ALEXANDER CHEVROLET Review

A young man, Brandon, helped us pick out and buy an used car for us. He spent many hours with us, looking up different quotes, ect. The whole showroom area stayed open late so we could finalize our purchase. Very personable and knowledgeable young man. Their manager of the oil changes and what not, was a helpful man, also. Awesome as usual. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing for oil change is way below everyone else in town. Full synthetic oil change, 27 point inspection and any fluids was only $49.95. Can't beat the experience anywhere.

I can not believe how wonderful these guys are! They made my daughter and I feel at home, from our salesman James to the general manager, I've never been more satisfied with a big dealership. They treated us like family, and that made the entire experience perfection.

There service center tore my car up!! They didn't fix the problem and ripped up my dash. I have no dash lights now and big holes in my dash from them! They had my car two and a half days and ruined it!!!

Sales was great, but parts is terrible and service is not much better

Happy with everything and all the staff, only thing i was not too happy about was the scratches in the clear coat on a New Truck,,they used dirty towels to wash it and dry it,,already has swirl and wash marks in the clear coat,,other than that as always it was a pleasure doing business with Larry and my salesman, this is the 5th New truck i have purchased not counting my family and friends i sent to Alexander,,I usually stay all day during the process, I enjoy hanging out with all the Crew.

Honestly, I was extremely worried about financing a vehicle for the first time. It had the potential to be a stressful situation. Luckily the professionals at Alexander Chevrolet understand and did everything possible to make sure that my purchase experience went smoothly and stress free. Service dept could not fix air conditioning in my spark. It's under mrf warranty. As well not. Good.

Rude customer service for basic oil change. Took 4 days to get my car back.

I Bought a 2018 CMC Yukon. Seems to be a nice vehicle. Havnt driven enough to get a read on it. The deal went smooth enough all the paperwork was ready for signatures.
Probably only complaint was when I asked the gentleman that was shoving paperwork at me about why the vehicle since it was used was not a certified used with extended warranty? instead of taking a moment to explain why. He said in a very rude manner.
"BECAUSE WE DONT WANT TOO"
This was as I was rejecting the 4000 dollar extended warranty he was trying to sell me. I'm not sure if there was a correlation of these things or not. I suspect so since he had already added it to the price of the vehicle and I made him remove it.
Hey I just ask a simple question right after signing the deal on a 55k vehicle. I didnt ask in a rude manner. I wasn't expecting such a response.
So while I continued with the deal and am sure we got a nice vehicle I won't be a return customer.

Service department staff were friendly and it was a quick turnaround for my window tints!

Very fast service today everyone very friendly it was nice to meet the new service manager who I knew anyway could not ask for a better 30 minutes at the dealership

Best dealership EVER!!! My mother was traveling across country alone, when her suv broke down.. it was towed to Alexander where they were VERY BUSY! But, in spite of arriving with the broken SUV an hour before closing, they squeezed my mom right in and diagnosed the problem and a tech even stayed late to fix it for her!!!! I wish I could give 100 stars!!!! Jason (service manager) was amazing.. thank you guys so much!!!! You guys are literally lifesavers!!!

The pretty lady at the cash window is so sweet and charming and the fellow that helped me in parts does great work and very helpful but when I purchase my next Gmc od need parts I hope that Beautiful lady.is at work she just made my day never have i went to a dealership and actually wanted to by more stuff thank you little missy for the warm and inviting visit

The assistant was very good. Trisha is her name I think at Alexander's in Dickson.good experience. Wish I could afford the computer analysis on my Alero. Limited income senior citizen. Its not likely I get another one in my lifetime.

Had motor problems. Because i didnt have receipts for oil i purchased and changed they couldnt help me unless i paid $7000 to get my motor fixed. I will not recommend or return to Alexander Chevrolet. I had purchased two cars from them .

The night my wife got her Lacrosse, she actually had a heart attack, and was in the hospital for a week. The night we purchased the car from Joe Martinez, one of the tires were low on air that he refilled. Come to find out, the tire had a nail in it that cannot be fixed, but Alexander refused to replace the tire.

Always treated like a valued customer from the moment I arrive. I feel that the service
team is very professional and respectful of my time. A+ rating from me!

After having a horrible experience with Steve Jones Dodge Chrysler dealership, we were weary of continuing to look for a truck. We ended up at Alexander Chevrolet. Alexis met us on the lot. Sales?They may be good but NEVER get your vehicle serviced here and DO NOT buy the service packages or warranties. My last straw is I just discovered my oil was overfilled by at least half a quart. You do NOT put 6 quarts of oil in a 5.3 quart system. Fortunately I've not driven it much and maybe Alexander won't have to buy me a new engine.
They didn't grease the driveline like they were supposed to do (and I paid them to do) either.

