I have been going to Al Bawadi for many years and the food and service is consistently excellent. I was there yesterday for lunch and as expected we had Anas as our server and the experience did not dissappoint- food and service excellent and all staff very friendly and nice.

Hands down the best middle eastern restaurant I have ever gone to. Anytime I am in town I make it a priority to have lunch or dinner here. I always recommend the chicken shawarma plate , it is the best . Don t forget to try their desserts as they make it in house :)
This restaurant changed so much, I remember it years ago I use to refuse to go to it and one time at 2020 I got invited there and tried food it was DELICIOUS and fresh. And they have improved their service. In my opinion Albawadi now is the best place to cater, invite people and you will never forget the taste

Looks like a converted outback steakhouse in a typical strip mall, but don't be deceived; there is some seriously good middle eastern food to be had within. Excellent hummus, delicious grilled meats with spiced rice and yummy dessert! The staff and clientele add to the authentic feel. Recommended.
This place is amazing, little Arabic/Mediterranean corner in south suburbs. Great place to start exploring Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine. The atmosphere of this place is perfectly delivered through interior design. Their Kunafa is must try!

The restaurant is dirty! The cooks in the kitchen were eating ice cream while preparing the food.... even the receptionist was eating ice cream in the front as customers came through.. thats unbelievable... when we sat down at the table the water pitcher for our table was dirty, it had green stuff around the rim of the pitcher. We called for our waiter to adress the issue and she confessed that she gave us a dirty pitcher... dont go here if you want to get CLEAN and efficient service. You might get some ice cream or gush in your meal...
Awesome place for dinner. I went in with a party of 11 and we were in and out quickly. Food was on point and prompt. Will definitely recommend

Came for the Iftar buffet. They ran out of food and not just any food KEBABS. If you don't have kebabs how can you have a middle eastern restaurant. 2nd time we were here. Never coming back. Way over priced and adding to the insult they included the tip into the bill. Hope they account properly for that since IRS updated their rules for tips on bills. Regardless stay clear if you want food apparently you pay for the dirty ambiance and dirty plates.

My therapist recommend this place to me , according to him it's the best in my area. So I decided to visit and try there food. We were greeted well and sat down right away, but it took the wait staff forever to attend to us (the place was empty). Finally she came by took our order, I must say the food was amazingly good. Unfortunately they lack in hospitality skills only for this reason I give 1 star.
We came in , they looked very busy and can't handle customers well , they don't give you any attention WE ALMOST WAITED TWO HOURS FOR THE FOOD when we said we wanted to talk to the manger all of them were rude , didn't even try to apologize they kept saying they are very busy . Horrible customer service food is way over priced . If you want to waste your money and time visit this place .
Food tastes okay... Ambience is good.. Has a good middle eastern feel to it... Kunafa was really good...food is definitely on the expensive side... Had much better food for less.

The oil from baba ganoush was too bitter for my taste. The coffee put some hair on my chest. The camel and I had a great time. The rest of out food was ok. Service was slow and couldn't find the waiters because there were like 5 different ones.
An unassuming gem! Who would guess this average looking building in a strip mall parking lot would be bustling with customers and have such a unique atmosphere? As soon as you walk in the door you feel like you're on an Arabian adventure. The food was excellent. We've gone out of our way to go back.
