I think if you are a first-time tourist to the Netherlands, than this is really worth going to. But since I ve been in Netherlands very often, and almost live here, I consider this place to be just another attraction for tourists.
We got here very early (few minutes before opening), just before the huge tourist busses arrived. This gave us an hour to enjoy the place in peace and quiet.
Unfortunately, we were quite early in the season (last weekend of March) and majority of tulips did not bloom yet. BUT you can see a lot of the in the green house. Thanks to that I found my favorite type of the tulips.
There are a number of different expositions to visit as well as few places to enjoy coffee or have something to eat.
It s really nice place to enjoy the nature and smell beautiful smells.

An absolute eyeful. The colors were spectacular. We were there during the peak of tulip season and we had crowds but - it was worth it. We hired a local guide and she was wonderful getting us to everything we needed to see and saving us time. Put this ob your must see list.

We visited this parc last year in April. I was really looking forward to go there and take nice pictures with my cam. In fact it was not worth to see it. Mass of people, high entrance fee and high parking fee, no wow effect.
There is no need to go there as you can see these big tulip fields also outside. There you will find your peace and quiet :)

Stunning Tulip garden with hundreds of various selections. Park is really big, therefore you need at least half a day. There are some restaurants and playgrounds as well. Getting there is very well organised - once you get there, there are designated employees on the road guiding drivers how to get there. Big plus for huge 2 car parks in a open filed on both sides of the park. During the season park is really crowded so it is worth to purchase entry ticket online.

Must wonderful and colorful experience in the world!!! A absolute must see.
Most advisable to visit during April (mid season), as there will be the most flowers on site, and also the most vivid colors

It is a must visit! Tickets are available for purchase anywhere in Amsterdam. Buses are available for regular trips throughout the season. The park is perfectly maintained and hauntingly beautiful!

I took my wife there on our honeymoon and she loved it. You may also purchase seeds/flowers but don't, you can find most of the things in the city for a cheap price.

PS: Make sure you go up the mill!

Lovely place. Tickets can be purchased online. Connectivity from most parts of Amsterdam is present. The entire place is well maintained with so many varieties of tulips and other flowers. There are many eateries and restrooms available inside. There is a kids play area and a little farm which are good entertaining areas for kids.

I loved this place! I was a bit afraid that it wouldn't be any flowers left since we were visiting a bit late in the season, but the park were filled with them! It was just in the surrounding area the tulips have been taken. Me and my More

Best time to come here is a 2+ hours before closing. Most of the people are going out already so you can take closest parking spots and also amount of people in park is reducing so you'll be able to make most excitement photos with your partner of friends.

Amazing place! We went at the very end of the tulip season when the tulips in the fields surrounding the park were all dead. But inside the park it was stunningly beautiful. Yes, some flowers were past their peak but so much was just amazing, and the place is huge. And arriving late afternoon at the end of the season, we had the park almost to ourselves. Wonderful!

It's a vast garden so probably a half day visit would do justice compared to a few hours. Best time to visit would be 3rd to 4 th week of April especially before King's Day. We visited 1st week of May so tulips have been headed mainly in More

Splendid flower garden! If only could they restrict the ticket number sold per day so visitor could enjoy the flowers rather than squeezing thru the crowd, it would be perfect, I am just saying..

I could walk this garden forever <3 Open only for 2 months during the spring you need to plan your visit carefully if you want to see it.
Visiting it will take a full day if you want to see all of it. The variety of tulips is beyond impressive. I'd never seen so many tulips, in so many different colors and color combinations. If you love tulips this is a must; if you don't, you might still want to check it out. It's amazing either way.
Take the bus or train to Hoofddorp where you can get on another bus that will take you to the park. You can also buy tickets at this bus stop.
If you buy your ticket online you can also get a combo to include the bus ride.

Visited on May 12 which is at the end of peak season. It was a very pretty garden, but nowhere near as spectacular as it would have been the week before. Would have easily been 5-stars if I could get there sooner. Transportation to and from was frustrating. Uber is the easiest way.
