Absolutely no efficiency at check-in causing the flight to be delayed. No organization at security, and no organization during boarding from the tarmac. I recommend coming early to your flight to leave yourself lots of time and save on the stress.

Very backward attitude. No caring towards the environment. Food is Overpriced for the quality you get. They only serve plastic water bottles and will refuse to fill your own portable bottle or coffee mug. They use plastic straws and plastic spoons everywhere (which could be easily made of wood)Very bad attitude towards people who try to be ecological. And very ignorant about plastic waist. It s not that hard.
The airport is quite comfortable and modern in design. There is no indication to facilitate passengers. Generally quick checks. The sore point are the outdoor parking lots which in my opinion have too high prices.
Venice ALARM CLOCK !! Don't just make cash with shops, the minimum like clean bathrooms and waiting rooms with adequate capacity must be guaranteed !! The strategy works to make cash: there are not so many seats so people are forced to sit in the various bars and of course order!
Such a tiny airport for an incredible amount of flights. No place to sit while waiting. Very crowded and hot. If you want to use wifi, you have to agree to share your information and receive ads. My flight was delayed for hours because there was only one airstrip working. Many people in the plane lost their connection flights. Totally waste of money and time. So disappointed.
Today bad staff to check in, departure for Albania. Operator responds with arrogance. Poor elderly people who feel the arrogance of the young check-in operator unable to do their job.
We say that the generally good: check in faster security checks as well, the prices of bars and shops inside are a bit 'high but oh well. The free WiFi at the airport does not work so please improve on this.
With regards to the response from the airport, I communicate that WiFi was there and we could safely connect but actually it was unusable because it was so slow that it could not even complete a google search or a WhatsApp message.
As an airport it will be excellent. But as a parking lot for normal people who come to pick up a family member, a colleague, a friend, it is not possible that there is not a single space, even distant, at a modest or free amount, especially considering that it is normal for there to be an aircraft delay or baggage claim. Now all parking lots have costs that eventually pay them the difference in low ticket prices. ABSURD
We were at Marco Polo Airport for the first time. For seniors, this is a challenge especially if they are traveling for the first time. I must say that I was surprised by the orderliness, cleanliness, transparency and friendliness of the staff. When we returned home we had pleasant feelings because we knew that everything would be fine-
Pray you don't need your bags delivered. The VCE lost baggage office's already Italian hours (10 - 12:30 and 14:00-18:00) are just for show - of over 15 attempts to reach them on a weekday during those hours, I got through once. The rest of the time, it would just ring and ring, or else play hold music for about ten minutes and then ring and ring. When I did get through and asked if our bags would be delivered that day (having called before noon for bags that arrived the night before) I was told 'possibly.' (this turned out to be: 'No.')
If you're going to have a six and a half hour work day, you might at least answer the phone during a couple of those hours.
The exterior is very uncomfortable. But the controls are super fast and the shopping area is beautiful. Free Wi-Fi only for a few hours and the power outlets are in columns almost always without seats around ...
Nice but not efficient. Every time I land here I am sure I have to spend another hour waiting for suitcases that never arrive or border police who pretend to quickly check 200 people in 1/2 policemen ... more and more disappointed by how we present ourselves in the eyes of the world.
A very expensive trap for those who have to bring passengers to the airport or wait for their arrival. Short parking stops limited to a few minutes that are not enough, in an airfield almost equipped with advertising space, to understand where and when the people who are waiting for or from where and when you need to leave. Functional only to the organized tourist influx that goes to the ex-Venice now Didneyland. Delivery of slow baggage transport buses to crumbling aircraft, ladders often without shelter from the rain.
Third world airport, badly managed. There is talk of anti-covid rules and in response they have launched 4 flights from 4 nearby gates, 9, 10, 11, 12, practically 800/900 people piled up.
I will avoid this airport in the future !!! On 05.01.2021 I had the flight and they didn't let me get on the flight even though I had all the documents in order. I had to buy the ticket for the next day (with my money!). The next day I flew without any problems! I have anger on me for certain behavior! They have made me waste time, money and nerves!
I would like to thank the personnel in charge of passenger safety control, and in particular Mr. Andrea Porpiglia (matr. # 5945), for helping me with extreme kindness and efficiency in resolving a problematic situation at the time of my passage around 13:30 approximately 01/04/2016. Still a sincere thanks. Prof. Alberto Munari - Geneva
There is ample parking. There are precise indications of the landings and flights. However, once the car is parked it is not easy to find the entrance if one goes there for the first time.
Not sure The distance and the number of people on the shuttles must be improved. You can not crowd 50 people into a shuttle it is logical as you can see in the photos that they are all stuck together. THERE WAS NO TEMPERATURE MEASURED
The best and most comfortable airport in Veneto. Excellent departure area and duty free. Expanding now and growing. We always hope for more intercontinental flights! Recommended.
Venice is a romantic city for couples. But the airport, is definitely not romantic. Here is my experience of the terrible Venice Airport.
Arrival: After waiting on the tarmac for half an hour, we came off the plane and walked into a line of about a hundred people. These people were only served by one man to make this more painful. Our bags took about another half hour to come onto the carousel. Once we came out, we had to look for our transfer but it was impossible to find our man.
