Great fast quality work. As a women it's important to me to not feel taken advantage of. I can't tell you how much i appreciated their professionalism and commitment to the customer experience. I will be going back for a long time!

I really can't say enough good things about Alexander's! The owner Alex is always in the office with a huge passion of taking care of customers and cars the right way the first time. They will not tell you to buy something if you don't need it either. You can truly trust this shop and I've never said that about any shop before. I'm a customer for life and so is my family! I swear by this shop and their ethics which is hard to find now a days. They also do 100 days no interest financing with SNAP for those of us that end up with an unexpected big bill too. Truly can't say enough thanks for all of the work they've done on mine and my family's cars!

These guys were amazing. The prices were fair, they drove me to work and picked me up at the end of the day and when I called to see my car was doing, they answered the phone, "Hi Tracy!" This was my first visit there! They're so great, it'll almost make you hope for car troubles!

I've come here twice and both times the people who work here have been really helpful. One time they even told me that they didn't need to do service on my vehicle and they sent me to the right place to address my issue. They could have got me for a whole lot of money because I didn't know what was going on with my car but they were honest and helpful.

If I could give Alexander's a 10 star rating I Would! These guys are so awesome. We have been there several times and today my husband went in to have a lug replaced on our vehicle and while he was there he remembered that the brake light was out so he had them replace both the lug and light. The mechanic originally quoted my husband 50 to 80 dollars. When they were done Alexander shook my husband's hand and told him no charge since we are repeat customers! Would recommend him highly!

I have lived behind Alexander's for a few years now and I wish I had come here to auto service for my families cars. Recently I purchased tires from Discount Tire accross the parking lot for my daughter and she needed an alignment done as well. Alexander's coordinated well with DT to get my service done quickly. When the car was in the lift, Oscar showed me some suspension issues I needed to address and some he said coils be put off. I'm grateful that they fixed these items for my daughter's car. I was AMAZED at the low price and appreciate some extra things they took care of at such a low cost.

Alexander communicated well with me from quote to pick up. The front office was very clean, infact the employees wore masks, used a plexi barrier at check in/out and sprayed my key clean! I will now come here with our four high mileage family cars for simple oil changes to major service. I'm glad they're in the neighborhood. Thanks!!!

I called in a panic one afternoon when my Jeep Grand Cherokee started making a horrendous sound after I dropped my son off at Pre-K. I pulled over several times on the way home to check the car out of extreme concern. I had other drivers giving me funny looks and ridiculous hand signals. I called a few businesses that popped up on Google and they couldn t squeeze me in for several days. When I talked to Alexander I was quite upset. He urged me to drop it off right away even though he was busy as well. The place was packed with other cars when I got there with a short line. Within an hour he called me to let me know it was ready. There was a small rock in the brakes, which he saved to show me. When I tried to pay he told me it was FREE!!!! Alexander is a good man (honest, kind, helpful). I ll definitely be back when I need service in the future. THANK YOU.

Lifesavers! I live in Las Vegas and was going home. I noticed a leak/crack in my radiator. Other places declined because of time of day. Alexanders Auto Repair told me to bring it in and promised it would be repaired. Excellent customer service, excellent repair service, integrity and price was great! Thank you!

Amazing business!

After experiencing catasrophic engine failure (blown crank case), I called various places to get a quote on repair/replacement. I was initially disheartened by the quotes that I received from other repair shops and figured I'd just have to take the loss and get a new car.

A coworker, who has been maintaining his truck for years with Alexander's Auto, put me in touch with him. I received an great estimate, which was roughly half the cost of the quotes I had received from other shops. Repairing the car, instead of replacing it, quickly became an option.

There were no hidden costs or surprises. Alexander was able to provide an exact "to-the-penny" quote before any work was done once the vehicle could be reviewed directly.

Once approved, the vehicle was towed to the shop (Wednesday), the engine was ordered and arrived the following Tuesday and work was completed the very next day. Literally just 7 days from concept to completion on a =full= engine replacement (and most of time was shipment and delivery of the engine). Belts, hoses and any other engine related components were also included in the work performed.

Alexander is =very= thorough, honest and pleasant to deal with. I have peace of mind with the provided warranty and I honestly would not recommend another shop after the service I received from Alexander and his crew. My car hasn't performed this well since I bought it brand new off the lot nearly 10 years ago.

