn't even refund the correct amount. I didn't feel like arguing with them so I left and I'm calling the General manager to get this resolved. Funny... As my brother and I were waiting to check in a guest who was leaving warned us about the hotel and its lack of service. Everytime I was down there all we heard was complaints coming from all the guests! Stay away!
Turned up to discover the reservation had been cancelled with no notification and against the booking terms and conditions. No managers on site to deal with problem. Hotel was a building site. Our booking agent offered a full refund and put us up elsewhere.
I would give zero stars if I could. Definitely not even close to being a resort. Rooms are old and falling apart, parking is awful, lobby staff is lazy and have that "I don't give a crap" attitude, feels like the 1 elevator that actually works is about to break down during each use, rooms stink, and the list goes on. Do not stay here unless the choice is between your car or here!
