Always great food at a good price, love the tent tables! If you're with a group, get the meat platter, you won't be sorry... it feeds an army and it's delicious!
Enjoyed everything; but, restroom needed attention badly.
Great wood grilled food. The muthawama is the best. A little pricey, though.
Busy there many kind of arabic food and really good test
Excellent! Very rarely do I give a "5 star" rating. Love the food, respectable, friendly. Delicious food! I can eat here again and again. You won't go wrong.
Really good food but if you prefer 100% ? Verify as some items may NOT be.
Overall service and taste of is excellent.
I will come again the food is bad it was better before.
THE BEST KANEFFAH HANDS DOWN FOOD IS ALWAYS THE BEST AND OUT ON TIME
When you get welcomed into a Middle Eastern restaurant by a sheikh you know it's going to be legit. So delicious. I'll be surely coming back. Falafel sandwich and chicken shwarma sent me somewhere nice.
It was very delicious Mediterranean food. Please try the mixed gril entree, you will love it.
Delicious Middle Eastern food. Great atmosphere & amazing service. It s one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Illinois. I highly recommend the combination platter & shrimp scampi. Say yes to the complimentary Turkish coffee the man walks around with table to table. You won t be disappointed with Al Bawadi Grill. Also, it is very inexpensive for the portion of food you get.
The best grill restaurant and they have good shrimp too
Every thing was perfect, Deserves more than 5 stars , every dish was delicious, the vibe there was amazing. And Don t miss there kunafa it s amazing.
If it's two of you, order the sample platter and the various milkshakes, and enjoy the nice atmosphere and staff dressed in traditional robes.
Decent middle eastern food. Always bit noisy . Everyone at least should try this once
Always crowded and always ready to serve. Al Bawadi has a great atmosphere to get you into the right mood for your Mediterranean fix.
The best places for culture and food experience in the Bridgeview area.
Wow!!! Amazing kabobs, rice, hummus, fruit drinks, everything! I am 61 and have eaten a lot of middle eastern food over the years, and this is the best I've had!!! My 11 year old twins had the arayes and kabobs and loved it. This is our new favorite food destination. Service was great and Mariam was very helpful guiding me through the menu. This place is Daddy Dave approved!
We loved our first time there. Beautifully decorated, staff well dressed in ethnic wear, and great food no doubt. We live in Naperville and we don't have Middle Eastern food there. A friend recommended us this place. We had no idea there is a huge Palestinian and Arabic population in Oak Lawn. This place is must go. Will come there again.
The food here is delicious! I've never been here before but I would love to come back!
100x better than fatoush .great food .friendly servers .a little slow but always busy .so food is fresh ,a little pricey but no other option unless you want to go across the street to the Peru joint (nile).makes up for the delay with free appetizers. Will come again
5 stars isn't enough of a rate for this restaurant!!!! Wow!!!! The food is beyond incredible!! The staff is superb!!!! Exquisite!!! Today was my first time there and this place has officially become my #1 favorite restaurant!!!! Give it a try....you WON'T regret it!!!
Called an hour ahead of pick.up, had to wait 20 mins, owner instead of being sorry said 15-20 is not a big deal. The food has lost quality, amd is more expensive than before.
Fire son! Huge portions and great food. Well known from what I've heard.
As someone who was born and raised in the Middle East, I can confidently say this place is the best and most authentic middle eastern food I've had in the ENTIRE United States (I've not been to Dearborn, so can't speak for that part).
The best items here are from the Grill (a.k.a. the Mashawi) items, but the Mezze platter items are also on point. Do leave some space for the Kunafa as well!
Large portions, great hospitality. If you're someone who loves Middle Eastern food and miss it, look no further!
Great place for families And special events staff always friendly food is great
U should try their KNAFA
Worth the price and wait, delicious food. Highly recommend to family and friends if you like Arabic food. Also some of the best grape leaves around. They give good size portions too for the price we always have leftovers.
Super good Mediterranean food. Marinated shrimp chicken Ribeye lamb salmon shisk kabobs with 2 Rice's and hummus--fresh baked pita. Authentic caravan tent booths and delicious food and atmosphere. Servers wear traditional mid east clothing on weekends . Huge dinner platters for around $19.99. Nice well mannered and helpful servers. Locals say it's the best around. Opening new location in Niles. Very festive and great for parties or catering. The real deal!
Amazing food, we got the platter and sides to share. Kunafa was good too, not super sweet. Call ahead or it will be a long wait.
It's not for Pakistani or Indians poor services foods is looks same smells from every food. Meat quality is fine but not cooked well, like rubber Small tables, only like museum visits. No proper spoons for serving, coffee serves in disposal tinier cups feel like taking medicine . The servers only only showed once harder to check out.
Good food horrible customer service. Although the gentleman at the front door is amazing.
