Ambience is great, food is always tasty. Little pricey, but it worth spending a little extra here.

The best arabic restaurant ever. The food is delicious and you always get Great Service

I used to like this restaurant, but recently I was disappointed. My friends and I had gotten 2 mixed grills, lamb chops, chicken shish taook sandwich, hummus, and baba ganoush. The hummus and baba ganoush were exceptional. The glass had cracks on the bottom and the chair I sat on was extremely wobly with loose legs and switched to another which was a little wobly as well but not as much. The mixed grill beef or lamb gyro was so dry and smelly that I choked on it for a bit and had to down it with water. The beef kabobs/cubes were super chewy and had this weird old smell. The only thing that tasted good was chicken shish taook. The lamb chops had no flavor and also had an old smell to them. I don't know what happened, but this was really disappointing as this used to be a great restaurant. Despite this, the restaurant was still semi packed. I hope that this was a one time thing.

They make you feel welcome. They need a little more welcoming and happy looks.

Excellent salads and falafel. Extremely generous servings of rice with all entrees. This was my third visit, and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this friendly restaurant.

Not sure you should go here. Sometimes the waiting line gets very long. First come first served and that includes making reservations. When it opened the food was very good. Yes I am more than acquainted with Middle Eastern Cuisine but as of lately is seems to be rushed. Maybe they let themselves get too busy by pumping customers through. Maybe you just need to know someone to get the same service that they started with. Free market capitalism works if the dollar isn't bigger than your integrity. Maybe if the rest of you stop showing up I won't have to wait for a table and the food will still be as good as in the beginning.

got the meat & chicken schwarma platter. I must be spoiled by the north side persian food but this place is highly mediocre. the atmosphere is awkwardly arranged and uninviting imo. baba ganoush great, meat schwarma edible/ok, but the rice was seriously bogus. didn't even bother taking leftovers, will not return.

What an amazing place! Fun atmosphere with incredible food to match. Make sure you go hungry because the portions are large and very filling. Definitely the best middle eastern food we ve had in the area. Great food, great service, great restaurant!

It's a Good place to buy authentic Palestinian food. They have an interesting Arab scenery within the restaurant. The staff is usually very kind and professional. The food usually is pretty good.

The best arabic restaurant in chicago. They have many options and they give you arabic coffee. You feel like eating food in middle east.

I have been coming here for years but it seems the quality of food has gone up over the years. Went with a friend and everything we ordered was excellent. The rice was perfectly season and fluffy. The baba ganoush was incredible (I remember it being slightly bitter in the past but certainly not this time). Chicken was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned.
Keep it up... Great food.

The service is always good. The chicken minced kabob was so tender. It was perfect especially since I was afraid of biting into meat after a root canal.

The is the best Palestinian/Jordanian food in Chicago hands down! The shawarma, hummus, falafel is even better than what you can get in most places in the Middle East itself. They can get busy though and wait times can be long so be prepared for that.

I love the kabobs, the rice, the kafka, and especially their hummus! I love everything I've eaten there, I just don't remember the names of all of the dishes.

Ridiculously fresh everything! The appetizers were delicious - my favorite, being a garlic-mashed potato mix. The main course - a variety meat platter on fragrant rice... *Drool* <--- that meant AMAZING. And the dessert, a light, crispy filo dough with a creamy cheese, topped with syrup......Made a very big impression and I was thoroughly pleased. This team is a group of EXPERTS ON THE GRILL! I'd eat here 3-5x a week if I didn't love cooking at home. Away from home, this is a wonderful and courteous place!

Worst place ever. After waiting for an hour and fourty five minutes to be seated, they kept seating other people who just arrived and waited less beacuse they did not have kids or they were more than 7 people. They are all about making money and they do not respect people time. We had to leave after we saw they were seating other people who came after us after we waited for an hour and fourty five mintutes. Thank you for wasting our time.

The reason for giving them one star is that there is no zero star option.
The food is from worse to the worst. Bad management and bad behavior from the staff. The lady who is taking the orders rush on you and don t listen. The food did not come as how I ordered. I talked to the manager but he was not cooperative and he hanged up the phone! Bad staff and bad food. The worst restaurant I experienced ever. This is not my only bad experience with them. I tried it many times as always the managers said try us next time and it will be better.
2 years ago it was good, but since then, this restaurant is just moving to the worst and the food dose not tast good too! Will never visit it again, there are many many mideterian restaurants in Chicago that serve way better food in a really better service.

Worst customer service ever and worst online service, I recommend to delete it. I had to wait 45 minutes and after that they told me, we don t have beef shawarma. I ordered chicken shawarma instead, and it was 30 minutes waiting. At the end I got my onion sandwich with some chicken it was awful, never again.

Unfortunately ramadan buffet was disappointing. They ran out of basic items like kofta and we entirely missed the chance to try it. We paid $25/person to eat some rice and chicken. We went on a Saturday. The line was insane.

The cuisine is as healthy as it is delicious. The purest juice bar in Illinois. The most courteos and most beautiful servers outside of Persia. The prices allow everyone to enjoy this wonderful oasis. Come as you are. This is what makes America Great and the Chicagoland, the best metropolis on earth.

I had the dinner with my family there tonight, they took too much time to bring the food , added to this, they charged us 18% OBLIGATORY tips and their reason was because we were more than 6 people !!!
