Smells in the bathroom and the location is not good.

Making a comparison between MAMAIA -Ro :)) and this resort I had the impression that we got to heaven.Thanks to everyone for kindness and wonderful conditions, clean swimming pools, satisfactory breakfast, clean rooms.Vacanta was a dream ... <3

Great building layout with garden & pool.
Ambient area near to beach and nightlife.
Not cheap room rate for you who enjoy outside activity.

No too sure what to make of this place. A mixed bag. I am amazed that someone would give this 5 stars though.

I just don't see it myself.

PROS
- Very nice friendly staff
- Family room we got was good but had lots of little flaws
- Liked the main restaurant. Great breakfast included. The buffets in the evening had great themes and great choices. (A little pricey though)

CONS
- Pools weren't very good for kids I think. And I stress that this is from a kids / family point of view.
- Main Pool - had one kids area and that was quite deep. Up to neck on 2 year old. Also had events in the main pool which I thought was kind of annoying.
- The hotel has pool / lanes / canals that snake around the hotel. They have rooms facing on to them and I found that a little weird. swimming past people that are relaxing outside their room. Felt like I was in their way. None of these were suitable for kinds either. All were too deep for kids. So you couldn't go there and let the kids have a play.

This left you with the only choice for a family pool being the main pool.

The sky pool was beautiful but spoiled by a constant stream of Instagrammers posing for photos. Extremely annoying to have the view spoiled by people posing for ages while getting that perfect instaworthy photo.

- There was work going on while we were there so there was constant background noise of hammers and drills.

- The hotel looks great on photos but the surrounds of the hotel are a bit, er... slummy. It's not really a nice area and it seems a weird location for this hotel.

- The room we had was a family room and it looked great. But so many little flaws. Phone broke off wall. One power point under the sideboard was hidden under the sideboard so you needed to get on your knees to plug in charger and then you couldn't hold the phone while charging because there was not enough length due to where you had to plug it in . Light in main wardrobe did not switch off so we had light in the room at night.

- There is a main road that runs past the hotel between the hotel and the beach. So the view of the beach is not a good one.

- Price... everything within the hotel was crazy prices compared to the outside. You can get a beer for a 6th of the price of what they charged in the hotel from the shop on the corner. It was Melbourne prices there and really - they wold sell a lot more iff they were fairer. Everyone just went to the hop to get drinks and snacks.

Restaurant prices were very high too. Hence no one in them.

Would I go here again? No.

Would recommend it to anyone? No.

I would advise anyone to get a hotel further out of town in a more secluded location. And then travel into Patong if you really wanted to.

Beautiful hotel as in the picture, worthy of a postcard, more access where closer to the beach depending on whether you are in the first or the last block (4 large block of building on each side),
By cons it is not too much a hotel of our taste,
Room quite expensive for the average of the area,
Not very clean, the corners of dirty rooms, dust, we see that maintenance is quick,
All is in supplements the kind of complex or we leave the wallet nonstop,
On the other hand super very complete and varied breakfast and superb swimming pool.
The rooms are very well equipped with radio in the bathroom, shower in the ceiling, large window in the bathroom that overlooks the room, deckchair on the balcony (Deluxe room rate).
(If you are hesitating with the pool access room, they are good you have your own pool area for each room, you can directly bathe from your room, but most loungers are in the shade because of the big buildings, so no of regret for our pars)
A little mixed on the final review good for a few days with luxurious amenities but we prefer our second most private and family run hotel.

Special Mention 5 Stars to the Chef. Buffet is cuisine perfection , succulent, delightful, too good totally a feast beyond compare, I swear.the best food ever and most well presented at the right temperature, particular attention to fresh and flavour . Very very well done

Getting tired this resort. Pay for premium rooms only to hear exhaust fans and chairs screetching as they are dragged in the restaurant below at 7am onwards. Give it a miss

Very comfortable and tidy Resort. Breakfast is amazing with choices and more choices for those who don't have dietary requirements. Gluten free options low. Close to beach, and a bit of a walk to mall. Tuk tuk or taxi always close by.

Good breakfast - there are two restaurants. The location is not bad, although not in the center, there is everything nearby. The rooms are not bad (we had a new one).

Absolutely the best venue for a Thailand stay. Great service. Friendly, professional and courteous employees. Beautiful finishings and furnishings. Huge rooms, gorgeous room service menu, six different pools (5 of them connected). Right across the road from the beach, as in you walk out of the gate and BAM, you're at the beach.

Just a few steps to walk to Patong Beach Ample parking In the hotel there are two pools, the west side overlooking the beach.

Poor customer service and hospitality. Rude and slow reaction time, seems like the employees dont care.

Enjoy our stay here at gracelands phuket the food was lovely our accommadation was in the renovated section it
was very clean and comfortable.There is renovation going on but it didn't disturb us at all the only thing I would say it need new furniture in the breakfast area and paint the out side of the building which I say will happen in time .The staff are very pleasant.