Nice place and good food. Good service. We order for this place a lot and they deliver. Great people
Disappointed. I have been here 3 years ago and it was superb. Now service and taste has changed dramatically. Food was dried. Meat not cooked well. Bread was missing salt. Grilled mixed served with no sauce. Wife felt sick after. Might go back one day to give them a second chance!
The service is good and the workers are very nice, but the food is not nice and the sandwich is very expensive and the prices are very expensive
Excellent for Mediterranean dishes. Everything was amazing. No alcohol here.
Everything tastes delicious beyond 5 stars! Each dish is a different experience so I suggest trying various platters and sharing them if you can! Service was fantastic and the entire staff is very friendly and excited to chat about the dishes!
I heard a lot about this restaurant; it is the most famous Arabic restaurant in Chicago.
I came to Chicago from Indiana and tried it for the first time, and I didn't like it.
I had Kibbeh; it was good but overcooked, Shawarma was good also but not the best,
Shish kabab sandwich; the meat is not well cooked, and falafel sandwich; this sandwich wins, it was the best. The smell of the food is amazing too.
The food was so good and the place clean also the staff helpful
Lamb chops and quile platter highly recommended. One of the best middle eastern restaurant.
Very bad experience. I will not go back even if they make it for free.
Amazing traditional MiddleEastern restaurant.Food choices are definitely various and delicious.
Oriental appetizers , grilled meats and main courses and of course their traditional desserts
The atmosphere is more than great , traditional arabic atmosphere with an amazing customer service provided by a great staff.
I recommend the place very much
Great food, great service. For sure coming back again. And suggesting it to everyone i know, food takes some time but it s worth the wait, and don t forget to try the desert
Could be crowded with long wait times but worth it.
Great middle Eastern food. The Turkish coffee they serve is awesome.
Great and interesting place. When i walked in in i thought i was in another county. Seemed very true and authentic. Food was different but very good. Highly recommended
This place is awesome. Great food. Courteous service. Wonderful ambience. We had a delightful dining experience. MASS
Had amazing experience... Great ambience, Excellent customer service. Family restaurant..
I must say this has been a pleasure experiencing the hospitality of this restaurant Hamza(waiter) welcomed my family while we waiting to be seated he talked to us about the menu and gave us suggestions since it was our first time there the wait was to be expected to be 45mins but it turned out to be a lot quicker once we sat down we have gotten a different waiter he took our order while we waited they gave us a appetizer since it was my first time eating mediterranean food I asked a waiter what was on the plate Isha(waiter) took time to help us out gave us some more recommendations she kept coming back to make sure we were alright as well as Hamza which he was on the other side of the building attending his tables but took the time to make sure we were doing well the overall experience was great I will most definitely come back they can take my money no problem make sure to get Hamza or Isha as a waiter yall will not regret it I promise.
Aaaaah the best midderterainian food. Best spice and grilling of the meat
Saw this place on Chicago's best. It was all I expected it to be. I loved the food. We will be going back. The wings were omg delicious
One of my favorite restaurants - the hummus alone is worth the trip! Smooth, creamy, garlicky - delicious. Any of the wood grilled entrees are worthwhile, though the Kufta kebabs are my favorite. Go early as it gets pretty packed later in the evening.
I love everything at this place..my fav is chicken kabob and chicken tawook with basmati rice with garlic sauce..don't forget the shawerma wraps...I can smell the food when I enter the parking lot..too good..masha Allah
Shameful. Waited like everyone else to get a table and ordered. Waited 45 mins + food had not arrived. Asked twice about where the food was and were ignored straight after.
To top it off, the same server who we asked to check on the progress of the food came to our table and asked to move us because there was a reservation for the table we were sitting at. We were expecting her to at least say that they were sorry about the wait for the food.
I wonder. If we were 30 years + wearing suits would they have have even dared to ask to move us? Or is it simply because we were being polite? Perhaps I should have made a scene and asked to speak with the manager. Absolutely shameful. We left 5 minutes after we were moved.
I commend the one gentleman who came out to ask us why we were leaving and I apologise sincerely to him because he was the one to face the frustration of the four of us.
Won't get my recommendation and most certainly will never have my business.
The starters they served was stale and had that old oil smell. Had really high expectations with all the reviews but ended up being dissatisfied.
Ufff so amazing the food is delicious the atmosphere is relaxing the employees are so nice no matter what if you are local or tourist like in my case the service is always excelent. So 100 recomendable
Must go if visiting Chicago area. The food is most delicious.
The food is very Delicious and really nice place! Big like! Mashallah
Always nice to be here and enjoy the clean food and the friendly hospitality
Bad customer service, after waiting for the food over 40 minutes, the food was cold, we ordered chicken it was so garlicky, and the salad wasn t fresh.
We went the second time, again bad customer service, we ordered fried fish with rice, as they recommended, the rice was good, but the fish was very tough if I throw it on the window it will break the glasses, they add so much flour you can t taste the fish, the tabouli simplest salad in the Levantine cuisine, they couldn t make it good.
