The Albertina is a museum in the center of Vienna, Austria. It houses one of the most extensive graphic collections in the world with approximately 65,000 drawings and nearly one million engravings, both ancient and modern.

When we toured through Europe we discovered this was the place for those who loved the Impressionists. Well worth the visit, with lots and lots to see. My advice, book an appointment online and buy tickets, or you will probably wait.

Wonderful, splendid museum. Many styles, exposed paintings of artists who have made the history of modern and contemporary art. The section on cinema prints is also fantastic. Even the only building is beautiful.

Clrearly worth paying a visit if you are in Vienna. I was exceptionally impressed by the collection which included artwork belonging to Monet, Renoir or Tolouse Lautrec, since they are among my favourite artists.
It is a good place to relax especially on a hot afternoon, since the place is very well cooled by the air conditioning systems.

Excellent, very friendly knowledgeable staff. When I was there for an international football match there was an exhibition of Claude Monet's work. Wish I could afford one of his beautiful pictures.

Superb museum with a large number of exhibitions. The exhibitions are well documented. The setup is fine.
Very varied, is not bored at all. The pronkkamers are a nice extra. The museum shop also has nice gadgets.

Art gallery, where I just came across the exhibition of paintings by Picasso, Munch and Coin sensational. Downstairs guest rooms belonging to the Habsburgs. Great, reminiscent of those in the Pszczyna Castle. Personally, I liked the Pszczyna better. In addition, "modern art" is exhibited here, which is canvases painted with five layers of black paint. For art connoisseurs, perhaps an ideal experience, but for the average bread eater who does not see in this "rebellion against the current norms" boredom puda.

If you're in Vienna, you have to visit the Albertina. They have an excellent collection of art from different eras. Lots of Picasso, Klimt and other greats. I personally loved the art of Franz Sedlacek. The Albertina is part of the Vienna Pass too. Overall, if you love art, you'll love this place.

Too many art museums. The extraordinary exhibition of Eduardo Angeli, which I saw when I went in 17, inspired a lot. Vienna is a city of artists, so the exhibition structure is very rich and refined.

Really nice museum with a great impressionalist collection. Recommend buying tickets the day before and then going at 10 when it opens. You'll have the gallery to yourself for 30 minutes or so and walk right in

Very nice museum. Does not require much effort. Equally important. At the entrance you can give coats and bags for maintenance, it costs 2 Euros. But you can go in and downstairs there are free lockers. Put in money and get it at the end. There is also a famous hot dog stand downstairs. Look at him in the long queue

Very interesting, beautiful and well-known pictures and photos, the state rooms are breathtakingly beautiful, Mr. Nitsch is not my case, but that is a matter of taste and therefore should not be a point deduction.

More great art of historical consequence than you can possibly absorb in a concentrated week. If you have only a day, consider this something of a warning. But you might want to go anyway. :-)

A special museum, with valuable exhibits, beautifully renovated and arranged. It is sought after and visited by tourists. It is located near the city hall of Vienna, which is currently under renovation and also has a very attractive park for young people, who relax on the green grass. Also here is the statue of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. To enter the museum you can climb several access roads, including an escalator. At the same time, there is a very elegant restaurant inside the museum. Imposing and elegant. recommend

Always very nice exhibitions to see. I had last booked the Chagall exhibition with a curator and was impressed by her profound knowledge of explaining the characteristics of the respective Kubst eras to laypeople. Would always come back. There are often a lot of people here. I think you have to take the time to take a closer look at the exhibitions here.

The museum was pretty impressive, so many different well known artists on exhibition. It was an easy way to get accustomed to these different artists, even though you shouldn't expect to see their best work here. Especially if it's not local Austrian artists. However, the exhibition that for me stood out, was the Keith Haring exhibition, he was not well known to me personally, but I was impressed by his style and his achievements in his short life.

Exposed to the cold and the wind while we wait to enter the museum. A queue that snailed around the statue. A service-only employee. No one gave information. Groups were coming in as they came in. Iam getting people with tickets bought on the net coming in. Only that line seemed to walk, and no one entered. The wind and the cold we felt was something I can not explain. From time to time some of them would give up and we would walk a little forward. In the museum no one in that line was allowed to enter. After two completely chilled hours I approached the front to question the only collaborator we saw abroad. Completely lost and disoriented. I asked, "When did this line start coming in?" I had no idea .... maybe another two hours .... completely disheartened return to my place in line, ready to convince those who were with me to give up ..... Behold when suddenly and without knowing why they send the my queue We went in and it was the total ecstasy, after that cold wait and without understanding why. Yes, because they left us freezing in the street when we found a counter inside the museum with 5 people selling the tickets but without any queue, without anyone .... This is something that you would like us to explain .... Inside the museum did not lack collaborators .... It is not understood the lack of information abroad .... It is inhumane the way one has to wait to enter the museum, for those who do not have electronic tickets.
That said, about the Monet exhibition, I probably will not have the chance to see it again in my life ..... But if you have some very good paintings, you also have very bad ones .... The rest of the museum leaves a lot to be desired, and definitely not worth the wait!
