Al Bawadi Grill Review

Just ordered $300 worth of food for delivery five minutes away and they re asking for $15 delivery fee!!!!

The best Arab / Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to :) Super hospitable staff and they were so kind. I had the lamb chops and it's the best lamb chops I've ever eaten :) Highly recommend it to everyone

A nice place, good atmosphere, good service, I ordered the bawadi mixed grill and it was Good and filling I couldn't even finish my plate.

OK food maybe a bit overrated which does not justify the high prices especially kunafa.

AMAZING FOOD!
Not the first time we ordered,but honestly if I could give more stars I would. We had a big gathering at my house,cooking was out of question and they are always our first choice.
My guest was so impressed how the meat was cooked to perfection and stayed delicious even when it was cool.
Bawadi never goes skimpy on quality ingredients and that s what makes this place successful.
Always recommended to my family, friends and customers. Great job. Thank you!

The atmosphere is great . All time smiling and friendly people. That food is the best especially kabob and grab leaves great experience.

Excellent place if you're looking for good Mediterranean food. I would suggest calling in advance as they can be quite busy at times.

We made a reservation to enjoy the buffet that we all thought was going to be amazing but what happened was quite the opposite. Food was limited and ran out at a buffet within 20 mins. Food was okay but hospitality was deeply disappointing. Seems like no one was willing to accommodate. Will not come again

So the food here is okay, it s not the best but it s okay. But the staff is nice and all but we sat here for 30 minutes waiting for them to take our check.

It is Arabic food. They have very testy food, that makes go there every weekend.
There service is excellent. The decor is very good.

This is by far the best Middle Eastern dinning place in Chicago. My sister and her kids visited from Saudi Arabia and they said AlBawadi s food tasted better. Love their family platter and meat with humus is a must!

The place is worth a visit for a great Arabic experience

Didn't have the chance to try the Mansaf yet. Chicken shawarma and Kufta casserole with tomato and tahinin sauce were delicious. Hummus with meat is great, better ask them to not put the spicy sauce if not a a fan of spicy food. Loved the garlic sauce so much.

Fantastic place. Really authentic. Delicious. And clean. We have had almost everything here. The stars are the kunfa, stuffed grape leaves, all meats, hummus. Oh ya basicly the whole menu. Sorry for the glowing review but it rare for me to eat good Arabic food where all items are on par not just one or two dishes at a restaurant. Plus the staff are super nice, accommodating and friendly. Enjoy.

Best food ever.. I would like to eat mixed grill. And I am fully recommend this place... I love this place since last 6 years...

I am disappointed this time. I orderd meat plater for Togo.when it comes at home there were no chops n quil on it. I called them n ask so receptionist said they changed the menu but in there website still it's a same even they increased price too.

Horrible service. Terrible buffet price. Smelly food. Don t go there to waste your time and money.

Great Food and Great Service, Ramadan Buffet is great with alot of varieties and all fresh food.

Food is pretty dry and the heating in the restaurant isn't that great. If you go during the winter, make sure you keep a sweater on. The employees are really nice and the service was good

My only take on it, is to add more variety of dishes, and to decrease the amount of rice on the plate and increase the grilled meat and chicken.

Great food, great ambience! The inside of the restaurant is decorated like a Middle Eastern tent, but with plush, comfortable seating and light ambient music playing in the background. The service are also dressed in traditional middle eastern attire. However, the service is very professional and friendly. They will help you choose what to order if you are unfamiliar with items on the menu. And the food... is absolutely Amazing! The kebabs are amazing, and the portions are enormous.
Also, you will be offered free Turkish coffee during/after your meal. That is a must try. It is wonderfully flavored, and tastes beautiful! Only thing, if you must add sugar, please remember to let the coffee settle for two minutes before sipping on it.

TL,DR: Amazing place, must try.

I was more than 5 times on a table near me sitting by youth 2 the first time NIS on them and approached me I felt as if I saw a horror film unfortunately and more than 30 minutes and I am sitting with my uncle on my table and Mstnstny completely and suddenly attended the owner of the restaurant or Mananger I have speeding and ask me all because of him everything perfectly? After you are finished you are fully accountable ..... Thanks!

My favorite middle Eastern restraunt ever! It's Palestinian but almost identical to my grandmother's authentic Lebanese home cooking. My wife and I get something different every time and haven't been disappointed yet! We usually get two or three appetizers and one entree and always have a meal worth of left overs for roughly $40 with tip included

Shamerma is to die for. The feel is awesome, they serve you delicious coffee if you re waiting.

Amazing food and great customer service! It's a little pricy but so worth it! And their kenafeh is a MUST!

A local friend took me there and it was amazing. Loved their silky hummus which just melts in your mouth, and the babaghanoush was spot on. Most importantly, you've got to try the lamb chop. I'm not a big fan of lamb in general, but honestly their lamb chop is my favourite - obviously they use very good quality lamb and it couldn't be any tenderer.

This food was tgood. And employees are nice and kind.

One of the best restaurants ever. The decor inside is gorgeous as well. I love how the staff all wears the middle eastern clothing because it makes the experience much better. I can t wait until they open the one on Niles because I would be going here every week!

AL Bawadi did a great job on the ambiance, the food is delicious. The mixed grill for those who have not tried Middle Eastern grilled meets is an addiction. Be for warned you will not touch regular burgers again..

Descent place with nice ambience. Complimentary relish tray and pita bread a nice plus. Meals and sandwiches cooked well. Only downside is too much rice given to fill you up because shorthanded on meat.

Good management, delicious food and all around a good restaurant. Would recommend to everyone for an authentic taste of Middle Eastern food.

Eating them once was delicious .. The service is excellent .. The staff is awkward despite the congestion .. Abu Saud, the owner of the coffee more Shi Habit .. We were waiting for the text hour "Weekend" .. But it was not a problem for us ..

Be ready to step into a dining adventure. The food and wait staff are all a cut above!! And if a Bedouin comes by to offer you some coffee, try it, it was sooo good!!! Beware of the desserts...they are deadly good and generous enough to share. If you have never had middle eastern food this is the place to start.
