Jason Morris is phenomenal! I searched for months for just the right vehicle, and he patiently answered all of my innumerable questions and phone calls - even the seemingly ridiculous ones. He was never pushy or overbearing, and he earned my trust with his chill attitude and good sense of humor. After multiple test drives (and adventures!), we found the car for me. The trade-in process was seamless, and I left knowing I will continue to do business here. It is rare that customer service is so thorough, respectful, and professional. It is such a pleasure to work with Doug Nolan. He gets many of the details taken care of before I show up to sign paperwork and that time saving is great. He listens carefully to what I want and need and then does his best to find me the car that fits. I'm loving my Malibu Hybrid. Gas mileage is between 35 - 40 mpg!!
Price missing on vehicles and some you don't get the employee discount price when you're an employee very discouraging although the people there were very friendly
I was looking for a vehicle after my car was totaled. I did not know if I wanted to purchase new or used, or even what make and model. Al Serra is a one stop shop, and the staff is so helpful. I stopped by a couple of dealers in my local area, one who I purchased my last car from, a couple of weeks prior, It was like it was a hassle for them to let me test drive a vehicle, even tho they knew I needed a car. From the moment I stepped into the facility, to signing on the dotted line. Everyone was so helpful and caring! I will highly recommend Al Serra to everyone, and I know I will be back!!!!

VERY disappointed with this dealership. We drove 2 hours to purchase an older model vehicle. When we got there and tried to make the deal, we were told unequivocally that their price was firm, and they would not budge a dollar. Needless to say, we left, most unhappy with this way of doing business. However, just three days later the same vehicle was reduced in price by almost 100 dollars, and they didn't even have the courtesy to call and let us know. The salesman was Mike Hoy, and we are quite disappointed that he 1) would not work with us on the price and 2) did not let us know when they lowered the price. To my mind, not a customer friendly dealership.
Tom is a great guy and did a great job helping us. I had three cars in mind that I wanted to look at and Tom didn't hesitate a bit to round up all 3 and show them to me. The car I chose needed a few things done to be ready for delivery and he went above and beyond to get them taken care. Great guy!

They got me in for an appointment right away, but didn't tell me the wait would be several hours until I got checked in. I didn't have another ride and had my toddler with me, and they didn't have any loaner cars, but I was able to take the shuttle back home to wait. My driver, Cliff, was great and helped me carry my son's car seat and was very patient while getting my son buckled in. Tasha checked me in and was also very kind and efficient, and I appreciated her honesty that it was a long wait because I've been lied to about wait times at other places before. Overall a good experience considering I wasn't planning on needing a repair at the last minute that day, and despite being very busy, they got me in. My repair was covered by my warranty so I didn't have to pay anything.

ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS!!! The dealership tried to overcharge my warranty company by billing for over what the mechanic book calls for(Yes I have proof) They lied to Chrysler about how much time they were billing for and said they didnt over bill. The dealership(also Chrysler Certified) I orginally bought my van from made me promise to NEVER let Al Serra touch my vehicle again and I wont. Also because I am a woman the phrases, She just doesnt understand how this works and She just cant seem to grasp this were used. SCANMERS!!!
UPDATE: My warranty company is not the problem, your dealership trying to charge over what is allowed to be billed per the book is the problem, you tried to charge 2.4 for a 1.0 job. And what I did pay for out of pocket is still broken, that's why I filed a complaint with State of MI.

worst dealer can't be trusted... The dealer told me my car was not covered under warranty blamed the OEM. SO i called the OEM to resolve the issue and they said the dealer told them not to cover it under warranty. Its a 2018 Chevy so stay away not a trustworthy dealership.....
This is the second time I have dealt with Ian when leasing a car. If I have my way, I will always use him. He is friendly and personable, which, I'm sure is part of his job, but more than that, he followed through on everything he said, and he communicated with me constantly throughout the process.
Every question I had, he either answered immediately or knew how to get an answer. He performed searches, looked up car features, and asked how I would use my vehicle when determining the right fit for me. And I am completely satisfied with my car.
When I wanted to talk with my husband, he gave us privacy without making me feel uncomfortable. He figured and re-figured payments and options several times to get me a car I wanted at a price I could afford.
When my car was not immediately available, he delivered it to me and picked up my old lease.
I feel like my review is quite one sided, but if I could think of any area where Ian let us down, I would include it, and it just didn't happen.

These people take your vehicle for warrantied repair early in the morning then leave and dont tell you, not caring if you need transportation the next day. They didnt even touch my vehicle for the 7 hours they had it.

