It's an airport in one of the most highly populated cities in the world. Is it the best no but it's far from the worst in my experience. I will say the duty free is not a deal at all infact its twice the price of things in the city, but the restaurants and snacks are the most reasonably priced I've seen in any airport
Whereas most people I encountered in small towns across Mexico were friendly, in this one place, the workers seemed mean. Perhaps they are fed up with Americans- I get it. Perhaps they are tired of my poor Spanish attempts- sorry! More
Why do they sell mark that In the rest of the country no. And it is a safe place.
Usually the airport is good since as they all have areas for national and international flights, something you should know is that it has two terminals so check your time and ticket well. It has many places to buy supplies and / or souvenirs, exchange offices and banks throughout the airport. THE BAD ... if you want to leave your vehicle safe from the airport it is very expensive as well as if you need to carry out some activity and you must use the parking since another bad point sq is not like most airports that has an area where get off and get on a vehicle whether private or service. And so far the security measures due to the pandemic are not being fully respected.
When a flight arrives at a contact position, very good, but the problem is when it reaches a remote position, it is to lose another half hour or more, for everything else the practical and comfortable facilities.
Horrible employees the worst experience flying through here and Aeromexico will never do this again do not recommend if you can avoid this airport or airline please do!
Most Airlines clubs are closed, lots of hand sanitizer everywhere
Worst airport coming from another country. Immigration is long. Then you have to get your bags and go have them checked by customs. But worst part is that they make you exit the airport. So once you get your bags and take them to the connection flight area to drop them off you have to go through security again. But like my case they changed my flight so I had to go upstairs to the aeromexico counter get in line and have them change the sticker on the bags. Luckily the line at security for me was not long, but I wasn't in a hurry because @aeromexico delayed its flights and my 9 hr flight become 12+ hours. @aeromexico worst airline. I would recommend you to avoid this airport and aeromexico on your trips, unless you dont have any other choice.

This airport has a lots of different stores and restaurants, people always nice.. most of the employees speak English..
The international terminal is beautiful. The national terminal is awful. Flights are often delayed.

Big but the train from terminal to terminal is not easy acces, doesnt go very ofter and not always works so be careful and on time!

Half of the airport is new and half is under construction. Not a lot of good places to eat so a layover here can get very long.
Immigration took over an hour!! Somebody vomited and it was not even roped off...people that didn't pay attention walked right through it. And another girl almost passed out because it was so stuffy. I've never seen it so busy so I hate to give a one star review over a single time frame but that was an epic fail! I will avoid Mexico city in the future of possible.

First world facilities. In this time of the Pandemic, hygiene and healthy distance measures are at the maximum. They take the temperature at different points of the facilities, antibacterial gel, healthy distance and mandatory mask. Despite the conditions, I had a good boarding and an excellent trip.
This is one of the more disorganised and hectic airports I've been to. There is plenty of space to sit down, but in the international terminal, I have noticed that gates get shifted from one side to the other, and you might be seated comfortably next to your gate, and then the gate is reassigned to the other side of the airport, and you have to rush.
There is free wifi of a sort. If you eat at one of the places that offers free wifi, and they use the global network, you'll get a username and password combination that will work over the whole airport. Secondly, the username and password don't change. I have one I've used over the last three or four years.

Very big and busy all the time. I like that I can always find the gate easily and the people are nice. The store are a big expensive but ok.

Nice clean airport, but getting through customs from United States took almost 2 hours. It was a Friday and maybe it was an unusual day. Take a look at the lines in the picture.
Those who offer taxis almost got on one, they do not care about the pandemic, they are in the middle of the entrance, they do not let you out, they approach you, they almost put you in the taxi, how annoying
There are so many things wrong with this airport that it's difficult to put in words but I'll try anyways:
- The airport is very dirty and old.
- There is no outside view which makes a stay here rather boring.
- There is barely anything to do over here.
- The staff barely knows English and has trouble even understanding it.
- Mistakes that shouldn't be made seem to be easily made, wrong information on the boards for example (they showed the wrong time for my flight).
At least some of the staff seem to be rather friendly and after all my flight still departed perfectly on time.
It's a fairly modern and big airport, but the waiting areas are not very comfortable. They need more places to charge your phone. Also the signs for the gates are confusing and security staff is very rude and intimidating.
Fun place once you know your way around. Pick up a snack and a t shirt.

