Broken things. Starbucks served in the lobby, but no iced drinks... even though they have ice coffee options on the menu. Doors to the room don't close securely. Fire alarm went off for an hour.. awful for those looking to relax.. but decent price for those who only need a place to sleep.. if by sleep you want a rude awakening. Just ghetto as hell.

This hotel was awful. I booked it on my way to Florida. When we got there it was a long process to check in. Our room was in the 5th floor and at that time only 1 elevator was working. We got to our room and the air conditioner wouldn't More
Room and staff were pleasant. The bar was apparently being "renovated" and wasn't open on a Friday night. There are plenty of other places however in walking distance for a late night snack. Overall a great place for the price
NEGATIVE 1 STAR REVIEW: I booked a reservation online, drove 3 hours to get to this hotel only to find out my reservation was cancelled and was never informed about it. Then I was told you have to be 18 to stay there? In March I stayed there when I was 18, so I figured it would be fine. This left me with no place to stay, at 11:30pm. The front desk was rude and didn't even care about my situation and told me to call customer service. I ended up another hour searching for a hotel that took someone at the age of 18. And the RAMADA was amazing and found an even better hotel closer to Universal. Never again will I come back here.
Locked the only available stairs (fire hazard). Lamp in room was not working. Mattresses we're incredibly stiff. There was not enough parking for all the guests.
I would give it a 0 stars If I could! After seeking a report on hotels from the Insider news report most of the hotels don't switch their sheets after their guests checks out. I asked a manager to have a housekeeping change bed sheets in front of us and he refused! He even told us if we would like to be checked out!! Which I thought it was very unprofessional and not helpful at all! The first time and the last for us at this motel! Yuck!
Nice big room. Decently clean. The beds are very uncomfortable, they have remotes attached which I assume is supposed to move the bed but they do not work. Long wait for elevator. Front desk staff were nice. The whole hotel AC does not work. Front desk had a portable fan on it. Had AC set at 65 but it didn't seem to get any cooler. Okay hotel if you're looking for affordable but you get what you pay for. Probably won't return.
Nothing special room wise, continental breakfast was a box full of bread so you can make toast and a couple danishes on a plate and they felt the nerve to have a tip jar for allowing you to make your own breakfast. Their restaurant is all frozen and reheated food. But the price was decent
They charge me twice for a down deposit and told me they would give it back to me when I m leaving the hotel. They sent someone to check my room and said everything was okay, but never credited the amount back to my bank account. THEY ARE A SCAAAAMMMM!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I wish i could give them (-10) Star.
The best: The price is good although you have to bear in mind that when you arrive at the hotel you have to pay a fee of approximately 11 dollars. The double room is spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, there is coffee, television and the bathroom is very spacious.
Worst: When we were (May 2017) only one elevator for all the floors worked, so it was a chaos to wait to go down or up the floors, it was very difficult to get into an unoccupied elevator. Breakfast is the worst breakfast I saw in a hotel in my entire life. They have more than 200 rooms and the place for breakfast should be 3mts by 3mts, smaller than the rooms! The horrible coffee, the juices intomables, the place is a mess, dirty, without a place to sit ... it would be preferable to indicate that they do not have breakfast and that people will manage elsewhere instead of putting "that" breakfast.
I stayed at the Allure Hotel for just a night and I actually enjoyed the short stay. The bad reviews I've read got me hesitant about booking but I'm glad I did reserve to stay. The hotel has lovely large "comfortable" rooms, It's not a Resort modern style hotel so keep in mind but the price cannot be beat for the location and view I had from top floor! The negatives is that the elevators wasn't working. One said "Out of order" but when I come to check-out the other elevator door never opened! I decided to walk down from 7th floor. And the door is loud when being closed as if you have to slam it. Lastly, I wish there was a Hot tub to relax. Be aware of resort fee and for locals they pay deposit fee for damages to room incase. Overall for a decent room, location and price I would recommend!
The cart to put our luggage we had to get it in another building. The bathroom with the water running and no lights to even use it. No paper the bed was so uncomfortable that I had pain in my back still. Horrible service the ac did not work. Horrible hotel would not recommend. Great location horrible hotel. Please don't waste your money.
