All My Sons Moving Storage of Fort Myers, FL Reviews

They have fake reviews posted on here which is against Google's policy. They will steal valuable furniture don't use them!

On December 5th, Dan Ross from All my Sons moving (Ft Myers Florida franchise office) sent me a quote for my Florida to North Carolina move. Not only did Dan walk through my house and record all of my possessions, I had my bill of lading from the exact same move the year prior, detailing the weight of the load.
The move was finally scheduled to take place Monday February 17th with the contents to arrive in North Carolina on Wednesday the 19th. From the moment we began this move, it was an unprofessional disaster. The movers were late and I had to call to find out their ETA. Once they arrived they began their loading of the truck. While I was out buying lunch for all of the movers, I received a phone call from the main office saying that the estimate was not correct and I owed another $650 for the move. WHAT? I realized at this point it was a pure bait and switch move they had given me a price to get my business and now, while my stuff is on their truck and I am at their mercy, they change the price. This was unacceptable. The gentlemen loading the truck told me this was usual for their clients and they felt terrible about it but it happened every single time they were on a move. I did not agree to pay. I argued since I had provided the correct weight of my items.
Once I read reviews on the company (the individual branches made it hard to tell on office from another (this was FORT MYERS FLORIDA) I saw this was a tactic they used all the time. Every review (every one!) said that they were quoted an amount then the price was hiked upon moving. BAIT AND SWITCH IS ILLEGAL!

Theft, child labor, non-disclosure, destruction of property, this place does it all! It all started with a quote "$114/hr for 2 man team plus $114 deposit for travel time and fuel/labor." Job took 3 hrs, ended up costing almost $700. Do the math, it doesn't add up. Furthermore, your "deposit" is not returned and is in addition to the cost of the move. Bait and switch. Point blank asked the rep I spoke to how pricing worked and if there were additional fees, I even asked for them to run the numbers on a 3hr move, we both came up with the same answer around $400 give or take....
Fast forward to moving day, the driver pulls up and out of the truck hop two kids who couldn't have been more than 16 yrs old. Able bodied at best but definitely still in high school. Then we get to my new place to unload and they haven't taped or strapped any drawers shut, no protection on any of my items in the vehicle either. Only protection they offered was mattress protectors.... At the top of my outdoor, concrete staircase, a drawer flies out of my $600 dresser as the two minors struggle to hold it steady and bounces off every step as it crashes its way down. suffered the loss of the corner and deep scratches. no apology from the staff, just a not-so-reassuring "don't worry about that, insurance will cover that completely" No, it's 60 cents/lb OR "full coverage" IF you pay for it. Really didn't think I would need it since I had hired "professionals" aka 2 16 year olds and adult supervision. As if that wasn't enough, the 2 minors were so amped about their recent destruction of property that they decided the best way to get a 28" wide desk through a 32" door frame is with a running start and plow right into the frame, completely destroying the leg and attachment assembly. Then, I asked them politely to take the desk to the dumpster after they finished and instead, they threw it under the staircase and left! It was literally the last thing they did before they left!
At this point, I just want these "professionals" out of my house so I can begin filing my insurance claims. (which so far has been a 45 day struggle and counting, took 30 days to get my first response!) Then within minutes of them leaving, I realize they still have my glass table tops on their truck! I call text and email the driver and All My Sons, no answer, no call back. I figured, it's the weekend, I'll address this Monday. Finally talk to someone in claims dept and dispatch about the missing glass..... shocker, it's GONE! These were custom glass tops, not sure why they would be stolen but I saw them go on and they never came off (we've searched EVERYWHERE!).
After telling this story to any and everyone who would listen at All My Sons, I have gotten nothing but an offer from a third party claims company for a whopping $72 to cover the $1200+ in damages. No one ever returns my calls (even in the beginning when I was REALLY NICE about everything!) No one at All My Sons seems to be interested in making this right. I would highly recommend steering clear of this company and avoid ending up in my position.

Movers don't clean up after themselves. Movers left their empty Gatorade bottles sitting on an enclosed electrical unit in between the neighbor's house leaving the neighbors to clean up after them. What a great way to introduce yourself to the neighborhood by leaving your trash behind! T

We had a great moving experience with the team of Jeremy, Witten and Jay! They went above and beyond the call of duty and we appreciate it very much! These two went above and beyond for our move. It was already a stressful time and they came on time and ready to work. They got the whole house packed and ready to move in record time.

