Airdrie Honda Review

Helped one of my friends buy an accord from here. He didn't speak much English but Cody and the team took their time and went at my friends pace to make sure he's comfortable before moving forward. I applaud their procedure and would recommend Airdrie Honda to any one looking to pursuance new or used vehicle.

From start to finish, my experience with Mike Fry and Airdrie Honda was second-to-none! My "new to me" car search began in the early summer. I booked an appointment at Airdrie Honda to test a used Honda CRV. Although I was not completely satisfied with the CRV that day, Mike did not "push" a sale. I think he knew that I had lots to think about and that my search was not over for my perfect car. At the end of October, I found my car during an online search. Having made a connection with Mike in the summer, I knew that he was the person I wanted to deal with. My "new" car is a Hyundai Santa Fe...not a Honda. That didn't matter to Mike. He knew all about my car and could answer all my questions knowledgeably and patiently. He truly cared about me as a person and not just another sale. He has a wonderful sense of humour and a non-pushy sales style. I gladly tell any and all to visit Mike at Airdrie Honda and I hope he'll be there for years to come!

This is my second Honda from Jason and his team. They always treat you like the most important person in the world and truly care about your purchasing experience. I highly recommend this Honda dealership. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff!

I have bought a couple of cars from this dealership and I would probably get another one from them and I highly recommend them. After-sales service is top notch. Their service lounge is spacious so if you choose to wait while your vehicle is getting serviced, then you can do so in comfort. They also offer shuttle service. I make sure to get all my vehicles' maintenance done with this dealership and I have no complaints.

We had a great experience when shopping for a new Odyssey. We visited several local dealers and decided to go with Airdrie Honda due to the level of service, honesty and quality of employees. We had an excellent experience purchasing from Mike Fry, who went out of his way to get us everything we wanted in a very timely fashion. Had a great experience a few weeks ago at Airdrie Honda . I needed to trade my Durango in for a mini van in order to be able to have more room for my family and my daughters medical equipment. Not only did Ayman find me the Honda Odyssey i was looking for but they were able to even lower my monthly payments. Ayman was amazing to deal with he was extremely helpful and friendly. The whole team was so good. I had been to many other dealerships before them and had been told by most they couldn't lower my payments or even do anything for me because of my negative equity on the Durango and other dealerships that wouldn't even call me back after telling them of my situation. The best part was when i went to sign the paperwork there were no extra fees or other hidden expenses that brought my loan or payments up past what we had discussed previously the price was the price. They had me in and out quickly and no sitting around waiting. Definitely would recommend Ayman and the team at Airdrie Honda and Definitely would go back. I bought two Honda civic in two years and I came here first. They wanted to play the salesman game and didn't realize that I'm not going to put up with it. I made my requests, I didn't get what I wanted, so I went to another Honda dealership and got more than I asked for. The service department was really on point, I would give them 4 or 5 stars if I could rate them separately.

Had a rock chip in my front rotor so my car was squeaking loud. Took it to Airdrie Honda service department, took care of the problem for me in 30 min without appointment with no charge (rock chip isn't part of the warranty service). I recommend to buy it from this location because what's important is the post-sales services.

Had a fantastic experience at a Airdrie Honda. Par was a great salesman right from the start and listened to our needs and desires in a new van for our growing family and helped us find one within our budget. He made a great first impression on us with his eye contact, firm handshake, sense of humour, confidence and people skills. He was never pushy and explained different options and vehicle features to us. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions (and there were many) and was patient and understanding with our long decision-making process and with our end decision to buy a used van at this point while we wait for the new redesigned 2018 vans to come out next year. He even came in on his day off to be there when we picked it up and was available for any appointment on any day during our buying process so that we could make it work for our childcare availability. Amazing loyalty and passion for his job. Brad was the used sales manager who appraised our trade in and was with us during each step of the way as well. He was also fantastic and patient and answered our many questions. Finance managers where great and fast with our financing application and on closing day processing. Can't say enough good things about each staff member we encountered from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed each time we came to look some more or ask more questions before we made our final decision. Never felt like a bother and always felt like family. Will definitely go back for future vehicles and they have our loyalty for life!

