Well, well, I have been on the phone for an hour for nothing.

Missed email for first payment when taking out car insurance. In the end just paid. A few days later I received an email that we were taken out of the insurance because we are "defaulters". Never experienced anything retarded. At Independer we are now also available as defaulters, which means we can only take out 1 insurance policy and we have to pay a full year in advance. Really too bizarre for words that a company can make this !! Eventually insured with ANWB. Saves 10 euros a month too!

Had damage to my car abroad. Called twice because online reporting form did not fully cover the scope, waiting times amounting to half an hour. Employee hung up at first without calling back because they could not hear me. After the second time I used the advice on the band to chat. The employee initially tried to answer my question with a wrong answer and then I got the message that my question could not be answered via the chat, while the exceptions were not mentioned on the tape. Because the employee I eventually got to speak to by phone advised me to file a complaint, but this was done without a substantive response. In my opinion they are therefore not service-oriented, although they do come with an attractive premium and policy conditions.

Incredible BAD insurance company.
Doesn't reply to emails or update your information (after mailing twice).
They even had a gigantic leak which they've never said anything about since it happened months ago, hoping it dies down and ppl forget.
Use a horrible intermediary which is just throwing your money away too.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Your personal information is at risk here!

At Allianz both the car (3 years new value) and the caravan (5 years new value) insured.
If you take out the insurance, the rates are definitely competitive. Because you have insured several years of new value, you can not transfer to another insurer in the interim because you will not have a new year's value.
So they bite you 3 years (car) or 5 years (caravan). You can not switch because you lose the new value conditions.

Allianz then annually increases the premium by 10 to 20 percent. If you compare with other insurance policies, they are just a few tenner per insurance per month more expensive than others.

Do not step into it. If another insurance company is slightly more expensive than Allianz in the beginning, it is the other way round when it is renewed !!

And just like last year: after 2 weeks a new bill comes, albeit with a still higher premium but now almost 10% instead of a 15% increase.
Strange course of events to significantly increase the premium year after year, and then correct that again.

Private 2 car insurance taken out through independer. That went fine. No complaints so far.
So also the business car insured here. That went fine at first. But now the nagging begins: they cannot find the damage free years. I notice that one time only looks at license plate and the other time at driver / insurance. That is a strange state of affairs. We had 12 years damage free on the old policy. But you have to go after it yourself to get that into the roydata system? Why do they have such a bad system? Why can't those insurance companies see that as standard? They share a blacklist without problem. (I assume).
I don't understand why they make it so customer unfriendly if you want to insure a business car. TQM is something they haven't heard about. Reply to your email also takes a long time.
In short: not recommended for business insurance

They only look at how they can pay you as little as possible.

New home insurance taken out in connection with owner-occupied home, simply paid. Now suddenly a letter that the insurance has been canceled due to the outstanding amount. Contact with customer service is difficult, long waiting times by telephone. Chat also long but faster a response. Response was unfortunate, you cannot take out new home insurance with Allianz. Then the Chat was closed. Incredibly customer-unfriendly and unnecessary. Received mail few days later, with a "shame you go" as they are the ones who kicked us out. We get back the excess paid in premium. Contacted the chat again, mentioned this course of events, unfortunately no response or apologies. No recommendation this company! Would anyone advise against having anything to do with these people. One star is way too many.

I contacted the claims handler several times to get clarity about the handling of my claim. More than six months later and many emails later, still no repair.

Tricky policyholder, I unfortunately discovered after taking out the policy that many clauses had been included, which unfortunately had not been explained verbally. Unfortunately, nothing could be changed about this and therefore my resulting cancellation can only be processed through the notice period. We find the price ratio very high in this case!
Soon we will be insured cheaper elsewhere without clauses and therefore a good feeling.

If you have received a new Volkswagen 5 days ago, today you will receive a bill of 2 months .. I have not been told that you have to pay 1 extra month windscreen (vein under the grass)
If you indicate how that is possible and I have never experienced that (I have been with 4 insurance companies), people will say bluntly, we will just do this and you can do nothing about it if you do not want this, just go to another insurance ! How cheeky can you be!

Termination insurance is nothing short of a drama and that for a moped insurance! Never driven damage and even when London became 20 more expensive than the others, I remained a customer. At termination everything seemed too good, 5 got back because I was too good but then ... 3 weeks later the new insurance amount is on my rack. deposited so nice work for me to return it. Then it also turns out that they have sent a summation to pay, nothing no apologies or telephone that a mistake has been made. So emailed with a Mariska from London and sent all correspondence and get a rude email back as if it is my fault that their administration is not going well. Silent for 3 weeks and I get another memory with ref; Prolongation !!! And no email or phone call about it and that for 20 extra. Has to be treated by a specialist costs 1050 at least, then not even gasoline compensation etc. After 3 years maybe 1000 is awarded, but because I went to the physio once in 2012, Allianz wants to reject this claim. As handicapped you can stay nice and handicapped if it's up to Allianz. scandalous

Car insurance taken out online paid directly via iDeal. However, the sale was canceled, so insurance was immediately canceled. Receipts sent. I have now been in contact 3 times and it is now clear that I can expect the premium payment back in early 2021. Insurance taken out on October 28, 2020.