We used All My Sons Moving to switch out some furniture between to different residences here in Fort Myers. One residence was a single family home and the other was a 4th floor unit condominium. From the initial scheduling with Harry; to the actual move with Justice and Wesley, everything went smoothly. I even received a call during the move from a manager making sure everything was going ok. We would most definitely use All My Sons Moving in the future.

All my son's moving companies are a joke. I paid nearly 2,000.00 for a move and the movers stole 2 of my gold framed mirrors, broke the frame on my 3rd mirror & broke the glass on my china cabinet they offered me 15.00 towards the damages. I will never use ALL MY SON'S again.

Got the job done fast and the movers were nice. however they were 2 hours later than the 2 hour Window they gave me. I had to move in the dark. Also they left behind a heavy box which I indicated needed to be moved, I then had to move it myself as a petite woman.

Josh Ortiz and Dave moved me from my house to an apartment on the 4 th floor. Very quick and professional. I had some bulky items and they took extra care of them.
Very great experience. Will use them again when needed.

We were so pleased with the movers at All My Sons. They worked hard and were very professional. We had some very tight and challenging squeezes for the furniture. They never complained and figured it out. I highly recommend this company.

I'm very impressed with all my sons. The lady in the office was very friendly and set up an appointment to have the estimator out within a couple of days. The estimator came out and gave us an estimate and explained the entire process. On the day of the move the guys showed up right on time. It was a full pack and move and they handled all my items with care. It felt good to be able to trust them to pack it all up. We got where we were going safely and I would definitely recommend this group!

Very professional, they take no breaks! Estimate was very competitive and despite working a little bit over the estimate, they rounded down saving me maybe 70$! Nick and his other managers came out to over see AND followed up after job was done. Nick s numbers and All My Sons number is saved in my phone as I wont even look for another company!

I recently used All My Sons Moving & Storage for a small move between condo s. Although it was a light move, I have very expensive items. They were so careful & detailed with the packing and maneuvering, but also fast! I really haven t done business with a more professional mover and I ve moved over 10 times 6 years. From start to finish, the transition was seamless. I would highly recommend them for any size move.

HORRIBLE. Showed up 6 hours later, then tried to raise price before they would unload truck. Half an hour of arguing they charged quoted price but made me pay up front. Took another 3 hours to unload 1 bedroom apartment.

They re very professional and fast. Very careful with my personal items and furniture. The movers were very reliable and informative about the moving process. I highly recommend using this company.

Updated 1/7/2019: The marble top to my table was broken, pieces removed, table frame covered back up in the blanket, and loaded it into storage container, causing me not to notice until I unpacked the item weeks later after I had already filled claims. When I unwrapped the blanket, there was not even any marble in the wrapping. If I post a complaint, they threaten to sue me per an email dated 1/7/19. I am NOT expecting them to repair my table. This is an account of my experience and this not a complaint, law suit, or claim against them. I have witnesses that can confirm these facts. Google reviews are public.
There were other items damaged that happened in my physical presence and I made a claim and All My Sons paid an amount that they are legally obligated to pay.
1/22/2019 update: Per your response, when I contacted you about the marble table top, and sent photo's, your response was "you already submitted a claim for the broken Shark mop, damaged Edison player (you called it a radio), and broken dining room chair on 11/2/18, and I was allowed no more claims.The only information a recent email and phone call was that I would be sued if I posted on Google and you were instructing me to remove my Google review. I updated my Google review to be an account of the experience (I have two family members to confirm as they we with me for the move). I'm not making a claim, but an account of what happened. Before marble top table, and after marble (no marble) top table.

Rob and Curtis moved my elderly parents last week and they were amazing! They were timely, professional, and made sure to follow all covid safety precautions. They eased my parent s stress of moving and hiring them was so worth it. This is a great company that I highly recommend to anyone looking to move!

Place has great food been there twice once for breakfast and dinner,prime rib was excellent and flavorful!

