Loved it! Flowers beautiful, lots of local classic foods. The only thing is that the water didnt look too clea but if you add koi fish to the pond it will not only clear up the water but it will also add to the attraction as well.

The flowers were beautiful but I would have liked to have seen them a month ago. Lots of the flowers appeared to be almost at the end of their 'life". Food selections at the restaurants were very good and reasonably priced.
A must-visit place in The Netherlands. Track blooming time for tulips. It is so crowded during weekends and easter so be really early as 9am or visit during week day. At the end of Keukenhof you can order tulip bulbs from the catalogue directly to your home
Not only tulips: this garden has a variety of flowers (hyacintus, narcissus) in every colour, shape you can think about. There are flower composition made by the most important flowerist in the Netherlands, amenities for children and exposition spaces (which were not my favorite part of the garden). A disadvantage is that very very crowded at any time of the week It is very easy to get there by bus (usually very crowded the one from Schiphol), but in a good day it's worth to get there by bike from Leiden.
Tulips were beautifully planted in the extensive gardens. Just a pleasure to visit. Disappointing that most of the buses, except to Schipol, stop services before 6pm when the gardens close at 7.30pm.
This place is amazing. I spent about two hours there but could've easily spent twice that. I was in Amsterdam on a long layover, and from the airport, you can get a bus directly to the gardens. You can catch it back to the airport as well, and the drive to and from gives you a good view of the Amsterdam countryside and tulip fields. Can't reneger the name of the bus, but it should be easy enough to Google 'cause it's so popular. The buses run every 10 or 15 minutes, so it's pretty efficient.
While the tulips are well maintained indoors, the bulb fields where completely dry by the time we went on 18th May. The gardens were open until the nineteenth and we thought we could experience the complete attraction. However it was a disappointment for us since the most important aspect was missing.
Beautiful place and lots of different arrangements and designs to see. Great for taking pictures with a Dutch or Holland feel. A windmill, large colourful wooden shoes, tulips, it is postcard Netherlands. I it quite busy in the early spring so don't expect a solitude stroll through the park.
Even in the spring, there are still flowers outside. Overall, the place is pretty nice. The park is a bit small. If you are only coming to Stoll or have other places to go, this should only take two to three hours. If you are taking photos and eating, you might as well spends most of the day here. You need a parking and a park ticket. Overall, the sanitation is fine. Nothing extraordinary but certainly beautiful.
I'm not really fond of flowers but still loved this place. It has so many variety of flowers and amazing colours. You will not get bored of it. It is one day thing but you can finish in few hours if you don't take any break.
If there is any definitive place in Holland one must go to see flowers of primarily the tulip variety, but of all varieties, this is a place you have to go. perfectly oriented for couples families entire groups the place is absolutely massive and is well laid out of organised and you can find almost anything you need here. Be mindful of the thousands of photographers and Instagram stars.
Wonderful place full of blooming flowers and of course, the signature - Tulip. Best time to visit is April end as all the flowers will be in full bloom. Expect a lot of crowd on days of the Flower Parade
1. tulip garden 2. treat to eyes 3. needs whole day 4. check seasonal time of opening n closing of garden 5. carry water n chocolates for hunger pangs 6. pick up souvenirs while leaving
This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Not a wilted flower or leaf in sight... Flowers so perfect the seem that they are made out of silk... Colors so bright and different that you could not find the in a color chart. Even as it was super crowded, we were able to enjoy its magnificence. One of my girlfriends said as soon as we walked in and saw its beauty: "This is what paradise must look like". I'm sure she is right!
Great place for flowers lover!!! Reasonably priced. But very crowded and touristy, will be great if have some competition around the area. Still very well maintained. Highly recommended!!! :)
Park and flowers are very nice but infrastructure is terrible. All toilets have queues not to mention the food "trucks" that were just ridiculously busy the whole day with waiting times varying between 15 and 30 minutes. The hygiene is from the food sellers is just disgusting. They use the same hand for cutting bread and handling money, the hand with gloves supposedly to be for hygiene purposes also goes inside the wallet defeating the whole idea.
Visited for the third time this year ....must visit the worlds largest botanical park...the bus from schiphol to keukenhof cost 10 return...and the best time to visit is mid April..
We were at the right time of the year (May) when the Tulip garden was opened for this year. Flowers, Flowers and Flowers....Truly a visual treat. Totally romantic:). Very crowded during the season, but they are well organized. You can spend more than half a day, if you are a flower, photograhpy and selfie lover. Keukenhoff is a Tulip-tical concept place:).
Everyone knows the Keukenhof, so I'll just say what we all know: beautiful flowers, great place to visit with the kids, accessible to everyone and for everything.
I visited in the time of tulip Bloom and it was beautiful. Had a lot of tulips and arranged very well. A lot of trees ensured we could enjoy the tulips in the shade leisure instead of direct sun. It was crowded so reaching early is a good idea
This place was pure heaven. Leave yourself time to explore and get lost - there is just so much to see and enjoy. I was staying in Amsterdam and took train from Central Station to the airport and hopped on the shuttle bus (was easier to find than I anticipated) - took maybe 45 minutes to get there. There is food there but nothing special - so eat before or even consider packing a picnic.
Pretty flowers, terribly overcrowded all day. We went on a Thursday thinking we would beat the weekend rush. If we did, I would hate to see it on the weekend.
Amazing place. The park seemingly goes on forever. The tulips were in peak bloom. Amazed at the many different varieties in spectacular combinations and displays. Lots of people were there but it never felt cramped--plenty of room for everyone. Worth the money...and I'm not that into flowers.
I am sorry to be a spoil sport here, but I must say that for us Keukenhof was a big let down. It started with the bus journey from Leiden station, which by the way, is supposed to be the best way to reach Keukenhof. At the station they tried to stuff as many people as they could in the bus, with the result that there were many people including children standing. Matters got worse when the normal 30 minutes travel time stretched to over an hour. The bus driver was teally rude and he refused to let out the passengers who requested that they be let out despite it being extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. After the gruelling ride, when we finally reached Keukenhof, it was really crowded. While there were few beautiful flowers, the famed tulip fields were nowhere to be seen. They were just ugly brown fields. We saw better tulip fields along the way. The special Van Gogh exhibit can at best be rated as average. Maybe it was the Easter weeekend rush or the hot weather, but we came away from Keukenhof utterly dissapointed. To sum up, I really feel that Keukenhof is rapidly becoming a victim of its own success. I think that one can see better tulip fields in other parts of Holland and Europe and the total cost one pays to visit the place is simply not worth it.