Absolute best repair shop I ve ever dealt with. And one of the best businesses I ve ever dealt with in general. Incredibly honest with fair prices and excellent communication.

My girlfriend and I brought our van here while on a long road trip because the van wouldn't start. We thought it was the starter but it turns out it was a wiring issue. They quickly got to the bottom of it, explained what was wrong, and went through the prices and why they were priced that way. We weren't necessarily pleased with the price, but these guys seem really fair and don't try to gyp you off. Excellent customer service, very friendly.

Alexander s is the best auto repair shop I ve ever dealt with. They are talented and honest group of experienced mechanics. My first experience with them was fixing a hard-to-diagnose issue on my 2004 Mazda. Oscar spent multiple hours over at least 3 separate visits trying to recreate my issue. The entire time, he would educate me on what he was doing so that I could research further myself. Then, when they discovered the issue, they made the repair at a fair cost and patiently answered all my questions to make sure I was comfortable. Now, I bring all our family vehicles there and recommend them to my friends and coworkers and every time I make a visit, they go out of their way to show how much they appreciate my business. I can t recommend this place enough!

Someone from my church was given a quote by AAA that totaled $2000. I told her to go here and they told her she was being told to replace things that werent bad and didn't need fixed. $585 and she was out the door. Saving nearly $1500 in one visit. This is just one of many stories like this that my family has encountered with this amazing shop. We will never go anywhere else. We are so impressed with their honesty and integrity.

I am willing to give these guys another shot. BUT I took my car up there because I needed an alignment and they said I need a lower arm control replacement for $700 additional dollars. They were very kind I took my car home and said I'd come back in two weeks to get it done. My mechanic friend looked at it and said I needed a new axl - not the lower arm controls - and that they were likely just trying to upsell me. I don't know if that's the case but just be sure to maybe get a second opinion on a big repair!

I went here in February based on a friend's recommendation and had to have my alternator replaced. They were quick and informative and didn't overcharge me. Yesterday, my check battery light came on and the system said, "check charging system" so I took it in today and had them check it out. Turns out the alternator was bad, but under warranty, so they replaced it and installed it for no charge. I'm so pleased with their customer service. Definitely coming back if I need more work on my car.

Alexander and his Mechanics are God sent! My whole family has gone to them for at least 10 plus years and I was referred to him last yr to replace my transmission. It has the lowest miles, great price/warranty and my vehicle has been running well. Last week my battery went out on me so I replaced it and later found out it was the alternator, I called Alexander, asked him his thoughts, he said bring the vehicle in and they would look at it. This was later in the afternoon, Alexander and his wonder team had me up and running in a few hours and I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere!! I am so grateful to Alexander, hes kind, respectful, professional and I cant say enough about how knowledgeable and time efficient everyone is. I highly recommend them!! I brought my 2006 Nissan xterra here based on a recommendation from a trusted friend of mine. I could not have been more pleased with the service I received. Not only were they friendly and knowledgeable, but they also did they work in a timely manner and all for a wonderful price! I have been mechanic hopping for a couple years now because I either felt like I couldn't trust what they were saying or they charged an arm and leg. I no longer have to do that. I will go back to alexanders in a heartbeat!

All the guys here get it and what good old school customer service entails! So many places forgot how to treat a customer, but not Alexander and Oscar. They truly exemplify what stellar service is all about!

They were able to handle several different major issues with my car, from air conditioning to electrical, and safety issues. They seem to have someone for every thing! As a single mother I have run into a lot of scams. I pray there be no more ever. But this group of people answered all my questions w/o making me feel bad for asking. I give Alexander and Oscar 5 stars along with my excellent comments for always taking such great care of me and my Volvo. A nightmare started when my Serptentine belt and water pump broke only 29,000 miles after being replaced by Triple A. Alexander worked together with Triple A to make sure Triple A replaced the dead engine and was with me the whole time until this ordeal came to an end. Alexander found my replacement engine, provided me continual support all the way to the end. I trust them completely and refer them to my friends and family whenever the opportunity comes up. Thank you Alexander and Oscar and staff, I appreciate all of you very much!!!

I had seriously neglected some major work needed for our car and found myself in a time crunch in trying to find a place to do the work. While the price wasn't the cheapest I was able to find around the East Phoenix area, I decided to go with Alexander's shop based on the strength of the reviews. Given my rating, you can bet that I didn't regret the decision. I found Alexander personally ensuring the car received the car it needed promptly and efficiently. More so, my impression of the shop, its owner and staff, conveyed only the highest standard of customer service and professionalism. And they have a Keurig coffee machine in the lobby/waiting area, sweet! Great service, exemplary professionalism and expertise, I will definitely bring my car in here should I need any kind of service in the future.