This is my first review on Google, but I'm tilted enough to write one: I scheduled a move with this company and nobody showed up...

All calls went to the corporate office since the local office wasn't open on Sunday. Within a three hour period (after the scheduled move time), I called 4 times and was informed that I would receive a call within the next hour. I also spoke with the boss "Matthew" from corporate and he said he couldn't give me an ETA but was going to start calling cell phones. Not sure if I can believe that, but I'll take it for what it is. Either way, I didn't receive a single callback. This is very bad business. I would suggest that you maintain an open log (within your company) so you can respond with something other than "I don't know" when a customer asks if someone is going to show up at their house or not. It's the year 2018 where so much information can be uploaded to private web servers where you can easily track this stuff. No excuses.

The response is correct. It did take me all this time to finally prepare the insurance documents and truth is this is no longer about that. It is about making sure people looking for a "proper" moving company look elsewhere.
From the beginning this was doomed.
I paid for a pack and move and what I got was a late, pack intercommunicating rude broken item move.

Day 1, movers got to the house unaware they were going to pack my belongings. Their response, "they should have sent packers 1st" which I found out was wrong information.
Then they only brought a mid-size truck and needed to send a 2nd group the next day because this 1st group was done by 7pm. I spent all day calling asking for them to please send out another truck and more help only to be met with an attitude and rude comments aimed at my wife from Ginger...I left messages for owner Linda Dubberly and never, not once did I get a call back. A lot of back and forth with their office manager and nothing.
2nd shift got there the 2nd day and had no idea how much they needed to do. I need to be out of the house by 1pm, didn't leave till 7pm.
I was given a delivery date and that was wrong/late Hence the $300 taken off the total bill.
Now for the good stuff...
They finally arrive and not only did they show up at 8pm to "unload a load" but had many damaged items.
I had boxes that smelled like Urine (Yes URINE).
Soaked water boxes.
1- 46 inch LCD TV slashed like with a razor.
My daughter's twin bed broken in like 7 areas.
Soaked mattresses.
Wife's missing China set (still missing)
Younger daughter's dresser had missing legs.
My oldest daughter's TV dresser looked like it took a hammer.
Book stands were off balanced; nothing was the way it was packed.

And the topper? This was only the 1st load.

So not only did they pack my belongings in 2 loads but didn't bother to tag it all together.
5 days later, load 2 arrives and same situation.
Damaged boxes, furniture bike, grill etc etc.
they even tried to give me a box and items that were clearly marked for another load/family.

People when I say look elsewhere for moving services, I mean LOOK ELSEWHERE."

Recently, I accompanied my friends The Barnhills to their storage facility on Thursday April 29th and I must say JB and his crew packed the storage very neatly. I was amazed at their work. Personally, I've used moving companies before but never seen the movers take care of my things unattended. I now know who to call for my next move! Great job fellas!!!

Also, I contacted the company in a panic on Friday afternoon after another company failed to show up 3 days in a row and they were able to fit me in on Monday.

This company is a joke. If they tell you they will be there at 10am, expect 10pm. If they give you a quote, go ahead and double the price. Worst service ever. This company made our move 10x more stressful than it had to be.

This company is everything, but a moving company! They must higher their movers from eviction companies or even waste management!!! RUN RUN RUN as far as you can away from ALL MY SONS Moving and storage. Too bad I can't add the pictures to my review, you would cry for me if you could see how ALL MY SONS trashed my furniture among it a Robb & Stucky cabinet and East Indies Cabinet trashed, a toaster destroyed beyond use, a designed lamp totally destroyed, mattresses dragged over floors and banded beyond use, art work damaged. I had to pick up furniture pieces from the front lawn next morning. I paid $ 300 additional insurance to an insurance company recommended by ALL MY SONS. After the insurance company received some moving information which are not disclosed to me, the insurance company offered me $ 110 for repairs, that just covers one small repair, I am left to pick up ALL MY SONS trash. Run Run Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are always late for hours, a move that was estimated less than 4 hours takes 10 hours. They threaten you upon arrival with a different price and the additional insurance you take out upon their recommendation they tell you that they don't accept the insurance - same insurance that offered me $ 110 settlement. when you call they go to lunch and let you hang in the waiting line. I wish I would have read all these negative reviews they are all so true.

