Great rooms with decent views. Very convenient location, less than 2 miles away from Universal Studios. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the TVs are nice and very large. The bathrooms are also roomy and clean. There is a fridge, a microwave, and a safe. The beds seem to have temperpedic controls but they don't seem to work. If I have one complaint it would be the complementary breakfast; while complementary, it is downright awful, with literally only a few sides of bread left out. Overall a nice hotel at a great location.

the rooms were fine. but my wife left her jewelry and called within an hour of leaving and they could not find it. it had to have been stolen by the maids.
and no manager has responded to 5 or 6 messages that we have left.
Horrible attention. I never come back. A scorn Lack of education. Total stratification. A shame of hotel. I do not know how there are people who come here.
Dated property with minimal amenities, but clean overall (thus the 2 stars). Location is great but I would not likely stay there again...unless they updated the property.
Stayed here from april 5th-15th 2017 all of the reviews are true! Not getting into everything but we had bed bugs in two different rooms and it's been a nightmare and it ruined our vacation! Do NOT stay here it is worth paying up to $2,000 more and staying somewhere nice.
I was there 4 years ago and it did not seem bad to me, it's a shame that it has decayed, the bad thing about all this is that I'm staying in another one in the area and it has cockroaches
Spent 4 nights hotel lobby was nice room was ok but had a real problem with the noise in the hall at 2 in the morning and again at 4:30 in the morning from a bunch of young girls in the ajoining room next to me. NEVER got any clean towels or the bed made NO CLEANING MAIDS ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN..... This place has good potential but clearly not enough employees staffed in the much needed places
Allure Resort is undergoing a renovation and will soon be a Holiday Inn. It is convenient walking distance to anything fun on International Drive and right across the street from Icon Park. There is a free shuttle to the Disney parks.
Like many others, I was hesitant to stay at the hotel because of the reviews I read here. However, I had a great stay overall. I was greeted by a friendly young woman last week on Friday and was able to check us in at 2:00 pm with no issues. The room did not smell musty, but instead clean. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The water gets VERY hot which is a plus. When I got to the room, the cable was not working so I called the front desk and they had someone fixing it in my room within the next 15 minutes, I was impressed. The only thing I can complain about is their sleep number beds not working (one bed had the remote completely disconnected from the wire) while the other beds remote did not work and the bed frame was completely broken. I'm sure if I asked to switch rooms, but it was not necessary in my eyes. I did not take advantage of the pool or sauna. Everything is walking distance and they have a nice outdoor shopping area across the street which is a plus.
If there was a rating if less than 1 star, that's what they deserve .... horrible place to stay ... I didn't even want to check in once I entered the lobby . Dirty and unsafe looking and they had the the nerve to not give me a refund for the 2 days that I did not stay there. I would have slept in my car before I played my head on anything in that hotel . Gonna contact the Attorney General about my refund and about their unsanitary conditions
Worst hotel experience to date. Rooms incorrect.(booked kings and was given queens)..took hours to fix and still left my guest with a dirty room....Crystal the manager lied about refund..can't get ahold of general manager "ray".....jakuzzi empty at pool...batteries dead in tv remote...room dirty....told repeatedly a time to get key to "correct room"...but instead spent the first 5 hours in Orlando of my vacation playing front counter tag with the revolving employees...front electric sliding doors to hotel broke and had to keep manually pulling them open....and to finish things off...went to make my coffee in the morning only to find open and empty coffee packets. Ridiculous ...just one thing after another....and now that I'm back home in st Pete.....can't get ahold of anyone....won't be returning and will tell all with ears open how horribly organized and disgusting the experience was....
They have two hotels and one is definitely looks worse than the other but we didn't see the inside of the "better". On the outside or did not look like a resort or hotel. It looked like a motel. We walked in our and it smelled of urine. Then we looked in the bathroom and saw three roaches in the tub. After that we had seen enough and walked out. We're glad we looked at the room before we brought our luggage in. After that we went to the front desk, got a refund, and found another hotel.