Great shop, super friendly and helpful. I worked at a mechanic shop for four years so I know some of the horror stories about what shops can do and I'm always apprehensive about trying a new shop. This place was good they were honest and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I really appreciate their professionalism and will only use them while I'm in the Phoenix area.

I took my Dodge van in to have the transmission looked at. They called me about what needed to be repaired when they said they would. They fixed it quickly. no surprises or drummed up repair. They were fair and affordable. I am very pleased!!!

When talking about Auto repair, you always hear about value and finding people that you can trust. Alexander, Oscar and team have proven over the years I have been a customer that they strive to be the best auto shop in Arizona on a daily basis.

Highly recommend this auto repair shop! They are very friendly, honest, and affordable. I showed up on a Monday morning without an appointment and they were able to take a look at my car, diagnose the problem, order parts, and fix it all within a matter of 8 hours... the quote they gave me was exactly what I paid, no hidden or inflated fees. Was recommended by a friend who took his vehicle there for service, so glad I took his advice. Brakes, oil change, maybe. But any major repairs, please go somewhere else. There's a reason why locals call this place, "The merry go round", cars leave, and come right back the next day. ****In response to your response, I will never take any of my cars back to you. Too many times have I been ripped off by your company, and left to take my vehicle to another mechanic to fix what you claimed to have fixed. You are correct in that it has been over 3 years since I've taken my car to you. Ask yourself why? Thanks, but no thanks.***

I have been to Alexander's several times in the past year for a couple different vehicles and they always do an amazing job. They're helpful, honest, and will probably beat any price in town. They also offer to drive you home or to work if you need it. I cannot recommend them highly enough; if you need your vehicle worked on you owe it to yourself to come here.

NOT RECOMMENDED ,,,,, I gave it half a star but there is no half star, a week ago I took my car to a diagnosis to find out that it was failing, they said that one day they occupied to check my car, we left it one morning and 2 days passed and they did not give us any answer about my car, my husband dialed and when he asked to know if the car had been checked they left him on hold and then hung up his call, until we went to the workshop and there they told him that they had not checked it yet that for the afternoon On the third day they were going to have an answer, and at noon they dialed to tell my husband that it was not convenient for him to fix it because he had two serious problems and that we had 4,500 to fix it, in the afternoon I went for my car and something strange that I look at It was that they still had him checking and I paid for the diagnosis so that they would give it to me, when he gave me the car, a worker from the workshop approached me to tell me "to tell my husband to communicate with his employer, the owner of the workshop, why he he was interested in my ca rro "from there I was sure that I could not expect anything good from that workshop, (they recommend my husband not to fix it, but if they were interested in my car) when I took it to a mechanic specialized in transmissions who said that these from the Alexander workshop were fine p @ $ &% * # & # ,,,, that he was in charge of fixing it and there that mechanic realized that the workshop people disconnected the air conditioning so my car was worth less in case I sold it to him .. ... my car was fixed for only 500 dollars ... God have mercy on the rat people what the owner of the workshop does not know is that many people who took their car there realized what they did to us, and now They have a new mechanic.

These guys go out of their way to treat their customers right. I have been a customer of theirs for the past 6 years and would never go anywhere else as long as I live in the Phoenix area. They give 110% all the time, two thumbs up to Alex, Oscar and the crew.

I've been going to these guys for over a year now. I came in one day with a stripped tire nut that was broken by Walmart Tire Center over on dobson, when I was trying to get new tires from them. I then took my car over to Alexander's to get it fixed. These guys were so nice, they didn't even charge me to fix it, because I've been a loyal customer. They wil go out of their way to give you the best service. I understand it's so hard to find good people these days. But, I literally broke up in tears when they helped me on that day when Walmart screwed me. They have an excellent car service. The guy who drove me is really friendly. I was absolutely blown away on how good they are. They got everything fixed, I got my car back that day and I recommend these guys to anyone. It's a handshake and an honest bargain.

This place is amazing. They are honest and give great rates. They hardly never make you pay full price for your service. When I moved to Phoenix in 2011 this shop took care of me and gave me great rates. If you stay loyal to them they will always give you a great price on any issue on your vehicle.

