Ive contacted these people multiple times to get a quote and/or get some questions answered about their process. Nobody will call me back. I was told to use the website quote system. No response. The lady that answers the phone acts like they are a secret society and wont answer any questions. Just ridiculous.
I own a machine shop and recently emailed a request for quote to Advanced Surface Technology. I had 8 small stainless steel parts which needed nickel plated. No one ever replied to my request although I sent my request to the email provided on their website. I took my parts down myself for the plating we needed. When the parts were ready, I received a call and was informed the cost was $200. I called and spoke to Mike, the Vice President, and said I never received the quote I had requested. I never would have or will again use Advanced Technology. When speaking to Mike, the Vice President, he was very indifferent and said, "that's our minimum price". I asked if there was anything he could do about it and he refused. I mentioned I was shopping for a place to take future parts for other plating and it was obvious he could have cared less. Such a bad experience! This lack of customer service and indifference is what I would never show to my customers. It's critical to offer fair pricing and outstanding products in such a competitive market. 8-18-16
Great nickel plating! Except they hire Nazis, hopefully they have since fired this Nazi loser or they really don't deserve anyone's business. If you make your hate publicly accessible, everyone will find out sooner or later Ed Lif Nelson. Here's some photos of him being a good little Nazi thug, playing pretend as a tough guy. I even included a photo of him and his cronies assaulting people at a concert!
Wonderful people and the plating they do is perfect. We always take them challenging parts to plate and they always deliver.