Worst airport I've ever been in. Not a soul speaks English, very few restaurants and they keep changing our gates. Rude employees, lack of directions. Avoid if you can.
Bathrooms are lacking, they put in hundreds of shops and sacrificed bathrooms.
To a relative. I cannot give much information regarding the airport because I only went to receive. I could tell that it has a lot of air activity both on national and international flights. My family member's flight was 20 minutes late, but most of the flights I was observing on the screens arrived on time. It has many exchange houses, ATMs of different banking institutions, varied food and gift shops.
Quite wide, it currently has the necessary sanitary filters when going through security.
I love this airport because everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. I think they appreciate tourism here more than many other airports. Flew in AeroMex and they were also all extremely helpful with my wife and I. Also the parking here is easy and pretty cheap

Passengers connecting to other international flights are forced to collect their luggage and go through customs even though they are not entering Mexico. Baggage retrieval takes 1+ hourS, . aduanas will take and confiscate anything they can get to keep it for themselves. UNWILLING TO HELP UNLESS YOU GIVE THEM SOMETHING. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ATLEAST 3 TO 4 HURS LAYOVER OTHER WISE YOU WILL DEFENITELY LOOSE YOUR FLIGHT AND WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT DAY. SOO DESORGANIZE TOO . I EXPERIENCE THIS NOW MY MOM IS GOINF THROUGHT THE SAME STINKING THING . SOO FRUSTRATING
The airport of the CDMX, to be in one of the largest cities in the world. Without a doubt, it leaves much to be desired. The facilities are outdated and definitely the design of the facilities themselves are obsolete.
You must be very careful, because there are many incidents with respect to the screens on which the boarding doors are announced. These are the responsibility of the airport itself and often show incorrect information. Provoking until lost flights or at least, a very good run.
The information staff is not updated on the flights, the airlines advance or delay the flight at will and leave the passengers, and the airport personnel do not know how to give the information well.
Very good service, I love how the airport is very clean, and its very friendly people, airplanes, not to mention everything was cleaned, plane purchases were cheap.

A lot of staff can't speak English. I believe it's important to have more staff who can speak English in the capital's airport.

Airport was chaotic, flight info screens were not updated, personal barely spoke english, hallways narrow, not enough seating ava., signs insufficient (tunel to baggage reclaim area didn't warn that no return to connecting flights was possible, went there accidentally and had to do security check again)
It is an airport that maintains a pleasant and mostly functional level of infrastructure. A certain chaos is perceived but it is important to know how to raise your hand and ask for help.

Big airport. Not a lot of signs. Not a lot of signs in multiple languages and a lot of employees at shops inside only speak Spanish.
Every thing is okay but do not buy tequila in the duty free shop almost 1.5 times more expensive.

The airport has extensive facilities and a fast food space. In terminal 2 you have a space for a gallery.
Great so far I just dont like the stop we stay over night till the next day for our flight.Food,stores,and bathrooms are great.And chargeing posts.Will I keep going with areomexico? No.Its just a new experience.I just don't like staying over night amd possibly get at least max 2 hrs of sleep here
Signs are needed to see which door is on the ground floor and which is on the first floor.

This place is HUGE! You can get lost so easily.
On our first time there this man that works there helped us with our luggage, he asked for money and when we told him we didn't have cash or pesos he got furious and started swearing at us.
There's so much air traffic that they made us lose our connecting flight. After 2 hours in line for customer service they gave us a new flight and a hotel for the night.
I came by aerobus and made me buy another box for my dog because they did not allow it and met the requirements
