Its little you will find little friends there (flies) since its an open airport. Great service, I flew through American airlines my bags got left at miami int airport and they helped me get them back all the way back to where i was staying at in santo domingo safe and sound it was over 100 miles away but they delivered it to my door. You will find line only if several planes arrive at the same time but normally its calm. Plan to arrive 2 hours early if your flying out from there.

Excellent for the proximity to all the cibao.

Excellent for the proximity to all the cibao.
Unfortunately when there are many flights it is chaos ... they must separate the rows by flight order or place more personnel than the east.

Travel from Santiago to JFK 5/15/2018. A very badly educated staff. Of the 6 staff that stop you for the same procedure of teaching the passport with the flight receipt, 5 of them were very respectful, an attitude of unbearable superiority, treat all passengers as criminals. They lack courtesy, and very bad attitude toward passengers. We were 4 people traveling and we all agreed. At the DutyFree, I asked how many bottles of alcohol were allowed to enter the US and they told me that the number is 6 bottles per person, and I bought 4. In New York City, only 2 bottles per person are allowed. I guess the rest know it. It is my second time traveling through this airport this year I thought that the bad attitude and the lack of education of a few months ago was a product of the time and number of flights that day. Regrettable it was a horrible experience. I agree with the procedures organized and the laws even one of the travelers who was with us is part of the Armed Forces of the USA; Disagreement is a staff that does not know how to give good service. The brave does not take away the Cortez!

I feel very disappointed because they opened my suitcase and stole a gift that I brought for a friend.
They did it secretly, that's what bothers you, it is better that they ask one if they want something.

One of the greatest small international airports I've had the pleasure of traveling through. Fast friendly service, never a long wait for anything. I've been through this airport a few dozen times.

The Covid -19 measures are established, the treatment is not in all the employees, some very friendly, others quite the opposite, the super mega controlled internet that should not be. I had already heard comments and corroborated it, I lost a bottle of perfume. GUCCI, which I had in my briefcase, was stolen from me .... I hope in their meetings and together they discuss these issues for the prestige of a group not to be stained by bad. Qualified personnel or act to work in an airport must be 100% reliable because these elements damage the reputation of such an important place with such an influx of public.

The immigration lines can be very long. They should make it easier for Dominican nationals to enter their own country. I am a resident of the US, when I enter via santiago, 90% of the people on the lines are Dominican nationals. They should have an eletronic kiosk and automatic enterance for a Dominican citizen.

For a person who lives from Villa Altagracia to MonteCristi, it is definitely the most recommended to use. Good attention, do not go through all the plugs of Santo Domingo.

People are regularly more friendly, you feel less bureaucracy in the process.

Every time I can, I travel through Santiago.

Please reshape the areas with example technologies chargers, iPad etc. Have airlines use modern airplanes with technology since everything is via a mobile phone and most of the airplanes that I have taken personally do not have any advanced technology.

On the other hand airport should not charge unless you want to pay for parking you should not have to pay to pick up a person.
The issue of delivery,
The lights of the avenues to reach such an important point that it is Cibao airport for God's sake. It should have avenue many lights and modern signs with signs including marked streets.

Police in the avenues and airport area. 24hrs and please replace the burned lights of the avenues.

Thank you :)

I packed in the morning and unpacked when I arrived home; therefore, I knew what was in my luggage. At home, I was missing a perfume and a forehead thermometer. It is frustrating when people have access to your personal stuff and disposed of them at their choice.

.The flights are almost never delayed, at this Cibao International Airport the passenger demand that exists in Cibao has to be solved, which had to be transferred to Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata. the airport has all the basic services bars aereolinia also rencar there are bars at the entrance that give good service food places 24 hours a day ..

What a terrible experience, I traveled with my granddaughters one of 9 months and another of 4 years we spent almost 5 hours waiting in line without food or bathroom. The soldiers who were on duty doing crown virus tests were worse than us without water without rest etc. etc. etc.