My family and I stayed here for one night and are so thankful we did not need to stay longer. I booked this without looking at reviews and that was a mistake. The hotel lobby was clean and bright and the staff was very nice when i checked in. We went to the room and it seemed clean and pleasant. It appeared a bit dated, but was nice. There were two Sleep number beds. Then I discovered there was one single towel. I back to the lobby to get more..there is only one working elevator. It took forever. Then I took my child to the pool. DO NOT be fooled by the photos. You could not see the bottom in the 3 foot end. The paint and concrete are messed up. The filter is broke so they have a home use portable filter bolted to a wagon sitting next to the pool with a 30 foot hose stretched through the water. The filter is wired to a cord and protected with electrical tape and wire nuts. The cord is plugged in to a non-GFCI outlet. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
The beds. Oh My God. The beds are broken so the sleep number system from the late 90's is flat. You may as well sleep on concrete. My body would go numb every few minutes and I would wake up and roll over. HORRIBLE.
Coffee Maker had mold. There was a large black lady in a thong taking instagram photos in the hallway. The smell of weed was overpowering. The ghetto atmosphere was frightening. Just don't do it. Pay the extra 50 dollars somewhere else!
Trashiest hotel I have ever been in. Management is NON EXISTENT and check in is a complete MESS. Make sure to read THE FINE PRINT on your booking details because there are certain people who cannot stay here depending on where you live. It is crazy and very unprofessional. STAY AWAY!!
One of the worst hotels ever. The facility could actually make for a nice resort but sadly the allure hotel management lacks common sense. This weekend the hotel actually I experienced in the 21st century a hotel that claims to be an "resort" actually have no AC and Box televisions and the elevator broke every second. Management has a hard time of understanding the guidelines of fire hazards because once the elevator broke the staircase was locked so you literally had around 30 people outside waiting.
Very comfortable, it is close to everything and meters from the Orlando eye. Clean and spacious rooms. It has a pool but we couldn't go due to time. Management has been very friendly.
HORRIBLE STAFF AND THE FRONT DESK CLERK ANNA IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND RACIST. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL ONLINE!!!!!!!!! DONT BOOK HERE. WHEN I CAME INTO THE HOTEL THEY FRONT DESK STAFF WAS EXTREMELY PROVOKING AND AGGRESSIVELY RUDE FOR NO REASON. THE FRONT CLERK ANNA IS RACIST CHARGED ME THE SAME ADDITIONAL HOTEL FEE TWICE!!! WHEN I SPOKE TO THE MGR DANIEL HE BASICALLY ADDED THE TWO AMOUNTS ON HIS PHONE AND SAID THE RESORT FEE IS OVER $11 WHICH IS ABSURD. I BOOKED MY RESERVATION ON LINE AND MY EXPERIENCE HERE WAS HORRIBLE ALL TOGETHER BECAUSE OF THE IGNORANT STAFF MEMBERS.
My family and I stayed at this hotel Memorial weekend. we wanted to stay an extra night so prior to going to the front desk I checked online to make sure there were still rooms available. as I go to the front desk I told the employee that we would like to extend our stay for one more night. she told me to hold on, then went behind the wall spoke to whomever came back and told me that the hotel was fully booked that we could not stay one more night. I looked at her and said okay. so I just waited until that employee's shift was over. I went back to the front desk spoke to a gentleman and ask him the same question about staying one more night he was like yes I'm able to do that and he took care of me. I just don't understand how you just lie to some one and say your booked when the hotel was not fully booked. Why wouldn't want to make your business some more money. Then needless to say when I walked by the following night. Employee looked at me and was shocked that I was still there. As a person who works in customer service you should really work on this as a company and have great people at your front because they are the face of your company.
I don t understand why so many reviews are negative. It s not a five star hotel but it reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was located in the ground floor and was very large and clean. Spent most of my time attending the conference in the OCC.
The ONLY good think about this place was the location other than that not worth it. The pool is no even close to the pool they have in the pictures it belongs to the YMCA right next to it and is not even updated looks like 70's pool. When I stay there the elevators wasn't working we have to use the service elevator or the stairs. My room carpet was dirty and had a lots of spots. The bed was terribly hard, uncomfortable and noisy. Do your self a favor and booked in another place!