Awesome experience!service was fast.even had free car wash with our free oil change:) BUT it wasnt such a pleasing wait for us especially when your sitting and relaxing while waiting and you hear one staff of theirs who wasnt very nice to another staff. This poor chinese man who seems very nice just looked embarass how we can hear that another staff bully him. He could be the boss but my boss never had treated me like that. Words of sarcasm,critism,unecessary comments and control from that white guy.(fyi: that chinese man drove that pilot so much better than he did):) anyway, other than that drama Honda airdrie gives good service!!:)

We recently bought a Honda Certified Used Vehicle from Airdrie Honda s salesperson Nkafu after searching for some months in Calgary and surrounding areas dealerships both online and in person! Of all the sales we ve dealt with, Nkafu is the most pleasant and patient to work with and his professional and expert knowledge have been very much appreciated! Here is an extended version of the above summary review. I find other people s online reviews helpful so I pay it forward by providing some detailed reasons on why I ve given Nkafu and Airdrie Honda a 5 stars review.

I say our sales person Nkafu is both pleasant and patient to work with because he is always ready to help us but wasn t pushy and did not rush us into a purchase decision. I greatly dislike the Always Be Closing (ABC) mentality of selling as some sales people would almost turn semi-rude the second after they know they can t close the deal *yet*! #sad

When we asked Nkafu to email electronic copies of CarProof reports (for brand new listed vehicles) and full service history of vehicles, etc, he was always prompt and pleasant in providing information we asked for. Note that some other Honda dealers would simply refuse ( We don t provide that information via email! ) when we asked to see electronic copies of full service history of vehicles! Hmmm, what are they trying to hide?

Nkafu also let us take our time to carefully look over the many vehicles available in order to find one that we like best. During the finally car delivery process, Nkafu even personally came to our home to pick us up when the dealership s free shuttle service doesn t go to our area in Calgary.

Ziad explained the services done professionally to our full satisfaction. I consider Ziad & the service team to have played an important role in helping us to find and buy the right Honda!

And finally, a super big thank goes to Jason (General Manager) who went above and beyond what we expected to help us with the car on the day we took delivery! You see, as part of the detailing/cleaning process, we asked if Airdrie Honda could try to make two paint scratches/patches on the rear bumper less noticeable.

On the delivery day, we noticed the two patches were still there, simply thinking they might be too hard to paint away and were ready to accept as it is a used car and not a new car. Then Jason met us during the delivery and told us he too was not happy about the two patches. Jason soon offered to swap a nicer bumper from a car in his service fleet with our bumper if we have ~30 minutes! Of course we don t mind the minor wait! #SuperHappy We were pleasantly surprised by Jason s great service that went above & beyond what we expected! Big thanks Jason!

I told Jason, reputation is something that is earned one good customer service experience at a time! As General Manager, I hope Jason can and trust he will empower his sale, service, finance teams to do their best to help other customers like we ve been helped. In our social media age, good/bad reputations and online reviews are earned from both customers and potential customers who walk away.

Amazing service department. Would definitely recommend. I'm all the way from BC, just had a fresh snowfall out, accidentally ran over a curb that I didn't see. It was really dumb, but in an emergency I needed to have my oil changed, and make sure nothing was broken. Came in on a Saturday they took me in checked my car and washed it before the end of the day. I work at a dealership, and appreciate a place that puts the customer first. Service advisor was very helpful. If you are having any issues with your car and need somewhere to fix it, would highly recommend Airdrie Honda.

I recently purchased a car from Airdrie Honda, we have been to multiple Honda dealers throughout Calgary, and Airdrie Honda by far gave us the best customer service, when they say "customer driven", they mean it. On top of that, we got the best deal on this car compared to other dealers.