EDIT: My vehicle *requires* an oil filter with a check valve so it doesn't have dry startups. I kept noticing a lot of valve chatter after starting and checked the oil filter to make sure it was correct. It wasn't. Three oil changes worth of startup damage because they used a Delco PF53 filter which has no check valve.

We don't have much choice as to where we take our Avalanche, but are pleased that we at least have one dealership close. the personnel were very polite and respectful, answered our questions if they could, some things they didn't know and chalked it up to the age of our vehicle.

I went to Alexander yesterday to work with Shane vandeweghe and it was such a great experience! Any question me and my boyfriend had, he answered or made sure he could get us the answer if there was anything he was unsure of. I tested out about four cars and he was patient during the process. It went smooth and easy and Shane is a really cool guy so if your looking for someone to work with I Highly recommend going to them for anyone

Never bought from the Alexander s before. Don t think I ll do it again. Bought a 2018 GM certified. When I got there the truck was dirty. Bugs all over the front and brake dust on the wheels. When Bobby came out he got an ear full. That I knew could be corrected. We took it out for a test drive when we first turned on the highway I felt the tire out of round and so did my wife. Oh it s been sitting a long time says salesman. What BS. We made what I thought was a good deal for everyone with the provision that it get CLEANED and resolve the tire issue. I guess 1 out of 2 ain t bad. They delivered the truck today clean and shining. When I had time I drove it only to find that the tire shake went from the left front to the right rear. Come on Tony, being a Service Manager doesn t give you the right to lie and cover a tech that don t know his tire from a hole in the ground. Balancing and rotating only moved the bad tire. Not cool.

My service tech Jonathan is great to work with, he knows me by name and knows my truck and what I need when I need it !!! always happy and makes sure I'm taken care of ASAP!!

What I got done there was 1sts class I will be back

I can't say enough good things about Alexander Chevy! We were in a terrible situation and needed a dependable auto asap. They WERE SO HELPFUL!! There was no pressure, and when they ran the numbers- they weren't good (too much owed on trade). They worked with us for three days trying every angle possible until we found one that worked!! I now have a beautiful, dependable Traverse and couldn't be more thankful for the hard work these guys put in for us!!! Thanks Alexander Chevy, we will be back!!!

TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO SERVICES. THEY COMPLETELY SCREWED ME OUT OF $360 AND DIDN'T EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY REPLACED A LEAKING LEFT VALVE AND DUMPED AND REFILLED MY FREON. I BROUGHT MY CAR BACK BECAUSE MY AIR STILL DIDN'T BLOW COLD AIR AND IT WAS GOING TO COST AN ADDITIONAL $260 SO I LEFT AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MY COMPRESSOR HAD WENT BAD WHILE ALEXANDER TOLD ME IT WAS THE FAN RESISTOR SWITCH THAT HAD WENT BAD.

This was my first time using Alexander Chevrolet for routine maintenance on my car. I have to say that this place runs like a well oiled machine. From the time I walked in until I checked out. Professional, friendly people. Waiting room was very nice and comfortable and the wait time wasn't bad either. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Salesman was very polite. But the flow wasnt very smooth. Kind of hectic and lots of people to deal with. Gas was basically on empty. Had to stop before i got home to get gas. Overall decent though!

Service department is horroble. Wife took car in on a saturday because of an OBVIOUS coolant leak and they never even checked it. We got car back when they closed and they left a note with salesperson that they didmt find a leak. 3 days later my wifes car overheats because coolant leaked out. Took the car to Chevy dealershipin Franklin and they found the leak immediately and fixed the problem. ALEXANDER would be the last place i would take my vehicle for repairs or to purchase.

Originally I made an appointment online for service, a simple oil change for Saturday, but problems with the scheduler prompted a call from RJ Blackstone who made sure my appointment confirmation was secured and I did not get lost in the shuffle. Then the unfortunate event of my engine light appearing on the dash and my car going into LIMP Mode! on the long commute home after work several days prior to my appointment. I made a call to the service department, they got me right in that evening, I spoke with Jonathan, who handled my crisis with empathy and understanding and made sure that Alexander put me on the service list the next day ahead of my scheduled appointment. They got my car fixed and the oil change, ahead of Saturday and the crisis was covered under warranty. I was back to work the following Monday in my car! I was happy with the maintenance that was done on my truck the only problem I have is the issue with the transmission dipstick sticking as I had told the maintenance guy about the dipstick would not go in all the way in and get stuck in the neck I had a hard time sticking it in but if a woman wants to check a transmission she wouldn't be able to get it in there