The price and location are the best part about this resort. I was EXTREMELY nervous staying here after reading reviews a little too late to cancel or find a replacement. However, it ended up being okay.
Good things: The rooms aren t terrible. There s a convenience store in the lobby. The guest services area does provide discounts to local attractions.
Bad things: Customer Service could be MUCH better. The pool area isn t the cleanest. The hotel bar is closed.
They never gave us any wash rags hardly any of the staff can speak English and the house keeping just walks in your room with knocking and the managers do not care they just tell you they are sorry and to make sure you have all the locks on your door locked definitely would not recommend to anyone to stay at I will not be staying here anymore
believe it or not, hot water will only come 5 minutes after you turn the tap, complained 3 times and nothing been done. reception knows the problem and asking customer to wait water turned on for 5 minutes to be wasted to get hot water.....
I loved it.!! Extra mile they go to make sure your stay is comfortable. The photos don't do the hotel justice. The ferris wheel is called The Eye Of Orlando
The pictures on web site are not what hotels is like. Place is very dated and old. Rooms smell musty. Carpets are filthy. Did not have towels in room when I checked in. Front desk personnel were rude and totally lost. When I checked out the lady was behind counter sleeping and laid out covered in a blanket. Great job you get paid to sleep. This place needs a lot of work and should not be opened due to sanitary reasons. Unfit and dirty.
We checked in and put our things in the room & then left til later that evening. When we came back and I was putting my shoes in the closet, I discovered the carpet was soaking wet inside and outside of the closet from god knows where. We had to remove our things from the closet & keep them on the table. Tried to reach someone for over 30 minutes to request a room change, no one answered. Lobby was closed and no one there. Called the booking company we reserved the room through and reported it. They also could not reach anyone at the hotel. Beds are supposed to be Sleep Number beds, but the controls didn t work for either bed & they were literally hard as a rock, the sheets on one bed were stained with something unknown, the water for the shower was a weak single stream of lukewarm water. Tried adjusting shower head, with no improvement, the tv made a horrible noise anytime we changed the channel. Our room was never changed, none ever came to check the problem, house keeping never cleaned our room (we stayed 2 nights) & the hotel refused to refund any of our money. Absolutely horrible hotel, disgusting & unfit for anyone to stay in. It was our first and certainly our LAST time at this god awful place! I have included 2 pics to show the soaking wet carpet. This place needs to be shut down!
I stayed in this hotel for 2 night and was not very satisfied. Thefirst impression of customer service was very rude, no hello or thank you. The room blankets felt very dirty and the carpet on the floor had many stains and the bed even made squeeky sound which was very disturbing at night. As a whole very bad experience, would not recommend at all.
This facility was under renovation by it's new owner. Our room was so awesome! Seriously! They provide help with setting up any nearby park visits, being super close to Orlando's many attractions. They also provide free shuttle service to & from. On-site pool, gym, restaurant, snack bar, drink bar. Within very easy walk to numerous restaurants. So nice!
We waited over an hour- no exaggeration- to check into the hotel. This was at 2am (so 2am until 3am) and there were people waiting in line behind us for even longer. They were having computer issues supposedly but I'm not sure what was going on. There were three employees behind the front desk and it was taking them over 30 minutes to check one person in. Then police showed up due to another angry customer who wanted a refund. After all of that, the free "breakfast" was toast. When we found the buffet area they literally had toast and watered down apple juice. I took a picture of the sad display and then they added a tray of danishes. Toast and danishes. No where what you normally expect from a hotel with complimentary breakfast. Another reason I chose this hotel was for the shuttle service. We then find out the shuttle leaves for Universal Studios at 10:45am and returns at 10:45pm. The parks open and 9am and 8am and they close at 5pm and 8pm. Why does the shuttle only pick people up hours after the park closes? The facility was okay but the service was awful. Something is lacking in management at this hotel.
Worst hotel STAFF ever. Charged my credit card $179 when I paid in advance. Keep getting the runaround and I'm told to "call back tomorrow" DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ ON THIS HOTEL.