The extremely bad attention. The keys did not open the door of the room. I had to go 3 times to the reception. Not to mention the bad smell of the facilities. The people who attend the reception are not friendly.
Do yourself a favor and RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN! My boyfriend and I had a "staycation" last week and stayed at this hotel. When I told him that I was going to write a review, he told me not to even waste my time doing so, but I feel as though I should make others aware of what we experienced. First of all, the name needs to be changed. This is the absolute FURTHEST thing from a resort. When we arrived at our room, everything seemed ok at first. A few minutes later, I decided to shower and had absolutely no hot water. I messed with it for a few minutes thinking that it would warm up, but it did not. I told my boyfriend and he decided to call the front desk and make them aware. When he tried to call, the phone in the room did not work. He called from his cell and they said they would send someone right away. When the maintenance man got there, he told us that the water wasn't hot because we didn't let it run long enough and that all it needed to do was run for 5-10 minutes, then it would warm up. He was just standing in our bathroom doing the same thing that I had done....let the water run. While he was there, he got another call stating that 2 other rooms didn't have hot water. He then told us that he had to go check the boiler room and would come back. He never came back. That night my boyfriend and I both took cold showers. The next day we informed them again of the situation, and still, the maintenance man never came. We went to Universal Studios that day and when we came back 8 hours later, still had no hot water. After taking another cold shower, we decided to ask to switch rooms. We were able to switch, and FINALLY have hot water. BUT....when we got to our new room, the sheets and bed spread were COVERED in stains. The next day, we went out for a little bit and came back to a room that hadn't been cleaned. I took a shower, only then to realize that we didn't have clean towels. My boyfriend went to get towels and was told that we would have to wait 40 minutes for towels. Now, I understand that laundry needs to be done, but really?, a 40 minute wait for a towel?! And the best part is, no one ever brought us any towels. We had to use dirty towels for our last evening/morning there. Second of all, the free breakfast! Haha! Now that was a good joke! Breakfast was literally a piece of toast, a cinnamon roll, and a micro sized cup of juice....and we had to go outside to get it! I wasn't expecting anything gourmet, but this was just unacceptable. Lastly, one evening we brought left overs back to our room to have the next day. Again, my boyfriend went to the front desk to get a fork and they refused to give him a plastic fork. They literally argued with him OVER A PLASTIC FORK!!! We really didn't know if we even wanted to finish our stay, but we did. That was the first and last time we will ever visit there. I don't even feel comfortable giving this place one star.
If I was you I would run far far far away from this resort. I was here on the 17 and we did early check in which was an extra 30 dollars. When we checked in there was no toilet paper nor towels, we asked for them at 10 am and never received them, then once we were ready for bed there was bed bugs. The staff was very rude and argumentative and never sent service for the room, as we were trying to fix our problem several other people came down with the same complaints. This hotel and resort should let everyone know that you need to bring your own towels and toilet paper, and to be advised of the bed bugs. The outdoors pool was dirty and nasty, and the indoors pool is really the ymca. I CAN NOT RATE THIS RESORT BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A F RATING.
STAY AWAY. Unless you want bedbugs and terrible service.
There was along line to check in and room key did not work also had to keep getting them fixed we have sleep number beds but they don't work. Overall it's still a excellent resort for the price we paid for 4 nights. We would definitely come here again.
NO hot water! Arrived and front desk staff was very rude. Ask for anything, and you'll get worse attitude than even the bad attitude you get for just waking in and disturbing her from her phone. The pictures on the website are NOT at all what the "resort" looks like. Do not stay here.
Very hard mattresses causing back pain every morning, we stayed for 3 nights, pillows were as flat as cardboard. Carpets had stains on them, air conditioning didnt get cold or some times not at all. One of the elevators was out of service so it made for long waits and the weight limit couldnt handle 4 people and light luggage so we had to go down in separate trips. We had two rooms, supposed to have connecting but didnt get that, and it had randomly two sleep number beds that sounded like a dinosaur dying when inflating, seems they were original sleep numbers... This whole place needs a major renovation. Been to some motels that were more luxurious than this, should not be considered a resort in the title.
