How is the ground transportation here at STI? We need to take a bus/limo or something to LifeStyle Crown Residence Suites, which is an hour away, any suggestions? POP Airport is like $200 more. which is 16 miles away from our resort.

Open Air airpot. Went there when it first opened, i think the first commercial flight and have kept going since. The airport is very small compared to any developed nation but in the DR they have 7-8 International Airports, so no need to make it big. Food court is super limited and pricey. Security guards and Baggage handlers hustle you for money while inside Immigration and when outside, people setting you lottery tickets are all over. Aiport Security is there and they look the other way. ONly reason why it gets a 3 star is because it offers 15+ daily flights from the NYC area and its close to home in the DR

This airport is amazing. I lost my passport there the other day and they found it and held it for me. I did not expect that. I was so happy to find out that they had it. Saved me so much time and money. Also it's easily accessible with very short wait times. I had a great trip to Santiago, it's a really beautiful city
