Concierge very professional and the grounds /location is gorgeous. A lot of great amenities and the room itself is nice. Bathroom is large, some of the features feel a bit.. cheap for the price. The biggest issue we had was being able to hear our neighbors. Felt like the doors and walls were paper thin.

A bit pricey, but rooms and pool area are Incredible! The restaurant is very good. The views of the Harbor are gorgeous! Would definitely go back!

Here as a guest to a guest of a professional conference. Hotel did a great job with all of the food they catered and great amenities for those not participating in the conference. Would stay here again!

Nice hotel. Only complaint I have is our room was not available. Tried to put us in a room.that looked like a business meeting room with a Murphy bed. The parlor suite is not a comfortable room.

Not worth the trip there. Bathroom quite a distance from restaurant. Service was slow. No small plates for bread which we had to ask for. Bill automatically Included 18 % gratuity. Food was just okay. Would not return.

Well I was here cause I took my son to the staple center to watch monster jam. We stopped here at the JW well we was early and I am a Marriott reward member. I stopped at the lounge area where the bartender was very delightful. She had a very great service. I recommend that if you ever are in area stop by. She made us feel at home. This is why I always make it a habit to stay at a Marriott. The staff here are friendly and helpful The server is by the Glance. At the bar!!100% was great to be here.

I didn t know what to expect when I first came to this hotel but left amazed. This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful view of San Diego & Coronado Bay. The rooms were very spacious, updated and clean. I got a two queen room with a pool view and was amazed at all the space our family had in the room. Our bathroom had a shower and bathtub! The place had four different places to eat and the three out of the four we tried had great food. What I love most about this hotel is how they cater to families. They have kid activities at the pool daily, two kids pools (one for adults if you want a little seclusion), and even had an affordable kids buffet for dinner at Crown s Landing restaurant! I love how the hotel is secluded from town but easily accessible by their shuttle that runs every 30 min. In the evenings they have someone performing in the lobby, and with the summer feel when we stayed there, it really felt like a vacation. My son even said it feels like we are in Hawaii . I definitely can t wait to stay here again.

Beautiful place.. greeted with a refreshing Champagne while checking in. Literally a 5min walk to a beach. It gets chilly after 6 so bring a long sleeved shirt, jacket. A view from our room. Enjoy!

I have to wait more than hours to finally get a room. As one also mentioned, cold stone face, no apologies and no sorry. The hotel has to be responsible for their own mistakes for not having enough room ready and not let customers take that. Won t come back here again

Truly incredible resort!!! The grounds were beautiful, the pools were perfect, and the staff were all truly amazing and so very sweet and helpful! Not to mention the complimentary champagne upon check-in...simply perfection!

This place is well taken care of staff is incredible and the rooms are comfortable might be a little biased because it is my name but I love it please go there and stay can't beat it when you're in San Diego

The hotel and rooms are nice. It's quiet and kind of far away from everything, which can be nice.

However, I had a bad experience with my car rental with their "on-location partner", Avis. The representative rarely shows up at this location, they mismanage your reservations and will charge you the incorrect amount with no receipt or warning (make sure to check your bank transactions if you rent from here). The morning I was supposed to pickup my rental, the guy didn't show up and I needed to take a $20 uber to a different location... This inconvenience resulted in picking up the car about 3hrs later than expected. They don't communicate well with the Loew's hotel, which also results in being charged extra fees, etc. (without warning). I've spent over a week sending emails and making calls with the hotel and Avis, and Avis is still refusing to refund the correct amount. They've made no effort to make the situation better- even considering the fact that they charged me the wrong amount to begin with.

The $39 per day parking charge rubbed me the wrong way in addition to the resort daily fees. Especially after finding out if I booked by third party site the parking is included. Way to incentive customer to book directly with you.

Very nice resort in the middle of nowhere. If you taxi in, your are theirs for the rest of your stay. The prices are high, but the views are fantastic. The pizza from the cafe is not great. If you order it, you best be starving or you will be real disappointed. The drinks are overpriced and food is ok. Turkey club from room service is meh. My room was nice, but the air would not turn off. It was always freezing. If you are in Building 5, cut through the pool to get there. Much faster.

I have stayed here twice for conferences and have had great experiences both times. Staff was friendly and responsive. Rooms were always clean and the food always hot and ready. First floor pool side rooms are a plus!