It was a good hotel at first but then we found bed bugs in our room and they didn t give us a discount and they moved us to the end of the hall to find the smell of weed all the way down the hall way the beds are to hard and the water barley worked! And the cleaning services wouldn t even knock when we were in the rooms they would just walk right in. Only one elevator worked and took forever! Prices were good and like I said it was good until the bed bugs but still would ve at least appreciated a discount for the inconvenience
Worst hotel experience in a long time. Terrible bed, cold showers, tv remote that doesn t work and a toilet that shoots water out the side when it is flushed.
I just finished this review and went to the elevator and neither of them worked. Never coming back.
One word...Deceiving. Pictures are very deceiving! This place is currently under renovation. The lobby isn't big and luxurious as you see it online. The check in lobby is literally the space of a one man standing closet! The eateries or restaurants are not even open and the pool is located on another hotels property that is technically their pool. So it is fair to say the Allure doesn't have their own pool. I was highly disappointed! Yes we pay for a place to stay, but damn i would like it to look nice also!
I usually tend to give establishments the benefit of the doubt when it comes to issues due to my. Background in hospitality. That being said, the location was the only "nice" aspect of my 2 night stay at Allure.
First and foremost, this place is by NO means a resort. It's a motel at best. Rooms open directly outside. People loitering outside, trash outside doors, paper thin walls, etc.
Secondly, there was no early check-in option. My colleagues and I had to wait over 4 hours before we could check into our room. When the time finally came to check in, we were forced to wait in a growing line of other visitors, numbering over 25 people. We waited for 40min in line before reaching the front desk to check-in: a process that normally takes 5 min tops took close to 15!! The receptionists were pleasant, but it was evident they had no real organization to their process as they passed 2 different tablets back and forth and took notes on scrapes of paper.
After we checked in, my colleagues went to their room in what seemed to be a newer part of the "resort". Perhaps their experience was better than mine. I made my way around the east side of the building to my room. Upon arrival, my door keys barely worked- I had to swipe both of them 4 times to open the stuck door. As soon as I entered the room I noticed one of the beds was not made to hotel-standards I have seen in the past. Moreover, there were a pair of sandals left on the floor. It was clear the room was not ready for a new visitor. I went to the front desk- the line had grown by this point- and tried to talk to woman behind the fake guest-services desk ( she was there to sell Disney park tickets), but she said she couldn't help. I was lucky enough to have the manager walk past at that point. I told him about the room to which he seemed appalled, and personally assigned me to a new room on the second floor and pool side....still in the old part, but in their defense they were pretty full and busy.
Now, my new room did seem a bit better. It seemed bigger, the beds were made, bathrooms were clean; my room was still open to the outside air but the pool view from the backside was pretty nice. But the worst was yet to come. After the first night,I was exhausted from travels and I slept very deeply despite being able to hear every footsteps and shout outside my door. When I woke up, I had a few itchy bug bites on my fingers, shoulders, and forehead. I dismissed the bites as mosquitos' because the sheer idea of anything else is disturbing to the core. The second night however was a little different. I was not as tired and anxious for my flight home. After sleeping a few hours I awoke suddenly and laid there. I felt itchy all over my shoulders and back, elbows, thighs...I did my best to ignore it because I thought it was related to my overall germaphoia, so I rolled over to try and get more rest before my early flight, and that's when I notice a tiny insect crawling on the pillow next to me. I shot up, knocked the pillow on the floor. And then heart racing check the rest of my sheets. Low and behold I found several other bugs crawling around in the sheets and pillows. I can't even begin to describe how disgusted I felt. It was sickening. I had multiple bites all over my body. I got my bags together and left my room. My flight home isn't for another 4 hrs but there's no way I could sleep any more.
When I went to check out, I told the front desk concierge, "I think you might have bed bugs". I told her what I saw and my about my big bites. She started to say "Yes we know about the this-" but then sort of cut herself off. She then apologized for my experience. She said "yes, I'm sorry for that". ...yeah. I'm sorry for that too!!
Don't let the "resort" part of the title fool you. Conference goers: do not let the distance to the conference center fool you!! This place is terrible.