Airdrie Honda was also very honest when it comes to servicing your vehicle. We brought my boyfriend's 2015 Accord (also from Airdrie Honda) in for maintenance services, and requested for a wheel alignment, when we went to pick up the car, they told us they checked it and we did not need a wheel alignment. There are so many stories on the news about shady dealerships pushing services you don't need, we felt like Airdrie Honda was very honest about what services our vehicle actually needed.

I'd like to thank Austin, Shaddy, Wayne, and Brandon for making this process effortless on my end.

Shamiza Ukani is my most favourite service advisor at any Honda dealerships from Thunder Bay,ON all the way to the West Coast. She is the most considerate advisor as she takes into account my special circumstance of being in business that has me driving on average 10000km per month and does not allow me to take lengthy pre-programmed appointments.. She is always honest with her advice and takes the time to explain any problem in a way that it is easy to understand and that helps tremendously in making the right & best decision. What I really appreciate also is that she never puts pressure on me to act immediately. There is simply nobody like her in the industry and I trust her wholeheartedly with any of my vehicles.

I had an excellent new vehicle purchase experience with Cody and manager Wayne: no pressure, gimmicks, or nonsense. I was treated with respect, given fair value for my trade-in and a great deal on my purchase. I've had bad experiences elsewhere: extra fees, lies, and ridiculous opening offers -- none of that at Airdrie Honda. It's the best dealership I have ever been to.

I just purchased an Accord with Airdrie Honda and the whole experience was unbelievably easy and I felt like a valued customer and a family member to these employees before I even walked in the door. I've worked in hospitality myself since high school and am blown away.

The salesman, Bernie, caught me and my girlfriend before we even walked in and showed us around and found the car we had seen online. Within minutes I was behind test driving the accord which I now possess the keys to. We had conversations about other options I was looking at from other dealerships and I did not feel any pressure from Bernie to buy his product which has been my experience at every other dealer. Extremely knowledgeable about not only the cars he sold but the other models I was looking at from Subaru and Nissan and he pointed out pros and cons of each one including the Honda. With my past experience with Hondas it was an easy choice in the end. The General manager himself came out and shook my hand before expressing any serious interest in the car and was present every step of the way from there on. The mechanic after I had payed for the car offered to install a free car starter for me as well as he was putting the plate on. Bernie later showed up at my workplace with a thank you card for me and my girlfriend as he was not working when I picked up the vehicle.

These guys are the best, worth the drive out the Airdrie hands down. Don't go anywhere else if you're looking at Hondas.

Purchased a new car from this location 3 months ago. I'm happy with my new car, way better thay I thought.

Although I am quite disappointed with Chino (sales agent that was money driven. Pressure was on with this guy. Did not gave me any incentives that I like the most for the car even forgot about it), I'm very well satisfied with their service agent. His name was Mike I think. Other dealership will just take your money and even add more service that you don't even need but not them. Mike even gave me tips and advice. Kudos!

I will purchase my next vehicle again with them in the future and will still recommend them with my friends and family.

Had nothing but good experiences here including a time when I had an emergency (my windshield wipers began fighting with each other) and they fixed things and had me back out in minutes. My next vehicle will likely be a Honda again, partly because of the great service.

Both of them made my purchase of the Honda Ridgeline 2017 model, super easy and smooth. My wife and I really enjoyed Parwez's sense of humor and friendliness. Great staff and great service. Took a little bit to get my car located from another province as the only one in Tonic Yellow was in edmonton and they didn't want to give it up. Once the car was located and shipped it was one of the smoothest car buying experiences. Ayman my sales man was great to deal with and everyone from Finance were thorough in explaining any questions I have. I don't plan on getting rid of my Civic, but if I do Airdrie Honda will be my only stop.

The guy i was dealing was in his 40s to late 50s and it was about 9 45 am when I went in this morning to ask questions about my bumper and how much it cost to get a new bumper.

He said paint was $800.00!

He was quite rude when I was surprised by how much the paint was. I got no explanation from him. I went home and my brother broke it down for me as to why it was so much and what the process was.

Wish he was more patient and understanding and explain why instead of giving me attitude!

