High end restaurant, with high end prices, but slightly limited choice (meat, fish and sides) but all the dishes are excellent ( I had the lamb shank which was superb). My colleagues had the fish and chips and the Thai salad. All were good too. Setting is beautiful and would have given 5 stars if there had a little more choice on the menu.

Really nice versatile venue that is perfect for lunch / dinner along with mid morning or afternoon coffee. The clients I have taken there have been very impressed and it beats Starbucks hands down.

I was not happy with the offer menu..there was no chicken. The aircon dint work when london was at its hottest.iy was very uncomfortable and one would think that they would at least offer us complimentary water

Beautiful vaulted ceiling in the bistro. Special January menus are always good value. Service isn't bad, but not outstanding.

Gluten free options are a little basic, but would be nice to have alternatives that one may not get everywhere.

A lovely restaurant with a nice looking bar, the staff were very friendly and attentive, we had a bottle of champagne and the guy behind the bar let me try some of their more unusual gins, which was very nice of them, we will definitely come back, my husband is already planning his business meetings here!

A really great quality place to eat in the city. Eat in the restaurant at the back if you don't like background noise. The menu is really good with lots of classics for even the most limited palette. Not cheap but good value for the quality on offer.

Wonderful location, poor food and wine. A great spot to meet, a large old hall with high ceilings, that impressive dome and ornate windows. Shame the food was so uninspiring. The hake was dry, the cheese course was 3 small lumps of similar More

Went with the set meal option for a table of 6. Very very good service, atmosphere, and food!

Bank holiday special, so we each scored a free drink as a bonus.

The beef carpaccio entree is a standout!! Highly highly recommend you order this dish

Overall the set meal is a really good option ! I recommend it, and would defn go back.

I visited 1 Lombard Street for a business breakfast - originally drawn to the building s grand architecture (inside and out) as a good choice to eat with an American colleague from NY. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience. Our coffees were cold and sent back twice (we waited a very long time for the replacements) and the eggs were mediocre - it was 8am and peak City business breakfast hour (incredibly busy), but still I think this was an unacceptable standard. The service we received was mediocre to poor (considering location and price point). I also personally disliked how close the tables are crammed in. I would not recommend this place for a business meeting or, indeed, a relaxing breakfast - mainly because the ambience doesn t become either of these in my opinion. Like others have said in their reviews, this venue feels tired and a little outdated - almost as if it s hay-day was 15 years ago.

You can choose from many different meals, made with a lot of efforts and love. The desserts are really tasty and I can not wait to go there and try more of them. The service was normal, the atmosphere too.

I don't think I'm qualified to properly rate this place, but Google asked me to anyway. I walked in for lunch and the staff was very attentive. I then sat down with my friends and almost had a heart attack upon seeing the menu prices... I could tell I was in an establishment of the affluent variety, but as a person new in town for only a short time I proclaimed YOLO and went for the lamb chops. Delicious although a bit too much fat on the lamb (I haven't eaten lamb in years so I didn't know what to expect). I also must say the staff treated us very well even though we were the worst dressed in the entire establishment, they even didn't mind that we did not have reservations. It seems like a pretty happening place though as well, it was packed with people.

I was scared to approach the bar because my weak wallet couldn't comprehend what prices may await, but it looked beautiful. The atmosphere was just gorgeous.

Really nice place for a late breakfast with some peace and quiet. The orange juice was served in a glass with a cut crystal band around the circumference in the middle, which always echos The Edwardian Era and is very elegant. The service is of a commensurately high standard and this coupled with the paintings and high ceilings makes for a fine experience in hospitality.

Had a 3 course meal, food was pretty good. The service was a bit slow, but felt it was coz we were forgotten. Since another group ordered same time as us but were on finishing their desserts when our main arrived. Weren't in a rush, so all good though :)