The room was nice and fairly updated with what looks like new rugs. I'm not too happy that after booking because of the amenities I was told that the indoor pool was not available because it was rented by others and that the pool tables where not available to use because of remodeling. Im basicly left just the room ro sleep in. If I would have known this prior to booking I would have gone another route which would have saved me money. How are they gonna charge a resort fee when the amenities are not available. So displeased
The only good thing about this place was the price and location. Staff was rude, or just didn't speak any English, they managed to cancel our reservation, we drove from New Jersey and got there super early so had to wait about 5 hours for check-in. Wanted to wait in the bar area only to find out that there is no bar - lost their liquor license. Went to the pool to see that it is trashy, and my son found a bag of weed on the ground. Our phones didn't work in the room so we had to go to the front desk anytime we wanted anything. They cleaned my friends room, only they didn't replace the toilet paper. Housekeeping told us no when we asked for extra towels. The hotel looks like it's still in the 90s. Beds were old sleep numbers, which didn't work properly. Everytime we flushed the toilet or took a shower, the pipes sounded like a dying walrus for a good 15 minutes. Had conjoined room with friends and they even heard it in the middle of the night. Could even hear when floor above is flushed their toilet. Save yourself the money and just go to a day's inn.
Broken Sleep number beds mean sleeping on bed of rocks, room service took tip with note asking for extra towels and in return gave us 0 towels, 4 calls to front desk later asking for towels we ended up taking some from the pool which was closed during the day and best part was when room service took all my contact lenses so I could not see at the theme parks or to drive home and management didn't seem to care about the situation their staff created.
If there were a lower rating trust me I would give it. My family and I travel all the time this is the lowest place we have EVER been. Service is horrible told us for days the manager would contact us about our problems and the biggest one was the AC IT STAYED AT 75 he whole time and NOT ONCE DID ANY MANAGER CALL OR COME BY OUR ROOM.Never brought us new towels all we can say is WOW. NEVER STAY HERE NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE. You have better luck at the Days Inn up the road.
The worst experience at a hotel! First, my room smelled like smoke and musk, second, when i was switched to a new room, i went out to eat, came back and there was someone who was in my room as they left evidence of their shirt behind, used towels , and toilet seat up. Clearly the staff gave my room key to someone else and that someone else clearly helped themselves to my room while all my belongings were there. Or it was a staff member. Luckily nothing was stolen or no one was hurt but this is a huge safety issue! Upon telling the supervisor, he had zero concern. Come to find out, the next day when i went to speak to the manager she was not there and the staff reported there was no documentation of this incident!!! Just absolutely the worst customer service ever! Please do not come to this resort! This place doesn t even deserve 1 star!!
The front desk staff..TRASH! A company can strategically place money in areas to grow the business then hire the wrong person at the point of customer interaction. I m not a repeat customer. I spend vacation money carefully. Three unpleasant interactions with a nonchalant/ I can t be bothered/ visually annoyed staff lady. Nope we are good.
We were charged 2 times for the same room, and upon informing the staff they didn't believe us and made me show proof from my bank account before they would refund my money. I was ok with the situation, because after all you cant trust everyone, but they then began to speak in a different language in front of me while I waited for resolution. Later on when another guest asked a pool attendant where the towels were we watched the attendant roll her eyes to another coworker after showing the guest where they were located. The free breakfast was only bread and dry looking pasties beside a toaster and juice dispenser. I am not one to complain about service, but this place was terrible!
Great location, access to everything, room with good bed and good shower, however we got one with very bad carpet, air conditioning had to turn off because it comes a bad musty smell, are under renovation and so the reception adapted in a bad place !
This has been by far the worst Housekeeping service I've ever experienced. I was first given a room that the was dirty, paper all over the bathroom, dirty toilet, not vacuumed, the bed was done but when I pulled the covers it was obvious that the sheets were not changed. As soon as I saw that I requested another room and told them about how dirty the room they had given me was. They gentlemen at the front desk was not surprised at all and didn't even apologized. The next day I left the towels on the floor to be replaced and when I got back my door was open, housekeeping didn't close it til it locks, I just pushed it without inserting the key and it opened, they just did the bed, took the dirty towels but did not replace them with new ones. Do not stay at this "hotel" if you want to have a nice vacation experience.