The sales person, Jim Dallas, sincerely got to know me, and shared about who he is and his family. He wasn't pressuring you in the sale. Of course, I already knew what I wanted, which made his job easier. Then, when we came back to close on the deal, walking up to the building, the lady asked if I was Marianne Smith. I called in last night, and spoke with Rob Collins to purchase a pre-owned Chevy Cruze. I told him I would be there in about 30 minutes. By the time I got there the car was already warmed up and looked great ! He also got me a cup of coffee as soon as I sat down. When I decided I wanted to buy the car he made purchasing one as simple as buying something off of Amazon. Since it was my first time purchasing a car he was very patient with me, and walked me through everything I needed to know. Annie was also a huge help when it came to getting my payments in order. All in all this was an awesome experience and not what I was expecting when buying a vehicle. Great job Rob and Annie.

45 minutes later they finally decided to take it - it was 2:30pm.
So, don't bother with appointments.
Finished at 3pm.

On 03/12/2016 my husband and I pulled into the parking lot at Al Serra Chevrolet in Grand Blanc. We were in the area and had NO plans to purchase a new or used vehicle but we saw a truck and liked the looks of it. The dealership was about to close and the sale person Jed Thompson came out and talked with us about the truck. I told him that I was interested in the truck but the ONLY way I would buy it is if we had the same payment or very close to what we were paying now on our Arcadia. He said let me do some paperwork and I will get back to you on Monday. On Monday he called us and said congrats we can get you approved and your payment is only slightly higher than what you are paying now but your finance rate is at 6.9% I said that sounds high I told him I could get a better rate at my local credit union he said ok and he sent the paperwork over to my credit union. My credit union then said we will do it at 6.25%, I said fine. I had my husband go pick up the check from the credit union and I told him to take it to the dealership and pick up the truck, which he did. Then 2 weeks after the sale I received a call from the dealership (Jed the sales guy) stating they had screwed up the paperwork and we actually owed them $2,266.00 more? I said I have no idea what you are talking about .he said you need to look over the paper work .I said Jed my husband came in and took care of everything gave you the check and you gave us the keys and now we have the title He said well we aren t going to pay off your old vehicle then I said I am not trying to argue but let me call my credit union I talked with the main loan officer and she said yes he tried to call me too he wants me to rework all the paperwork and have this loan rewritten she said I have 2 other loan officers plus myself looking at this and its crazy I have no idea what he is talking about and we aren t doing anything with this. That day I spoke with the loan officer we were leaving for vacation to TN I called Jed and I left a message He ended up calling me back stating we owed the money While on vacation I called their new car manager (Brandon Peabody) and talked with him and told him everything that happened I said if you are going to push this I want my old vehicle back because I can t afford to pay $2,266.00 out of my pocket or $100.00 extra a month in payments he said no problem this is crazy we will take care of this don t worry about it I said ok .a week after I returned from vacation I received a letter in the mail stating they were taking me to court I immediately called the dealership and talked with the used car manager Ed Rykulski they said they had no record of me calling in and I was ignoring them I said no I talked with the new car manager so he kept arguing with me and said he would check my story out he called me back 3 days later and said he talked to Brandon and he confirmed that I did speak with him but he did not care we owed the money Now I have been served papers and I am being taken to court?? I have attached 2 contracts for you to review . When he sent this contract over to my credit union he stated that we owed $30,831.04 now he is stating that we actually owed $33,097.04 .

Brought a
2016 Chevy express van. On the bottom interior of the doors pain is peeling to the touch in one spot and in another it's already rusting out. On the driver's side, it's obvious that the door is rubbing on the body and the pain it gone. The service tells me that it's my fault and that the GM warranty does not cover it. They started that I did the damage with my feet. Here's the question to the AL Sierra manager: when do we ever get in our vehicles and rub our feet on the inside of the door, on the bottom. What a lame excuse not to perform warranty service. I have purchased most of my vehicles here and will not ever again.
Worst experience with a car dealership. We rode around the lot for almost an hour and no one came out to assist. Against my better judgment called to check status of a vehicle and the salesperson seemed nice at first but took out no time to speak with us while processing credit application. He was completely focused on his other customers and not taking us serious at all. This isnt my first dealing with Alserra but it was definitely my last.
My experience was wonderful as always. I have been with Brian Miller since 2004 and I have also sent friends to him. He always makes sure I get what I'm looking for or at least as close to it as he can with staying in my budget. I always leave the lot satisfied with my vehicle.

They don't deal, even when they're asking too much for a car. They hide imperfections instead of being honest about them or fixing them. They only superficially clean the cars. I lifted a floor mat to find gunk and coins. The salespeople and staff are friendly. They're worth checking out, but be skeptical.