Amazing experience moving to our new home! Jeremy B, Andrew and Krystin were outstanding! Not only did they do a great job wrapping up our keepsakes and belongings but they were very helpful in packing our storage unit to make all our things fit neatly. They were all very professional and made us feel good making our move down to Florida. We will definitely be requesting to use this crew in November when we are done building our home.

This company was absolutely HORRENDOUS to deal with. They basically took all my belongings hostage and when it was all in the truck told me the quote was higher and refused to unlock the truck until I paid. Almost criminal if you ask me. After a dispute in my driveway they agreed to the original quote however, in the process they broke a light fixture. Afterward they said if you don't buy the extended insurance they pay by weight only so a $400 chandelier was worth $15. They banged up walls and then put my son's bunk bed together not using all the bolts and it was horribly unsafe. NEVER, EVER use this company... I'd move my whole house on my own versus deal with such a company.

The great packing team packed everything well and safely. The moving / unpacking crew went the extra mile to get the last pieces packed, everything loaded, moved in and put back together. Recommend them all.

This is the second time I have used all my sons for moving household furniture and they are fantastic. Neat, clean, professional and friendly and very efficient at what they do. One other feature is we had a few extra pieces as an add-on and they accommodated us no questions asked. I highly recommend all my sons for anyone that has future moving needs.

Great moving company and excellent movers. They were fast, efficient, and took great care to move all of our belongings including my piano. Very happy with the service. Expected it to take about 6 hours and it took 4.5 hours total including the drive across town to our new home. These guys were able to do a next day move for me when I was in a serious bind. Louis was awesome to work with over the phone and set up the move perfectly. Justice, Mateo and Tracy showed up on time after already completing another move that morning and worked until 7pm on a Saturday night to complete my move. They were nothing but smiles and polite the entire time. They wrapped all my furniture and made sure everything was protected. I m almost totally unpacked now and haven t found any damage. Terrible company, only move 2 miles and they broke multiple items. Workers are subcontracted labor, drug addicts and lazy. They offered $30 settlement, what a joke. Learn from my mistake and hire someone else.

All My Sons did a great job, nothing scratched or broken. They were on time and very polite and easy to work with. I have used them before and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Moved awhile ago by this company and have been meaning to write a review about the great experience I had with this company and the employees. One employee that really stuck out and went out of her way to make sure my delicates where pack properly ( did not have to worry about sentimental breakables) was Charisse. On top of everything I remember being excited about the relocation and she suggested some get places around my area in which I live to visit! 10 out of 10 would recommend this company and the people that I encountered.

I originally gave a 4 star review after the team that came to load my items were so amazing. I changed my review to 2 stars after the delivery of my items. I typically do not like to leave negative reviews, but I was so disappointed. I believe the big issue came from the storing of my items for 4 days. Some of my items were severely damaged and could not be fixed. When the items arrived at my new house- my antique curio cabinet was broken, buffet table was broken, TV was busted. The only item that I was told about was the buffet table. When I asked about my curio cabinet I was told that one of the managers leaned on it while checking my items and busted the glass. I did not discover the tv until after they left when I unwrapped it. They were 4 hours late, and did not deem it was necessary to call me. They were pulled over by DOT for a busted tail light ( or caution light )Upon moving items into my house they gouged my wood floors and the wall. I was so disappointed in the lack of communication, which showed how little they respected me and my property. I know accidents happen- I could get past that- but the complete lack of disrespect for me, was unacceptable. I am now in the process of opening all the items to see what else could be damaged and to file the insurance claim form. Fingers crossed that this nightmare will end soon.

I would NOT recommend All My Sons Moving and storage. The price that they quote you is about half of what you end up paying. The two moving men were pleasant enough, however they broke both of my large flat screen t.v.'s. Even though I saved both tv boxes and original packing material they chose not to use and just used a moving blanket and tape. I heard a large snapping sound and when I asked the mover about it, asking if he dropped the tv, he said it was the tape snapping.
Sure. Then when trying to get replacements their insurance company offered 55 dollars and change. The operations manager kept promising a different solution, over weeks, and nothing. We are now speaking with the BBB. Amongst others. Be warned...it seems as though seniors aren't necessarily taken seriously. Bad move.

