Modern and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The ...

Modern and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The park Hyatt can be difficult to get to ( 45 min plane ride from male plus 30 min boat ride) but the southern atoll is very much worth it. With calmer water, you get better snorkeling and nicer beaches.

This hotel is set on its own island with about 50 bungalows, both on land and over the water. The overwater bungalows are modern and clean with private water access. Unfortunately the AC has a bit of a hard time keeping up in the mid day sun so it can get a bit warm. The rooms on the island are mostly all set back from the beach in the trees giving you cooler rooms but lacking views.

Food was okay overall, the staff will do whatever they can to make sure you have a great time and can accommodate special requests which is nice ( we asked for cheese cake which was not on any of the menus and they has no issues making a cake for us ). That being said, the food is also not amazing for the price. Some credit has to be given to the reality that everything needs to be flown in.

The resort overall has plenty of space for you feel like you are on a private island but also does not feel empty. There are the usual activities and fitness centers you would expect with a number of complimentary options like sunset yoga on one of the jetties.

The price for most everything is on the high side and I struggle believing it is worth it. It is unfortunately comparable in price to many of the other premium resorts in the Maldives though. There was nothing at all disappointing about my stay here and I would happily recommend it to others as well.