Also our room keys would stop working every single day, so we had to get new ones made at least twice a day. So be prepared for that.
Hotel rubbish rude staff did not want me to check in after I paid my reservation because they do not allow Florida residents and they charged me a security deposit to admit me to the hotel which they charged me twice to my account horrible dirty pool , dirty rooms, nothing to do in the hotel, not a smile for the customer, hotel filth and rude employees, I do not recommend it to anyone.
Great location. Rooms are updated. Air conditioning needs work entire hotel and room are warm so bring a portable fan, you will have to ask the front desk a couple times to get things done, the mattresses were at one time. Nice select comfort pick ur number beds, not so much any more good luck getting them to inflate or deflate. One out of the two elevators has been broken forever, so if u don't want to take stairs be prepared to wait. The carpets in the hallways are thread worn. If u are looking to save a few bucks and want to be close to I drive then I would stay here. If u are expecting a four or five star resort, look elsewhere.
The absolute worst place to stay. Myself, my sister and her 5 kids all stayed there and booked it for a week. Within 2 days everything possible went wrong. Roaches in all the rooms they moved us to, laundry does not work and ruined 2 loads of our clothing, dryer door doesn't stay shut and we wasted 15 bucks, the breakfast was coffee and toast, no fridge in our room, the leftover disappeared along with several valuables, medications, a whole container of oatmeal, case of bottled water, the phones don't work, the front desk never answers the phones, the GM, whom I spoke with several times was a complete and utter jerk who refused to fix any problems, they hung up on me several times, even Expedia couldn't get through to anyone to fix my issues. On top of all that, the kids and myself all had bite marks all over our bodies from God knows what. It's bad when you spend 2 out of 6 days at a place then would rather pay another hotel than go back. They never checked us out, and refuse to give our money back. There were used condoms and condom wrappers, along with panties from another guest under the beds, the toilets, once were white, are now black, the list goes on. I am unsure how this place is even still open. Between the housekeepers stealing things, the management not fixing issues, the horrific customer service, the ratchet and ghetto building and the conditions of the property, this place should have been closed years ago.
The worst breakfast ever. No matter if u attend the free one or the cash one. Also the worst room cleaning service. The Allure Section is newer but the Orlando Metropolitan needs way too much fixes!
This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in a very very long time. The room smelled so bad and the WiFi did not work well at all. The staff was not friendly and challenging to deal with. I also had my coffee maker exploded on me. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. I would go a block down the street and stay at another hotel that starts with an A. This place needs to be shut down until they can clean it up.
Ok so we arrived about 11pm and checked in with no issues well parking was not the best but we did manage to get a spot. We head up to the room and open the door to go in when I notice a purse on the floor, the room had people asleep in it. When I went to the front desk they just say oh the computer has been acting up all day. Like WTH did this happen to other people also? We did get an empty room which was not bad kind of large so we had space a bit old but clean and had a nice bed. The phone in our room did not work and the safe was also not working. The lack of towels was frustrating we had only 2 one for each of us but managed to get more when housekeeping was outsid the door also there was no coffee maker or any silverware even though we had a little kitchen. The breakfast was interesting after finding it at least but they do also offer a buffet for less then $10 which did not give you a lot of choices and it was served to you but it was ok. Basically our stay was ok the room was fine not the best but not the worst the location of the hotel is most likely the best since you can walk around international drive and it was easy to get to the parks.
Love this Place... Your able to catch this at Really great prices, it's center to everything you may want to do on I-Drive. I ask for the same room Everytime which has the perfect view from the bed to the Orlando Eye, At night the lights are amazing coming from the wheel. The room is always a great size very Cozy, Clean and smells good when you enter. At times you have access to the Olympic stlye pool which they actually practice in next door. If they was to add complimentary Breakfast or a Dinner Stlye Buffet I might say this is the best place to stay period when visiting Orlando. I moved here and still go and stay at this location for days if not weeks at a time. Wife and kids love it..
Hotel room was nice and had everything you would need. The problem was getting into the room as key cards hardly ever worked. The staff at reception also need to learn basic customer service skills, they were very rude, I was asked at one stage "what do you want me to do about it". I would not suggest this hotel to anyone thinking of staying on International Drive.