I like to to put few words about Graceland hotel we stayed 9 days it was 5 star the staff were very friendly and especially Anka she is so professional and so good with the kids I will definitely come back

The swimming pool is very good, the room is quite big

Aircon was leaking in our room to the point that it s made a massive puddle, no one fixed it, staff had no idea what was going on. Asked to move to another room as our room reaked of mold, was ignored. Would not recommend spending money on this hotel 1/5 stars.

An OK resort. Plenty of pools but the whole place needs some maintenance. The new rooms were nice but the old ones are not worth what they charge. Buffet breakfast was sub par.

Had a great time the entertainers were very friendly by welcoming people to the resort, including everyone and always having a friendly smile.. its clean, family friendly and a great place to stay

Pool is good. Location is ok too. Friendly staff. We immediately took care of the necessary matters.
However, there seems to be a problem with the drainage of the bathroom.

Fantastic! Deluxe pool room view. Comfortable beds, staff helpful and friendly, loved the swim up bar and beautiful gardens around the pool. Lots of choices for breakfast and found the prices for room service reasonable. Will definitely come again

The hotel is old, the rooms need a thorough upgrade, only the territory and the proximity of the beach pleases

Location is great, next to beach. Great pools with beautiful garden. Many pools to choose from. Paid extra for newer rooms, which was worth it. Although you can find great deals on Groupon for the same thing. Will only come back if I can find a cheap deal.

Wow look so you want to chill or party do it all. Place is not to far away from party area but close. Resort is great. One beach or swim in so many super looks.

The resort/hotel is very large and I mean very large. The rooms were as expected via review and has all the amenities.
We got a top floor room which I requested but was not able to get the new rooms.
WiFi is not that good. It connects but most of the time it loses connectivity to the internet and have to call the reception to reset it. Note you will only get two Devices connected and cannot add more even though these day you have 3 devices per person.
Breakfast at the main restaurant isn't that bad however the only thing I have seen change is the juice and most other dishes are the same.
They have very large pools and if you are a lap swimmer like my wife then you will enjoy the sunset pool which is about 150m long. Note that swimming pool opens from 8am.
We took a tour from the lobby but found we could have gone for alot cheaper. Just do your diligence.

One thing I can say that Graceland can improve on is the customer service at the front desk. Not to say that they were rude or anything but really needs improvement.

One other thing is you can hire a motorbike from the hotel spa. It seems that they outsource this to another company. You need to bring your passport and at minimum 400 baht for the hire per day. There are other motor bikes as t 600 baht and 1200 baht.

Overall this has been a pleasant experience.

A very very nice place. The staff are really friendly. The rooms are modern and clean and the pools are somethis else. Perfect location.

Love this hotel. Provides for the whole family. Breakfast served and great.

I smell the bathroom and I'm weak in water pressure.
Facilities are down and the swimming pool is dirty.
The sky pool was flooded with oil, and the main pool could not get in because the leaves and dust were not cleaned.
The keeper is kind, but the other staff are blunt.
It's not as bad as it gets, and the minibar and pool bar are all expensive compared to other hotels.

Graceland is an amazing resort with a great buffet breakfast, pools and swim up bars. The pools can get quite busy though and people tend to leave their towels on the chairs to reserve them. This was really annoying as it was always hard to find somewhere to sit. There is also someone signing at the Belgian Beer Cafe every night. They always had a lovely voice but played on until late at night which was frustrating if you re trying to have an early sleep. The only downside about the room was that the air con was extremely loud and some of the settings did not work. Other than this, the room was great and the location of the hotel was perfect.

I've stayed here a few times over the years, and so far the Graceland has been my favorite. It's a good location, just outside of where things become more touristy and loud. It's directly across the road from the beach. The pools are gorgeous, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean.

It was a good hotel. The pools are great and it s nice how it s a 30 second walk to the beach. There are some wonderful Thai shops around also which is great. The only bad thing was that it was really far from the airport and the check-in was long.

Excellent hotel!
It was in March 2014, near the center, the sea 10 meters from the hotel, three pools. The only minus the Internet in Lobby is bad and you need to buy in the rooms, if you need to constantly buy a local SIM with 3G!

Kind service. Great location close to the beach and very close to the center of things. The hotel is clean. Beautiful and well equipped rooms. Breakfast is great. Just great. A disadvantage on the wireless network is not always available in the rooms.

Hotel has good facilities and is well located. Room finishes a bit outdated and could do with a makeover to add to guest experience. Accommodation rates are in line with a 4 star hotel but if you're looking for a bit of extra you should go for 5 star and expect to pay more. Pool facing rooms in the new section is preferred. The many pool facilities and pool bars are a plus and will be sure to please those loving the chill around the pool. Overall a good experience if you're trying to stay within budget. Food & drinks are pricey as with any other hotel in Phuket. Some maintenance to the building will greatly improve the cosmetic impression of the Hotel.