Can not say enough about the great service provided to me by Service Manager Ziad Elcheika. He went far and beyond what was expected, ensuring our safety for a long trip back home. So nice to meet such an honest, dedicated Honda employee.

The experience at Airdrie Honda was easy and quick. I went in to test drive a Honda fit and CR-V, Shaddy the salesman asked me a few questions and said we could of course test drive anything I wanted, but recommended that I also try the Civic based on my answers. When I sat in it, the car was super roomy. When I park it though, it takes no space at all, plus with a back up camera it's super easy to get into any space.
Financing with Wayne was also great. No pressure, just informing me of my options. Ian went over the car details with me and was very patient with my random "what if" questions. Overall very satisfied and after waiting a few years on what I wanted, I'm very happy with what I chose! Thanks Airdrie Honda!

Ayman AlSayegh was a salesman who served me very well. He was so patient to listen to what I said and answered my questions. The day I went to finish the deal was his day off and had family business to do but he was still willing to come back to serve me. Thank you very much Ayman. However I found the dealer just want to finish the transaction and take my money. Their feelings to me are so cold and had no intention to build a relationship with the customers. Maybe there is one thing I should appreciate them was after a long bargain to the GM they finally were willing to offer me one free oil change. (I am not an Airdrie resident. It took me 4 hours to go there)

My experience was awesome, Bernie did a great job on it. He was very kind and patient with us! Also, I really like the service from Bernie and the financial guy. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to come here!

I would be very cautious when buying parts from airdrie Honda. I got the same quote from Villagehonda. Calgary and it was near $300 cheaper for the exact same parts and 600 cheaper if I go to auto value I hope I can help someone From getting ripped off from the parts department in airdrie Honda cheers

Mike Fry's commitment to customer service is second to none. He was a very knowledgeable and laid back and not at all pushy with his sales pitch. I went to the dealership with one specific car in mind being the Audi A6 Special Edition and he didn't try to talk me into anything else. He simply showed me the car, and then offered a test drive on the spot. Mike was very personable during the test drive and afterwards while helping us with paperwork. Negotiations was painless and actually an enjoyable experience being a win/win deal for both. When it came time to pick up our car, he immediately responded and a appointment was set up. I live an hour away from the dealership and had to change the time of my appointment that morning, but Mike was extremely accommodating. Matter of fact, Airdrie Honda made it a special day displaying the car with a bright red bow and a personal consultation on all the features of the car before leaving. It was truly an eventful day.

Taking the Plunge

After much coercing from my wife, I decided that I needed to cut fuel costs down on my commute. I determined, based on many user reviews, that my best bet would be a Honda Civic. I am cut from an older cloth which translates; "I prefer to keep older vehicles alive in order to not make vehicle payments". But when parts and fuel costs outweigh the value of an older vehicle, one has to realize that purchasing a newer vehicle might make better fiscal sense. So off to Airdrie Honda I went.
Mike Fry was my sales rep and I must say; he not only knows his product, he loves it...and that is contagious. I bought an 09 Civic Sport and to be honest, who doesn't glance over at the latest and greatest while thinking, "maybe I could just take one for a test drive to compare?" I have met many sales reps who would have jumped in at that momentary point of indecision and begin pushing the latest and greatest. Mike didn't seize that opportunity because he listened to what my needs were rather than what my potential wants might be. By doing so he sealed the deal, I have zero buyers remorse and I don't have to worry about that infamous depreciation value of a new car.
Before I could take possession of my "new" car, it had to undergo the thorough Honda Certification inspection. Apparently there is a paint recall on my particular year and model, so it took longer than expected. Mike called me up and informed me of this and that they were offering me a loaner car till mine was ready. That loaner car saved me $135 in fuel costs in four days.
If you your fuel costs are anything like mine, then doesn't it make sense to take the plunge? I highly recommend Mike Fry, Brandon Heatherington and the rest of the team at Airdrie Honda.