My car insurance policy was refused without any proper reason. I have 15 years of free insurance, but a collision during sudden traffic jam at the back (responsibility and payment by insurance of that driver) was charged to me by Allianz. The risk was too big. Ridiculous !! Unkind staff.
Immediately went to another insurance and also my continuous travel insurance, 7 euros per month cheaper !!! Immediately converted to new insurer.

I paid after my first reminder (I had NOT received the bill), then I got a second reminder, it took me three phone calls to FINALLY receive a confirmation on my email that my insurance was covered. These people clearly underestimate the necessity of WRITTEN confirmations.

A kind and conscientious gentleman took up my case and provided the required document.

I advise all people not to take out travel insurance with Allianz!

I was on holiday during the holidays in December and had an infection in my ovaries. Because of this I could hardly walk or stand without pain and therefore spent the entire holiday in the house. I did not want to go to a doctor or hospital because it is a 3rd world country where we went, but in the end I decided to go to a doctor. So it turned out that I had contracted an ovarian infection and received antibiotics and painkillers for this.
We also wanted to go back to NL earlier, but there were no more places available on the plane due to the December crowds (due to the holidays). So this was not possible.

By the way, during the holiday I had been in contact with Allianz and had collected all invoices (bills for medicine and doctor, Stay and bill for airline tickets).

Now Allianz says that we get nothing back, except for the costs of the medication.
While I have proof that I was seriously ill on vacation! I think this is the worst insurance ever!
Every year we pay his 90 and that for years and now we need them and they are not there for their customers! We also immediately terminated this insurance and find the money beating!

And if you are sick on vacation, they will tell your health insurance too! So in short you just have nothing to do with this!

I want to cancel my insurance, call the corresponding number and then I am on hold for 20 minutes. Once through the options menu, I end up with a lady from Allianz Direct, she tells me to call another number, one that is not listed under the heading 'cancel insurance'. A transfer within the same company is apparently not possible ... Called the other number and then put on hold again.
KPN has a good deal with me this month.

Update: Initially it was two stars, now one. After calling the other number and being put on hold again, I was told that I needed yet another number. Unbelievable ..

Sent proof of my car but this crook gang claims they didn't receive anything. Sent again. They also claim that they never received it.

Recently my car burned out and that is of course very annoying.
Fortunately, you think you are insured with a large company with an appearance like Allianz.
Fortunately, you better leave it out, the information that Allianz gives you in this process is very slow and little.
You have to continuously call everywhere at the back to get something arranged or information.

The further handling of the damage is not only very slow, but also dramatic, how everything must go with their regular buyers, etc.
And when, after more than 6 weeks (without being offered any replacement transport for even a day), the damage is finally fully compensated.

you find out that something went wrong again and Allianz is still writing off the premium of a car that burnt out 2 months before.
While the employees have confirmed you several times by phone a month in advance that the car is exempt and said that they can see this in their computer (this because the buyer imposed by Allianz does not live up to his agreements)

All in all a very bad experience with Allianz and furthermore as sorry and we knew this and that you will not come, meanwhile you are almost 2 months too busy with the whole incident.
I think I have called 20x hours with Allianz and all the companies that involved them in the case.
I do not know what bothered me more that my car has burnt out or the whole process that you then have to go through at Allianz.

You now pay the premium once via AcceptEmail. All premiums afterwards you pay by direct debit. We ask you to ensure that we have received the outstanding amount by 11 June 2019 at the latest. A bank usually needs a few days to process your payment order. Keep this in mind.

This is already paying, the insurance will be canceled, be a new customer.
I have already reported to the ACM and they also take this very seriously!

Been involved with Allianz by a collision with a car insured with them. The payment took a fairly long time. But the advance amount for the expertise invoice was not paid because it was too high. Allianz has not communicated that a maximum amount will be paid. This would be 80 euros in the first case. 35% of what I paid. The expertise is done at a recognized company. It finally took me 4 months to receive this amount, only after I sent a letter of complaint the second time.
Very poor communication and slow handling. Certainly would not want to insure there himself.

A crappy company this is, I've been waiting for 300 euros for over a month. Every time I call they say the money is out but I have an ING bank and London insurance too so it should be in my account right away.
And they try to do everything they can not to sue you.

London Insurance is a company that insures everything and everyone, but when it comes to paying, they are not at home and they seem to just not have to pay.
