For some time the short break is not more than 10 minutes but of 7 .. Arrival, load the luggage of my friends, we leave and we did 8 minutes of queue because too many people had to leave at that time. Result? We paid 6 euros and 50 for breaching 4 minutes. Thieves!

Customs process for tax feee is an absolute disaster! When I tried to get a customs stamp the agent refused to stamp it claiming i had to have less than a 3 hour delay in the connecting airport for a stamp! He didn t understand the bags are checked trough to the final destination in America so there was no way to show purchases. He was arrogant, rude, condescending and is truly Anti-American. When I asked for his supervisor, he refused. He also refused to provide his name. He threatened to call the police for asking his name!
He needs to be fired. WORST EXPERIENCE ever and his attitude ruined a perfectly nice trip.

Worst airport I have done so far! There are no signs in English when you get there by car. Inside it's a real mess for orientation and on top of that the staff is far from pleasant. Maybe a smile will brighten their day .... We don't understand what is being said on the microphone. Only positive point: rather clean.

We had a positive experience in this nice airport ,plus i could park my car for free in 2 weeks as I have a handicap sign ,not like in Denmark where you have to pay full price ,they was all very helpful and nice !

If you've hired a vehicle, it can be difficult to find your way back to the airport afterwards. In the reserved car park, some places are not signposted when exiting the elevators. Direct access to the airport is on the 2nd level and hidden near one of the elevators. Then there is a 10 minute walk. You will have to go down one level to check in your luggage in the hold to then go up to the gates.
Allow room for maneuver accordingly for your departure knowing that there are traffic jams in the region.

I just transferred from an EasyJet international flight from Gatwick to a local flight to Bari. The service from the transfer staff was amazing. Walked all the way from the arrival door to the departure lounge in 5 minutes. Staff incredibly polite and helpful and a spotless modern airport. I just asked the bar to fill a water bottle for me as I ordered a coffee and that was also painless and free. Coffee was 1.50. I think great value. If I have to change flights again on my way home I would make an effort to change here. Nice feel to the place too.

Optimization doesn't exist in this airport. For an international flight, you need to check your bag, pass through the security, then pass through customs. Each of these is another 15+ minutes line that snakes through crowds of people with everyone standing in the way. You have staff that help you out but the critical chokes are still super slow. For example, the security line has a queue that you get in before multiple scanners. You can't take off your stuff until you are in the area since you can't grab the bins. Put more people into the bins area would speed it up 2x. Then you have customs with twice as many windows as staff. Since you know how many people booked flights, the schedule of custom officers should be dynamically optimized.

The controls seemed very fast and I did not notice the disorganization complained of by others: of course, there are no painstaking indications since the entrance, but with a little logic and attention you can get to your gate without problems. Otherwise, however, the staff seemed competent and helpful to me.
The only drawback: the prices of the restaurants are crazy, but you are still at the airport and - especially - in Venice.
