I have been a member since 2007. Most of that time I have lived out of state. The customer service has always been very helpful every time I have called and has always resolved any problems I have have. Most has been my fault.

I have been with Align for years (about 5 at this point) and I am planning on leaving. The service here is AWFUL. Myself and other members have had cards shut off when traveling on vacation (even when the bank was warned ahead of time), they're customer service is terrible as it is clear that no staff really cares about customer issues/experience, and the online app/website is just clunky and a challenge to use. At this very moment I have been trying to use their Live Chat option, but the thing is basically a dead link that won't take me to any help.
I'm all set with Align. I haven't seen any positive change, so I'm leaving.

Poor customer service is an understatement. I was yelled at on the phone by one of their Employees, Jennifer Osorno who eventually hung up on me for asking a question after she gave me incorrect information in writing.
While their rates are affordable, the knowledge of the staff is very limited. Only focus on single family loans with very little complexity when working with them. For any serious transactions including complex loans or even checking accounts, please just spare yourself the trouble and go to one of the many other financial Institutions around.

Very poor customer service, I have been a customer since 1990. Over the years Align credit has endured many changes, names, policies and service changes and I stayed. But I have to say in recent years I have experienced very poor customer service and poor follow up on Multiple occasions. I've also had issues in the past with, online Banking, Credit cards not functioning correctly, holding Payments. The credit union is owned and supported by its members and I believe they have forgotten that. I'm sad to say You should not allow them to manage your funds or credit needs as you will be repeatedly disappointed. I've already moved else where with another credit union so I understand and see the difference in quality and customer service. If your having or had problems at Align Credit union your not alone.

Andrew Patton who deals with business lending at Align has been a great source of information on all things business lending from lines of credit to loans. Also thank you to Andrew for introducing me to the personal side of Align credit union which saved me thousands on an auto loan. The people at the Danvers Align branch were great to work with and very helpful.

I have been banking with Align for a couple decade...

I have been banking with Align for a couple decades ever since it was Northern Massachusetts Telephone Workers Credit Union and I must say that they have been more than helpful with several loans that I have needed over the years. The interest rates are surprisingly reasonable! I was initially disappointed when I recently went for a loan only to find out all that was needed was a paper that was missing in order to process. They have been more than helpful and I am forever grateful to Align!

IDK what people expect from a bank...have them put...

IDK what people expect from a bank...have them put money in your account? I put my money in there and I get access so they meet that need, but I'd rather work with a local bank/cu than a larger offshore, foriegn run bank. In dealing with issues like hacked credit cards Align has been great in closing those hacked credit cards and making sure I wasn't responsible for fraudulent purchases. As I said, what else would you expect them to do?