I think this is the first place I've been to that physically showed me the issues in my car and thoroughly explained them, making sure I understood. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, I appreciate that.

I took my 2005 jeep grand cherokee to get the Rear main seal fixed cause of a small leak and they quoted good price so i accepted. When they returned my car it had an acceliration Vibration that was not there before. I took car back they said it was my muffler something they took off to get to the rear main seal. They stuffed foam pieces around my muffler to secure it. But car still vibrates.so its sometjing else. its now been 4 months vibration is still present. "HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE"

Great shop...not the cheapest in town but Alexander gave me a great deal when the transmission replacement took longer than estimated. Well run shop and Alexander a good guy. If you love your vehicle this is the place.

These guys were amazing! They were nice, helpful, and honest. I've had horrible experiences with mechanics over the past few years. These guys gave me my hope back. Not only did they get my check engine light off, they brought it through emissions for me. And even took it through the car wash. I won't go anywhere else for my auto needs. I would recommend them highly to anyone that asked.

I, hesitated writing a review. These folks are great when you first meet them.Trust that your car will be repaired. Charged me well over $300.00 a week later engine light came back on. When I, called to let them know Alexander became very abusive, telling never call or contact them again. Also if you can't pay the total charges.. And keep the car to resell if you can't come up with what is charged. Glad I had the money for the so called repairs. The engine light never came back on .once I took to a fair and honest mechanic.

Wow! Just wow! I highly recommend them to all. Had to get my car checked out after it was stolen and had issues. Alexander (actual owner name not just business name) heard my story and really helped. Checked everything out on the car before coming back and saying what was wrong. Had a tire replaced next door and these guys put it on for me, saved me time from my day. Oscar was awesome! He explained what I needed easily for me to understand completely. So if your car needs help these guys are number one!

I've got to give credit where credit is due. The owner Alex is a great person all around, and that goes for his employees too. Alex isn't about selling you stuff you don't need. Quite the contrary. He understands that vehicle repairs don't always come at convenient times, so he'll let you know what needs repair right away, and what can wait. He'll suggest replacement parts that fit your needs (not his pocket book), and he even offers financing for repairs! If he needs you to drop your car off for the day, he'll cover the cost of an Uber to your house, and back to get your car! He's a reasonable and knowledgeable man that truly loves his work, and it shows everytime I walk into his front office and I see that huge smile that's always on his face. Alex is all about quality in everything he does. His policy is to always make sure you're happy with the services provided to you! And if you're not happy, he's very reasonable and will make every effort to make it right! He believes that a happy customer is a return customer. And you can trust that your vehicle is in good hands with 24 hour live monitoring and recorded cameras keeping a safe eye on your vehicle. I would definitely recommend this auto shop for all your repairs and upgrades! You get great service and Alex warranty's his work! Give him a shot and I promise you won't be let down!

After seeing so many good reviews online, I went to this shop to replace alternator. After getting back to my office and look at the receipt carefully, I realize that they install a remanufactured unit on my car even without telling me and getting my approval. Very disappointed!

These folks are awesome! Car was next door at Discount Tire. They went and picked it up for me and called within an hour with the diagnosis. Called my warranty company, arranged for a rental car, sent pictures to keep me informed along the way, charged me a VERY fair price, and my car is back in tip top shape. Oscar and the gang are just fabulous. I can't say enough about my experience. Way out of my way normally and no where near where I live, but I'll make the drive to see them the next time I need any service on my vehicles. They set the bar high for all of the others! My advice? Go there!

I have never been to a place where the owner is so willing help out like Alexander's. I first went to Wilhelm on Thomas Rd and was overcharged for a fix done wrong and paid for fixes that I didn't agree on before the repairs were made.Alexander felt my pain and beat wilhem's estimate to make the repair(not knowing wilhelm's price ahead of giving me his estimate). He even gave me a free loaner car and oil change! I think he just felt bad for me, and he wouldn't even take a tip. I will be back for any future repairs! Wow just wow!Great people and service! Great shop, extremely transparent and fairly priced. Highly recommended for just about any car.

They do great work on all types of cars and get jobs done exceptionally fast. I've taken everything from an old Nissan Altima and Jeep, to new a BMW 5 series. They always get everything done in a timely manner and do a great job on it. It's nice to know a good mechanic that I trust and charges a fair rate for their expertise.