It was okay. Just okay. Keep in mind the price is affordable. The pool is not great. The property is a little run down internally. The bathroom tub is a bit scary. It is a good place to sleep. It is a great location. There was caution tape around the hot tub.... there are not a lot of great amenities and the restaurants are undet renovation, but this could be a great hotel with a bit of work!
I am staying here now and am very unhappy! We had to switch rooms the first couple of hours after being here because the heat didn't work. The room is nice and spacious but getting things as simple as towels we were told would take 45 minutes and they never brought them two days in row just like the extra blanket and hair conditioner we requested. We had to leave a huge note on the sink requesting more towels and that blanket and still have not received the blanket or the conditioner requested. I had to just go buy my own. So dissapointed with the service here!
Worst hotel i've ever been to! Nothing worked and we went to the front desk 10 times for them to do something bout it and they never went to fix it although they said they would! At first they even gave us a room that was already being used! How can they not know when a room isn't vacant!? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The pool is so nasty, and the housekeeprs never went to clean pur room and we were there for 4 days until we decided to move to Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa which is one of the best hotels i've been to so far!
This hotel was so dirty I would not even shower there, German roaches running up and down walls and bathroom, sheets had not been changed and had stains all over, fake rose petals around bed and lots under both beds, miserable night there would not recommend to anyone, enter at your own risk..Don't know how they stay in business. I give this hotel a 0 star..
A friend of mine booked this hotel and after seeing the reviews I was nervous this place would be horrible. The room was great, the people at the front desk were really nice and it s in a great location. The only downfall was there were no towels at the pool but that s not enough to make me not want to stay there again. We were attending a convention at the convention center and it is a 1.3 mile walk, which didn t bother me or my friends although there is a trolly and a bus along the way. There was a resort fee but considering the price of this hotel and the other ones in this area, I didn t mind paying it. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of international drive.
Poor access control, whoever wants to enter the hotel. The bathroom is outdated. Disused bathtub with a very simple plastic curtain I don't know why they charge the resort fee, because there is nothing in the resort.
Very great resort. Centrally located on I-Drive within walking distance of a lot of attractions on international drive. The rooms are great, comfortable beds, pillows, all around great.
Absolutely terrible stay. Roaches in bed and shower no hot water. Moved rooms three times. Asked for a refund and GM said only 50 percent wow. Calling BBB first thing next week.
I didn't personally stay there, but recently made a reservation that I am now trying to cancel! But every time I call nobody answers the phone at the front desk. I got one person to answer then he put me on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up. I just want to cancel my reservation before they charge me. This hotel screams SKETCHY.
Poooooor, air sucks, it was soooooo HOT!! room stinks, no wash clothes at all. Barley any towels and mold in the bathroom. Oh and the air mattress went flat. They don't serve to locals anymore eithier, sorry for your inconvenience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
Don't waste your money very unprofessional and rude plus they have bed bugs and also dope Heads hanging around the front of the building....never again
Good enough for a place to sleep. The toilet runs all night and even if you close the bathroom door you hear it. The bathroom tiles are 2 different colors. There is stains in the carpet so I do not recommend walking barefoot. The lounger in our room is stained up with only god knows what. Definitely wouldn t even sit on it. The beds are apparently sleep number but the remotes don t work even if you plug them in. Found a dead bug in the drawer. The cabinet that closes for the fridge will not close so that s annoying. I don t think the a/c in the room works because we would set it very low and it s still hella warm in the room.
My wife and I got there around 2 am and we were told that our reservation for four nights was given to a booked event. Imagine travelling from a different part of the world and stuck in the lobby trying to figure out where to go. Please guys. Dont book a hotel at this place. I believe my wife and I are not the only ones stuck in the lobby that night. Not even one star for this Allure hotel.
It's a decent hotel. Nothing great about the place. We do get a huge room but there's no room service at all, no water, the complimentary breakfast is extremely. So if you're here for a 'good' fun, you ain't gonna have it.
This is my second stay at this hotel. Check-in was very easy and the staff was attentive. The rooms are large and the bathroom is very spacious. Location is right in the middle of many attractions including Universal Studios and a short drive from Walt Disney World.