Poor quality and had some items stolen with no help from the company with resolving the issue whatsoever!

They was out here working in Legacy Gateway and I needed help with some heavy items. Jb saw me and offered to help me out. He took time from his work to attend to me. AMS you have a good worker. Don t let him slip away. I didn t have any money on me to show my appreciation. So he told me it was ok and not to worry about it. We recently had the pleasure to use All My Sons Moving. We have moved several times over the years and this was our best experience ever. I would highly recommend this company.

This is the WORST company. Be Warned. They stole our belongings and destroyed our belongings. Worst experience from day 1 and still the case, 8 months later. Filing a claim was a joke. Their offer was $200 and I had to remove my negative on-line posts. I declined their offer and I continue to warn people to stay far, far away from this company. I am only giving 1 star b/c it doesn't allow me to give 0 stars. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY.

overall was a good experience. I was super nervous moving since it is such long distance. Guys were on time picking up, stuff came the day they said it would (although was supposed to arrive in the morning but ended up being afternoon - but not a big deal, traffic happens and to be expected on such a long move); they were really communicative to let me know they would be a little late. No surprises when it came time to pay the bill, everyone I dealt with was professional, and nothing arrived damaged or missing! Would use them again and I highly recommend.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! If you notice on their website they have reviews posted from all different franchises and not customers that dealt with their location - Jet Port road in Lee County, Florida. Patrick Redfern is one of the most rude individuals I have ever dealt with. This company LOST half of my items on my move from Florida to Pennsylvania!!!!! They delivered what was left of my items 2 WEEKS AFTER they said they would. Every time I called to see where my things were they would transfer me from person to person with everybody saying I DON T KNOW . I contacted the Federal department of transportation after my things were delivered late and was told I should ve notified them when my delivery was not delivered on time because it is ILLEGAL for moving companies not or abide by contract as it is considered holding ones possessions as hostage. When the movers did arrive I was told the truck broke down . Everything must have been sitting out in the heat for days because all the soles of my shoes came unglued. Many valuables were missing such a jewelry , Dyson vacuum cleaner , dishes , paintings ..... approximately 5,000 dollars worth of my stuff was GONE!!!! They have the crappiest insurance where they only pay 10 cents per pound of missing items and you have to have receipt and picture of item. If you listen to anything I say AVOID THIS COMPANY. Also look at their Better Business Bureau rating - it s an F!!!!!
Just to add .... I got an email from All My Sons after posting this review and they had the audacity to tell me all my things were delivered and they did nothing wrong....... COMPLETE LIES ..... I called them to ask why they posted lies about my move and once again just like when they didn t know where my truckload of all my furniture .... was they put you on hold forever and nobody can help you.. Even their corporate headquarters in Texas does the same thing - they won t help you just tell you hold on and then put you on hold. If you don t believe anything I write look on the better business bureau and their F rating. Beware because they will lose and damage all of your belongings. Total sketch outfit from corporate down to the franchise itself. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS SHAM OF A MOVING COMPANY!

Movers don't clean up after themselves. Movers left their empty Gatorade bottles sitting on an enclosed electrical unit in between the neighbor's house leaving the neighbors to clean up after them. What a great way to introduce yourself to the neighborhood by leaving your trash behind! T

Would not recommend this company to anyone. We moved about 10 minutes to a brand new home and every single piece of furniture moved has been destroyed and they have wrecked our new home. Also our new tv has a cracked screen. Guys were worthless and what was quoted a 3 hour job took almost 9 hours for 3 guys. Poor communication between the guys led to having to make 2 trips and furniture destroyed all due to having issues between each other first thing in the morning and then they decided to take it out on our furniture. We yelled at the guys to stop pushing the couch through the front door because they were going to tear the leather and they didn t listen and forced it through the door and ended up ripping the leather and messing up the door frame. The workers response was sorry, insurance will cover that . It s already stressful enough moving and then having to deal with all of our furniture being destroyed and our new home having scratches and gouges everywhere is ridiculous. Wouldn t even give this company one star. Stay Away!

On time and very professional. All of my items were moved from one residence to the next without a scratch or tear. The guys were very courteous and pleasant to work with. The move went well.