Older man who came to close the pool was obnoxiously rude to everyone. Adults can leave at closing time without an attitude. Room didn't have any towels and a cleaning rag was left on desk. Front desk man at checkout was rude and short. Front desk always took forever. Only people who were Friendly was Nick and a short Hispanic guy. Even the cleaning lady got an attitude 15 minutes before check out because she wanted to clean our room and became argumentative when we responded that we still had 15 minutes. Good price for location though.
The hotel is great. It's not perfect but a very good value for the money. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location could not be better. I stay there 2 times a month.
Our experience at Allure was absolutely and unbelievably terrible.
First off, the hotel is currently undergoing massive construction in which there were loud noises right outside our room all throughout the nights. It did not look or feel like the 3 star hotel it was marketed to be.
Next, after our first night, I got a few bug bites on my arm and thought maybe it was from mosquitos, but had bed bugs in mind as a possibility. During the second night, I woke up every hour or so because of I kept getting bitten and would wake up itchy. After waking up 4 times to numerous new bites, I knew it was bed bugs and started looking for them. I ended up finding one right on the bed and as soon as reception opened that morning I went down with my mom to complain.
We spoke first with the receptionist about the bed bug, which we also brought in a cup, who seemed rather concerned with this issue (as expected), and she sent maintenance to go further investigate our room. The maintenance man seemed a bit shady because he claimed to have never seen a bed bugs before or to know anything about them, yet he was the one doing the further investigation. Following that, we went to the reception desk and found general manager Maria.
She was attending to another guest who was complaining about a giant Michael Kors bag of clothes including a new leather jacket that had gone missing from their room. Apparently the cleaning lady had thrown it away...and it was not Allure s responsibility....
When it was our turn, we showed her the following pictures and asked where the bed bug was. To our surprise, she reclaimed the cup from the trash can that they had tossed a LIVE bed bug into. I was appalled at the lack of urgency and severity this issue was approached with. She offered us a partial refund for the room we had stayed in, but that was only half of what we paid since we had 2 rooms. We did not feel appropriately taken care of by Maria and therefore decided to leave Allure. And in the event that they try to claim that we brought the bed bug into the room, we were at one hotel before this and two after and there were no bites before we came to Allure or any more after. This is not just a one or two bed bug issue as you can see by the photos.
I do not recommend that anyone stays here in the future, as there are clearly issues with management and service that we witnessed both in our experience and in the experience of other customers we met in the lobby.
Hello. This will be long to read but I will resume more that 6 years of bad business, but without any other choose bc convenience. 1.- About 4 years ago they leave us without any room, because we came late from Miami. Had to sleep in the car one night, no refund, not attention, nothing. 2.- This weekend I talked with a rep by phone. She laughed about the experience I had some years ago. I want her guaranteed my room till late night. I'm driving for SW Miami. Thanks good we find our room ready to sleep. Now with a baby. Some points up! 3 Room very deseable, shower was no working right. Anywhere the beds were clean and nice to sleep. When in the morning, we checked our car they gave us a warning because no parking in a right spot the night before. (They don't have spots close enough to walk pregnant and my 2 year old) however. We learned our lesson parked our car in a goo spot designed, far, but lets be good customers. Guess what???? We got our car stolen, disappeared, missing, for the day!!!! And off course more expenses. 3.- Costumer service all disappointed, long lines to checked out, no enough staff, no uniforms, and they said nothing. When we arrived with the news, no managers, like they don't have rules there. 4.- Orange County Find my car some hours after, but Sunday, other story. I have to come back to Orlando to recover my car. It was robbed, one window broken, no car seat, no papers, no other stuff. 5.- and they where worried about parking close to the building???? No nice! I don't use to do this. But enough is enough. Ugly, unsafe and dirty place to stay. No more.
The room were clean but is pretty old and not good looking. The stairs for the second floor has a very bad smell. Service wise they were corteus and fast.