We loved our stay here, even though it was just for one night. I would definitely go back for a longer stay...The resort is huge, has a great pool, tennis court, lots of tables outside on the terrace with city view, Starbucks in the lobby, parking on site. Greatly recommend

The hotel is nice and staff is polite. I think the resort fee is ridiculous for what you actually get. The biggest thing we used was the shuttle, and we had planned on using it as part of our trip. They take your name down, but don t turn people away once it s full? Makes no sense, and you can end up crammed and standing even if you were the first on the list. They also had a gal in a wheelchair and didn t know if they could get the wheelchair shuttle for her. I was kind of shocked to overhear that type of conversation, especially with all of the ADA laws in place. The shuttles need to be running if they are busy enough and not just once an hour and they need to honor the space for the people who follow directions and put their name on the list.

The food is also pretty expensive on the resort, so I would definitely take advantage and leave whenever possible. The concierge was kind enough to talk to us about public transportation, which made up for a lot of the shuttles downfalls.

Also- I really don t like the rule that they have to enter your room every 24 hours. This was our honeymoon- if we have the do no disturb sign- that means do not disturb. I don t understand how entering my room every 24 hours is for guest safety. Makes little sense as they may not even see me in my room.

Nice resort. Restrictive parking given they're near nothing. The bar staff had their moments--when they were busy--'don't waste my time',...when they weren't, they were funny, attentive, and engaging.....loved the latter. Same with housekeeping.--they were awesome or not, nothing in-between.

This is not definitely a 4 star hotel but could be. We booked 5 rooms last November for a stay this past week in July and requested all the rooms together. When we arrived, they had us in 3 different buildings! After complaining, we wound up in building 3 & building 5.

The rooms and facilities are however nice with good views of the bay or pool depending on room location. There are not much planned activities other than the early morning exercise bike class.

If you are here to just "park" yourself on your room balcony or by the pool, you will be very pleased. If you want more to do and travel into San Diego, look elsewhere.

Great spot. Indoor bar is well stocked with good appetizers. Nice views of Ocean all around. Easy walk to the beach and friendly staff. Restaurants has gone through several evolutions but us worth a try. Sunday brunch is consistently good.

Except for the juice bar, this place does not have anything great to offer. Service was average and room are okay, especially for $300+ a night.

For brunch, the service was extremely slow. The waffles were low quality and they used canned whip cream (instead of fresh cream). Given how expensive this place this, I would have expected more.

I am a Starwood gold member and travel quite a bit for work. Love to venture out and try new hotels but I won't be returning to this hotel in the future.

I'm in not too crazy about this place. The buildings smelled like a high school in gym. The service on the patio was practically non-existent. They're clearly short-handed with no management presence.

Me and Ma lady is celebrating her birthday week at Loews Coronado Hotel and it couldn't be more perfect. First of, we were given a welcome champagne. And after a long flight, it is very much appreciated. The staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The hotel itself is gorgeous and it has a lot of amenities; as when you choose to just relax and not leave the place, you wont get bored- they have 3 pools, 2 jacuzzi, tennis and basketball court, yoga session every morning, spinning class, and a gym. They also provide a million dollar view whether its from the marina, the pool, or the beach. They provide a top notch service where they will try everything to accomodate your needs and wants! They clean and make your bed everyday, change your towels, replenish your coffee cups and coffee pods. If you are too lazy to leave your bed and just want an in room dining (whether it is breakfast, lunch, and dinner) they have that too. And you dont have to wait long- 30 to 45 max. As for the hotel dining, they have 3 restaurants: the silver strand (where we go for our breakfast- its nice to start your day healthy), The Cays Lounge (Dine and after dinner drinks, with live music during the weekend), and the amazing Crown Landing where we celebrate the birthday dinner. The food is super delicious, the view is romantic, and the service is just ultimate! They made the celebration perfect! They also provide a free shuttle service if you want to go to coronado downtown. They have a car rental booth if you want to tour around san diego in your own pace. And they have that amazing gondola ride if you want to explore Coronado Cays. Last but not least, It is always appreciated when the staff just remember your name everytime (and pronounce it right too!). It never fails to put a smile in our faces. Best vacation ever! Thank you Loews Coronado!

Nice