They moved us from Tampa to Dallas. This was our first long distance moving experience & they were great. From packing our electronics & wrapping our furniture to pick up & delivery of our items everything was wonderful. The timing worked out perfectly as far as when we got there & when our furniture arrived. Everyone we dealt with - from the office to the packers & movers - was super nice & professional. Thank you again - everything was great!!

First things first is I felt like a hostage as they would not unload any of my belongings till I signed the waivers, and insurance waiver based on .60/per pound when I wanted full coverage and stated it to the Moving Consultant, Ray Wood and the Driver. The team destroyed a leather sectional couch breaking the leg completly off the frame of the couch where it is now totally un-repairable. As well took a dresser and smashed in the bottom and dented the front drawers. The move was less than 10-miles from a rental home to a permanent home and the lasted over 9-hours and we had everything boxed, taped and ready for the move. They took a break every 20-minutes as well wanted to chit chat with us everytime they came in the house to take another item. THEN with three items remaining wanted to get paid OVERTIME based on a QUOTE from Ray Wood. This company and the game they play by keeping you hostage to sign off on the paperwork before unloading is a SHAM and a DISGRACE to teh moving companies. Now I have a leather sectional couch that is destroyed and useless that I will have to PAY SOMEONE to get rid of it. COMPLETE JOKE AND MY BELONGINGS DESTROYED!!!

The generic answer was exactly what I expected from you! YOU FAILED TO DEVULGE THE INSURANCE FACT TILL AFTER MY BELONGINGS WERE PACKED ONTO THE TRUCK! The Driver admitted this as well after arriving at the new home...THEREFORE the hostage situation takes place...YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS THEN SIGN AND WE WILL UNLOAD. I specifically went through this with RAY WOODS your moving consultant in person prior to the move. I will call you and see what we can resolve and hopefully get restitution on this mater.

I had no choice but to choose one star but should be zero! Several things were broken and several stolen... making an insurance claim is impossible because it is a joke. They make you do everything online and it's a ridiculous site not user friendly at all! That's by design so you won't make a claim! A collage picture of my grandchildren was broken and then the glass was thrown in the middle of my landscape bushes to hide!!!! Alcohol was stolen which they are not supposed to pack in the first place and also an iPod was stolen. Terrible service!!! Don't use

KC and Edwin with all my sons were very efficient, nice, and had a sense of humor! Would recommend to anyone who needs a move. Called Tuesday and was set up for Thursday afternoon like I needed it to be! Great service!!
I forgot to mention, Dan is amazing. Always on the ball! Set everything up. And Ashley in the office was great as well! Great team effort! Thank you again All my sons!

Wouldn't refer them to anyone, paid 900.00 up front, put into their storage .

Hundred and fifty a month there after. They knew they would have 90 to 120 days before I began to pay and have it delivered out of the area.

I called, no response, left msg to start paying. Gave them debit number and all...everything was brand new...I lost it all...never a call, a letter, a bill...my paperwork was in a box that was packed and they took.

Salesman was a decent guy, the guys picking up and packing were decent guys...I lost everything, over 8000.00 of clothes, tools, furniture, books,all new kitchen items...much much more.

Ar my age I will never be able to recoup and replace my loss.

My mail has been forwarded ever since...Nothing from them.

I'm on social security, cant buy anything now....do not use these people.

Bad experience. Be very careful.

I am going to believe that there has been a terrible mistake somehow.

When I arranged the move and storage and paid all requested funds to start, 100.00 at appointment, 800.00 when picked up.

The answer was that they had reached out humorous times via invoices, email, telephone...I have had the same phone all along, had my mail forwarded to the post office, and I had spoke early on with a receptionist giving a debit card number for automatic debit...However it PLEASES me that they asked me to call and they would work out payment arrangements and deliver...MAKES ME VERY HAPPY AND PLEASED. After suffering a heart attack, stints...this outcome is like a godsend.
IF THEY DO AS THEY SAID AND GIVE ME A FAIR MONTHLY PRICE AND GIVE ME MY HOUSE GOODS....I SAY BY ALL MEANS USE THEM, THEIR WORD IS GOOD! I PRAY IT IS.