Departure: We arrived at the airport and it looked like they were still building it. It looked like a s***hole with weeds, dirt and a pathway that was as narrow as it can get. We walked through the terminal to find our check in while avoiding all the dumb passengers standing in the way. It looked like there was only one elevator for the whole airport. We came to the check in and there was only one check in line for 100 people. After a nice meal, we went through security and were pushed in front of by some "important people". The line was also not acceptable. However, if there is one good thing about this airport is there are a good range of shops, post security.
Info points closed, poorly informed staff, zero availability. I asked to come back to get my daughter a bottle of water and I was denied, poor services, distributor, in the parking lot, detached. Is this the Italy we deserve? Mah ...
It is a well-organised airport. Getting to car rentals and later, returning a car, was easy and straightforward. Nice interior at departure and arrival halls.
Landed from Bari, I go to the bathroom and there is no paper in 2 out of 3 stalls, there is no soap in all the dispensers and there is no shadow of disinfectant gel outside the bathrooms! The third airport in Italy! A shame.
Bursting at the seams... mad house, not clearly marked and designed to torture humans. The customs stamp people were nice, but the refund people if you go to main area are really bitchy if you don't have a slip from their company. Avoid at all costs. NOTHING past passport control (ok one little cafe serving EVERYONE with nice workers) but REALLY lame nonetheless.
I love flying into Marco Polo Airport. My grandfather was born an hour north Quero. We love staying in the area and of course Venice! So beautiful here.
"This afternoon I had the need to park my car at the Marco Polo airport parking lot. The family member by phone informed me of the possibility of a long wait for baggage claim, so I headed for Park 2 - stop The baggage claim was contrary to what was foreseen and was speedy, therefore the parking stop continued for only 16 (sixteen) minutes, at a cost of 10.00 (ten). The ticket photo, speaks for itself. Because it is a suggestion for other reckless users of this service. Nothing else can be added, as it is easy to guess, freedom of thought and judgment always end up breaking against the rules always governed by the usual suspects. Alas "theft" and "robbery" is described in jurisprudence in a way that is not comparable to this case. What makes you smile, in the face of such an outlay, is the warning that it is an unattended parking lot, and therefore cannot be held liable for theft or damage ... "

We departed VCE on Friday, June 24, 2016 via Delta. Extremely long, hot walk from Water Taxi to terminal. Poor signage and no one to direct us where to go. People and lines everywhere. We finally found the check-in area to drop off our bags (since we checked-in online), Only one agent was taking bags. We left that line for the shorter one for passengers who hadn't checked in yet. That line had 4-5 agents, and our wait wasn't too bad there. We left there to find the security check-point.
No signage anywhere to tell us where to go and no one to ask. We finally determined that security and gates were on the upper level. We went up there to find lines of people everywhere...seemingly going nowhere. Finally got into the right line and waited a very long time to go through security.
With only a few minutes left before our flight we thought we had made it just in time. Only to find another long line to check our passports...for the 3rd time. Plane was loading when we finally got to the gate.
We then sat on the plane, at the gate, for about 1 hour so they could re-arrange luggage to balance out the load.
Avoid this airport at all costs, until they figure out a solution. If you must, please allow about 4 hours to get through everything.
In my opinion, this airport is not safe. In the US, the fire marshal would no doubt shut them down. If there was a fire or other emergency, I am certain that the outcome would not be good. There is absolutely no way everyone could be evacuated fast and safely.
Only those who have a ticket are allowed. This is strange, because there is a self check in inside. If you do not have a boarding pass / ticket, you need a payment receipt just in case
A small, hygienic, comfortable and intuitive airport. No trace of mosquitoes that flood the city it serves. It has good views of Venetian gullies. Comfortable seats after security control. Before the control there is a landing at the edge of a plant that is also optimal for the tired traveler's rest. The staff is friendly, as well as the shops. Done at 2'50. All this without speaking of the conveyor belts with classical music that make the company's option to walk during the first journey after the good reception when disembarking from the ship. Silly, and all, that you have to take the plane.
The check in stuff needs more training from their leadership, the service was horrendous at best. The woman who served me didnt even bother to give me a tracking tag for my luggage knowing that i am flying to usa, which is in another continent.
Very small airport. Go directly to Venice thanks to the boat. 27 A / R to the center. Small tip back: go to the beginning of the line, because once the boat full they do not make the other stops. Take the San Antonio for example.
Everything perfect even the slot machine of the parking lots ... appropriately disappeared the places where you can park for free or at a reasonable piece
Exactly how no Airport should be. No shuttles, 100 us water cabs and far away from anywhere.... Their lounge even worse. In the city of glass they give you wine in a coca cola glass. So bad and not elegant at all although they are claiming it . Useless. Avoid !!!
The new departures area is open. Very beautiful. Crowded but well managed. Very surprising is the presence of annoying beggars in the external area in front of the parking and entrance. One wonders what the security of this airport is if this type of presence is allowed ...
WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!!!!!! 30 seats on the whole airport.. People are almost dying on the floor, all flights delayed or cancelled!! THE MOST HELLISH PLACE IN ITALY!!!!
Any different for family with small babies! There is special way for family But this going with main flow any way. And I hope it's related to current situation with covid.
My experience was good, we took a Venice-Madrid flight and to check in well, the signaling to arrive is regular, but inside the airport it is not bad, I do not see it as bad as people say, there are a few people of information by the airport that help you in what you tell them