Dealing with Airdrie Honda has proven to be a very positive experience. First and foremost our Sales Consultant, Ayman Al Sayegh was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. I have found from past experience most car sales men will only address my husband and leave me on the sidelines. Ayman, was very different in that respect and addressed me as an important piece of the decision making. The same can be said for the Sales Manager, Shaddy Kamaleddine . When it came time to write a sales agreement he came and met face to face with us and we quickly came to an agreement. Most dealerships have their sales person go back and forth between the customer and the Sales Manager. We found both Shaddy and Ayman very easy to deal with and we came away feeling we had been dealt with fairly and honestly.

Being able to find the right vehicle within the city of Airdrie was important to us. We highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.

We have now had our Honda Passport for a couple of weeks and it has proven to be the right vehicle for us.

I can not say enough good about this dealership, T&T Honda and Honda Canada. After being told the part I needed for my car would be a month wait, they set me up on a rental at no charge, kept in contact with me, always were a pleasure to speak with on the phone. Even though I bought my car privately they still were going to honor the warrantee ( unfortunately it was not the part that broke lol), they were so kind and curtious. Keep up the good work Honda!!!! I have been bringing my vehicle here for years for oil changes and repairs, I have always been extremely happy with the service department. At times they have gone above and beyond with their customer service. Dean in the service department is AMAZING, I cannot say enough good things about the service he has provided over the past year or so.

Updated review Aug 2020: Airdrie Honda amazed me again. In a recent interaction, Airdrie Honda's service department resolved an issue with my car that lasted for two years and was not fixed after 4 trips to another dealership near where I live. Ziad, the service manager, was diligent and systematic. With help from a very friendly shop foreman, they patiently took the time identify the issue and fix it. Their customer service and commitment to customer satisfaction is exemplary!

I bought a 2016 used Odyssey from Airdrie honda around February 2017. Car looked great. I reviewed the car proof that they provided to me and I trusted them that they have done all the inspections (which they did for most part), so didn't do my due diligence when picking up the car (my bad!). We picked up the car in a rush as I wanted to make it back home on-time and get the winter tires installed on the car the same night, so we did not wait for the tech to show us how all the bells and whistles work. After a couple of weeks, I got time to set the memory seat and realized it is not working. Contacted them and they asked me to bring in the car. Meanwhile, I got a chance to think about why the memory seat is not working and suspected that the door might have been repaired. After a simple inspection, I found paint sprayed on a piece of foam near the hinge. I called the dealership and discussed it with the sales manager. He then referred me to the General Manager Jason. Jason listened to my concerns and explained that since the car proof was clear the day they showed it to me they are not responsible for any problem (which I checked with AMVEC and they confirmed this interpretation); nevertheless, he sent the car to an independent body shop for inspection. The body shop confirmed that the car had an accident and that the driver side corner and door was replaced and the sliding backdoor was painted over. A new carproof showed that there was an insurance claim on the car that did not show up on the first carproof which was pulled a couple of weeks after the accident. It looked like the previous owner quickly fixed the car and sold to Honda and did not disclose the accident.
As the general manager of the dealership, Jason took the responsibility and accepted my offer to take the car back with a fair adjustment for the 4 months that I used the car. He then offered me a deal on a brand new 2017 Odyssey which I accepted and ended up trading the old Van for this one.
Overall, Jason handled the matter with professionalism and respect. He was very helpful to the last minute and made sure we have received the car and have been helped with the delivery.
I also had the chance to work with the service manager Ziad, which was absolutely helpful.
So, in summary, Airdrie Honda managed to turn a bad situation to a great experience for us!

Thank you to Airdrie Honda. Proof it's not always about making a sale, this company was just 100% on board for making my families life easier whether there was a car sale involved or not. Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart.

I live out of province and was trying to buy a vehicle. I was willing to pay for the vehicle in full before they started on any paperwork just to show them that I was serious. Both the sales manager and general manager were unreasonable with the amount of paperwork needed just to send them money (driver license, another government issued ID, and a copy of current utility bill). I was hesitant at first to even give the my drivers license but after the other requirements it was clear that this dealership does not want my business. If your from out of province, don't bother wasting your time like I did. I think the employees should be educated on how to do business online especially in this Covid-19 pandemic.