Terrible Staff...Rented a vehicle from Green Mountain in the Lobby. BEWARE..total crooks they randomly charged my card. No customer service and Very rude " owner". Avoid these thieves at all costs!
As soon as we arrived turned on faucet ,no running water in sink ,toilet or shower. Checked beds and found the fitted sheet was dirty and stained and there was hair. Called down to front desk , they said they would send someone . Beds are sleep number beds woo-hoo! But didn't work! Maintenance guy came turned on water and fixed the controls on beds . House keeping came and changed fitted sheet. That was Day 1 . On arrival . Day 2 pouring rain went down to lobby it was raining inside of lobby and hallway water just pouring out of a ceiling light. Seemed pretty dangerous to me . Have video proof . I guess they have there own Waterpark! Day 3 . Came back to hotel after a long day at the Convention Center . Walked from the convention center to hotel so of course I need a shower . Guess what no towels or washcloths .Called front desk all they say is ok , no apologies no explanations 45 min go by nada. Another call finally gets a "I'm so sorry well get them to you soon" . Oh and wait the elevator, only 1 appears to be in service so just prepare to go down and up the stairs that smell a little pissy. And last but not least roach in the room day one tried to kill him but he fled to the dresser . One more night here hopefully nothing else happens. Hopefully we will not be taking our friend the roach home with us .
Me and my fiance went there for our little romantic getaway. Worst stay ever! The rooms look nice but we had bed bugs and roaches! The pool is never open the guy in the convenient store was so rude. The food at the cafe is over priced and not good at all. The night staff was rude. We will never stay there again!
We had to try sleep between 81 and 85 degrees for 3 nights because the air conditioning was not working. We were promised it was going to be fixed on the first day and nothing had changed when we checked out. We were also promised a full refund for our stay, and it has been two weeks and haven't heard back from anyone at the hotel. We were merely lied to, and had to ask for a bottle of water as some sort of compensation as it was unbearably hot in the room. Fire alarm also went off at 4am one morning just once we finally managed to fall asleep in the heat. We were also overcharged by the hotel cab driver, soon realising local cabs were much cheaper. Overall it was the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had and i want the full refund we were promised.
This is the biggest crappy hotel I ever stayed at Walked into a he room saw a couple roaches in the bathroom, 3:30 AM had to change rooms the air conditioning stopped working. Also the pullout sofa had no sheets waited 1:15 and one trip to the front desk and three phone calls to get sheets for it.
Second night we came to no power after being out from 9AM to 7 PM and that the elevators were broken I complained I have three disc in my back that are bad and now I am on the 7th floor with no elevator the people at the front desk were condescending arrogant and didn t care I will never stay there again and I work for public tv and will find away to make trouble for this roach motel pretending to be a resort Also all photos on any web site were not what we walked into terrible place.
NO TOWELS! We arrived for our one night stay shortly after check-in, around 5:00 pm. Upon entering our room there were no towels. We thought it was a mishap by housekeeping and phoned the front desk to ask for some to be brought up to our room. We were assured it would be no problem the towels would be up shortly. After 4 hours of waiting (we had dinner in this time) we really just wanted to shower after a long day and go to sleep. Still there were no towels upon re entry to our room. We called the front desk again and the representative said there was a "towel problem" and hung up on us. We purchased our room through Priceline and decided to see if we could reach some kind of common ground with them or at least go to a hotel where we could shower. The representative with them was nice and she contacted the hotel directly and told her if we walked down to the front desk we would finally have our towels. So we ended our call with Priceline and behold they had no towels for us. We were informed by STAFF FROM THE HOTEL that there were NO TOWELS FOR GUESTS AT ALL. We didn't know what to do, we don't like to argue or make a big deal but we wanted to shower. We walked across the street to the gift shop to find towels. They were closed. We sucked it up and went to sleep filthy. I guess we could have gone to sleep wet from a shower but we didn''t.
I ended up staying here for few days due to last minute travel arrangements for a conference. Contrary to the reviews, my room was clean, spacious with newer carpet. But, this is definitely a very old place. However, this place has ample parking spaces, walkable to all restaurants nearby. I survived staying here without any bad experience. So, I have only positive things to say.
