Extraordinary Vienna museum in a beautiful palace

Extraordinary Vienna museum in a beautiful palace
In addition to the usual collections of paintings, prints and furniture there was an excellent exhibition of Monet and his circle, very well assembled.

Beautiful exhibition - monet and picasso. Bit minimal and a bit overpriced for what it is. Staff is incredibly rude for no apparent reason. Being met with an attitude when purchasing tickets is not a way of treating visitors in my opinion. Maybe they ve had a difficult customer prior to me, but may I suggest you don t take that out on new visitors just trying to enjoy the gallery.

Stupendous, great, a triumph of neoclassical and baroque art, lots of information on the history and the Habsburg houses. Albertina and the Sissi Museum are playing the first place for the attraction wife in Vienna, in my opinion. If I were to go back to Vienna, I would definitely stay there again.

An important museum for art lovers. A permanent exhibition of an early 20th-century art collection on the ground floor. The exhibition is well organized with many (written) explanations, on the top floor alternating exhibitions, Dyer's exhibition is over.

In Albertina, with some incredible taste, they are able to collect expositions, united by one attribute or another into a whole, when the paintings complement each other, revealing the direction or era, and then the exhibition itself, the order of the paintings, the proximity of the authors, their location and lighting becomes an object of art .

Stupendous Museum which houses works subsequent to the Renaissance (located in the Kunst Hinstorische Museum, ie Museum of Art History) until the 1900s (the following works are located at the Mumok, which stands for MUseum MOderne Kunst, ie Museum of Modern Art).
The Albertina owes its name to the noble Albert who was once the owner of the building, and houses beautiful collections and temporary exhibitions. Even the palace itself is a beautiful example of Neoclassical architecture.

In this museum I saw for the second time the works of Monet, which I adore and always excite me! The ticket included other artists! It was a nice experience! If I returned to Vienna I would return to visit this museum! It really deserves!

There is permanent Monet and Picasso collection and also there are always temporary exhibitions like Raphael, Miro and so on.. The building itself is a museum too as it was home to one of the Princesses and her husband, the only love marriage in the family. Sometimes their living grounds (the palace section) are closed due to some other occasions. If you are lucky you get to see the lovely saloons and bedrooms too.
There is a famous Do&Co restaurant in the building but needs reservation as it is very trendy and upscale so gets a lot of attraction not only from museum-visitors but from locals too. You can start your day with a champagne breakfast here and continue with the museum. But reservation is a must.
Museum shop is also very good with good selection of books and objects from umbrellas to erasers. Childrens' section is wide enough wih some English books too.

Monet's life-long paintings spread throughout museums and museums around the world can be seen in one place. This opportunity is rare and unlikely to be planned again. It is also a good idea to listen to the audio, but because the subjective feelings of the audience are very important, I would like you to feel each picture. You can also enjoy the works of Picasso, Kokoschka and Munch. The Museum of Bijou Art History can be boring because there are paintings with strong Christian colors and court paintings. If you are a major, you should stop by!

Kunstbanlene was again in Vienna after 3 years. This time it was even for the Kunstbanausen selbstversandene duty to go here. I was excited again. Great exhibition objects. Could not get enough of all the pictures and sculptures. Detected by himself Monet, Picasso and Rubens. I'll be fit for my old days. Great that there is this towering museum.

Great museum! A good collection, which presents several works of almost all representatives of art of the late 19-20 centuries. And although Renoir only 1 work, but Chagall as much as 5! Go, Do not regret it!

The exhibition on Monet is very interesting.

The exhibition on Monet is very interesting.
An hour well spent to see everything, maybe something more to be able to dwell on the various works.
It was worth the price of the ticket.

The three stars are for the Monet floor, which is great. The rest of the gallery is just ok. Not many other famous pieces here. Some Degas and Warhol is advertised outside, but not on display. Also 16 is a lot for access to the arts, but I'm quickly learning that everything is overpriced in Vienna!

My pick for best gallery in Vienna. Some stunning impressionsist and post impressionsist works in the collection. Also some nice temporary exhibits. A very good cafe for lunch and a drink of your choice on the terrace as well. Centrally located and easy to spend several hours here and enjoy.

A really great museum! We have already been to several occasions and exhibitions and it is rightly one of the best art museums. The exhibitions are superbly prepared and carried out, the audio guides are great and the tours are informative and - even with more familiar topics - exciting. After there was a mistake with the dates of the opening of an exhibition recently and I asked mysterious questions accordingly, the security and the rest of the staff didn't treat me like a madman, but tried to help as best they could and were extremely polite. I really wish more museums were like this!
