My wife's cruise was cancelled due to the virus pandemic, but AHI travel refuses to refund her money. All they will offer is a travel voucher which must be used by the end of 2022. Explained that future travel is not possible due to domestic and work responsibilities, to no avail. Not their problem, they keep the money. Unethical by any standard.

STAY AWAY FROM AHI!!!!
We booked a trip to Morocco set to leave on 3/28/20 just as COVID hit. Their fine print does everything to protect them AND KEEP YOUR MONEY FOR THEIR OWN USE. There was no refund option just a voucher to be used when they decide to honor it. Absolutely outrageous that we paid them $8,000 on time and they keep it for their own use when the world shut down. Other travel plans with the airlines and providers were understanding and refunded all monies. There were no flights to Morocco from the US or a trip. The world shut down and AHI pockets the money. No consideration for how people around the world are affected I will never use AHI !!!! I am sure this company also profited from the Governmental CAREs Act. Pocketing more monies !!!
I will also send this review to the Better Business Bureau and hopefully they can at least find out what this company is using all our money for.

We just took the Rhine Cruise from Amsterdam to Basel. I was amazed at the level of organization and detail AHI provided throughout the cruise. From airport pick up to airport drop off, from excursion to excursion, every detail was planned to a T. The AHI team who traveled with us were phenomenal. They were helpful and patient, as well as very efficient. I was also very pleased with the ease of booking my trip. AHI handled my air travel which went off without a hitch. I would love to travel with AHI again.

Update, after the review they fully refunded my parents....

Hi my parents are 90 and 78. They have traveled with you as good customers for over a decade. 9 trips in total. Everyone in hospitality has issued refunds to their guests. My parents were planning to my their last trip in April to Celebrate their 50th anniversary. My mother has contacted you many times starting March 9th. You refuse to issue her a refund. My father a 90 year old diabetic and cancer survivor is no longer able to travel due to COVID 19 and your canceling the trip.

At this time when there is such uncertainty, there...

At this time when there is such uncertainty, there has been no statement from AHI Travel. Our return flight from Europe is with in the 30 day travel ban. There has been no contact from an AHI representative regarding on how we will return from Europe or if AHI will arrange accommodations until we can return home. Additionally there has been no statement on the status of the viability of the entire trip. Given the circumstances of the world, credit for a trip within the year is the correct way to treat customers that have paid in full for a luxury trip.

I am 70 and my wife is 67. We have traveled with AHI several times. We have been good customers. We are retired and saved up so we could celebrate my milestone birthday with our two daughters. We booked a trip for June and planned on celebrating our 45th anniversary as well. We canceled the trip due to COVID-19 back in early March when pandemic was on the rise in Spain; our destination for June. Given our age and an autoimmune vulnerability one of our daughters has, we decided to cancel. We did so only because there was a deadly global pandemic impacting seniors and those with compromised immune systems. We contacted AHI and they refused to refund part of our downpayment in the amount of $1,737. As we argued with them, all travel from Spain was banned by the US State Department. AHI does not take into account circumstances like ours. Is this how they treat good repeat customers? The right thing would be to reimburse our hard-saved retirement money. AHI certainly made this a milestone birthday - cheated out of nearly two grand. I say do not use AHI for your travels. Pick someone else. I know we will.

With a no fault of our own cancellation AHI will keep all your cash possible and will not make any consideration as to the pandemic. They will make no accounting to you as to what portion of the costs they actually paid. Make your own travel arrangements and AVOID THEIR LEGAL FINE PRINT. Never again will we do business with them or any similar company. Thousands of dollars down the drain!!!!

My parents are 90 and 78. they have traveled with you 9 times. they have been good customers. They booked a trip for April to celebrate their 50th anniversary. you canceled the trip due to covid-19. tomorrow is not promised to the elderly nor is the ability to vacation in 2022???, you refuse to refund their money. you have not provided any service for their hard earned money. YOU ARE THIEVES with every day you hold their money hostage. Is this how you treat good customers? if they are not contacted today.. i will engage consumer affairs, BBB, and ripoff report. do the right thing, even if you are going bankrupt that money is not yours to spend on your business. it belong to my parents for a service you didn't provide
