I ordered 2 Audix rackmount kit. Paid 2 day air shipping. The guys told me that the two items were in stock. I placed the order on Monday to have the two pieces on Wednesday. Long story short. They did not have one of the items and the shipment did not arrive on Wednesday. They also lied to me. The ordered one of the items form Audix which are in Californa. There is no way I was going to the the item by Wednesday from California. POOR, BAD SERVICE. Now I have to spend extra money NEXT DAY AIR in shipping. VERY Dissapointed with ADORAMA.

I have bought a couple of lenses from the store, via phone in the distant past, and online in more recent times. The pricing is as good as you're going to find anywhere for u.s. specific ( as opposed to black market, grey market, or imported product not meant for sale in the u.s.) product and often times they have specials where you can get a couple of extra accessories or an extended warranty included in the price. The product always ships on time, and arrives in perfect condition.
I did once have to return a lens ( the lens itself was fine, but it didn't suit my needs as I thought it would) and the process was as easy as it could possibly be for a mail-order shop.

Love, love, love this store. Their prices are sometimes better than in B&H. Staff is always very helpful. The last time I went there, one of the staff members could recall very specific things about something that I was looking for without looking it up.

I ordered a printer and it never showed up to my house, when I contact customer service they told me that UPS had to do an investigation. They did that and contacted me about the situation and confirmed everything but that was about a month ago and now customer service keeps telling me that UPS didn't approve the right claim so they have to send another claim. I spoke to UPS over 4 times since then and they said they closed the case and Adorama has had me go back and forth back and forth just to get this simple thing resolved its ridiculous. No other company has ever been this hard to get a straight answer

Longtime supporter, I recommend them to people see...

Longtime supporter, I recommend them to people seeking my advice, and routine shopper. After a long debate as a in studio and mobile photographer in Miami I decided to make the switch with the help of great staff at adorama to Broncolor.

In the process I received the PO quote and it's now 2 weeks waiting for adorama to review gear sent to them to complete the exchange process so I can fulfill the PO quote that was sent to me.
Make it so bad the item that needs review is a profoto A1. Ridiculous. Have an intern attach it to a body, fire it up & complete the inspection process.

This headache has resulted in me purchasing 2x b10's and my co worker doing 2x broncolor siros from B&H who took adorama's quote matched and beat it, thank you Yossi. Other vendors are out there especially in New York and Miami that operate much faster. As a pro photographer, I have clients whose shoots need to be completed. If I'm spending that type of money, I'd expect a better process especially since I'm depending on your assistance.

So I dump profoto only to repurchase the brand and new 2 broncolor siros from another vendor. Now I do need to purchase 2 final more broncolor siros to complete the new studios equipment list for usage. So we'll see what adorama will do. But at this price they've almost made me walk away from broncolor which would've cost the vendor a customer. Fortunately my team convinced me to stick with them. And after discussions with other photographers and seeing first hand I'm glad I'm with bron. We'll see what week 3 holds for me and adorama. Stay tuned folks.

Posting this review after a week of silence from Adorama customer service. Following 3 delivery attempts (all 3 arrived damaged), I still don't have my keyboard or a refund.

48 days have passed. No keyboard. No refund.

Something is broke with the process at Adorama, and despite asking for escalation to management, it appears no one there cares enough about customers to analyze what's broke and why.

I've purchase a few items from Adorama in the past...

I've purchase a few items from Adorama in the past but nothing of this magnitude in price, savings, or quantity. The experience was great. I had concerns as this was part of a group buy and I wasn't clear on several aspects, but all in all I was very impressed with the process. I will be looking to Adorama more often moving forward.

Previously had given a one star due to late delivery and product was not packaged properly however Nancy reached out to get more information and was able to help me out so koodos to being responsive and listening to the customer.

I would order again from there given their prices are competitive and customer service was responsive.

After the hiccups outlined further down in this review, Leah, one of Adorama's services managers, did a great job of hunting down the problem and getting me the camera by the originally agreed upon time, jumping through a number of hoops to do so!

Everything arrived as expected and mint condition and I have no complaints.

I cannot give them a 5-star review given the problems initially encountered, but am happy to jump them up to 4-stars given the pricing and the quality. I'll also shop from them again.

Great online ordering process and pricing, poor execution. I'm in the midst of ordering a 1DX-M2 (an expensive piece of equipment) and additional components from Adorama as I type; while the ordering process was simple, and pricing very competitive, they seem to have issues with their delivery shop. I placed the order this past Sunday and leveraged their "expedited 1-3 day business day delivery", so I expected to have the the package in hand by Thursday (tomorrow) at the latest.

The order processed and associated confirmation (both from Adorama and UPS) indicated a Thursday delivery time frame after the product shipped Monday evening. Checking in on the delivery Tuesday morning, I noticed that UPS returned the package to Adorama due to issues with "hazardous materials irregularities". This triggered an "It's Been Delivered!" email to me, which, while technically true, it wasn't delivered to me, but rather back to Adorama. I then called Adorama that same morning and reached their offshore Care center in the Philippines. The representative was very nice and said she would ensure the camera was reshipped to me so that it reached me by the originally promised Thursday date. Further, she said she'd email me when the package was shipped. Great.

Tuesday evening, no email from the Care department, but I received a notification that the camera was being shipped Next Day and would reach me today, Wednesday. Great, everything is still on track. I go back into the UPS tracking system later that evening and guess what I see? Yep, the camera is being sent back to Adorama a second time for the very same reason. Two attempts, two issues.

Accordingly, I called back and spent the last 30 minutes on the phone with the offshore folks again as there is no one in NY to assist (after also sending an email last night). I'm now waiting for a supervisor from NY to call me help me through the process, but its pretty disappointing that an order of this size (and basic in nature...it's just a camera package) is encountering so many issues and I'm the one that has to follow up at each step of the process to make sure everything is working correctly.

I'm willing to revise the rating pending a call from NY, but at this point, my first major purchase with Adorama is not going well.

I went to buy a new canon lens and was told they had the same lens used in mint condition. After looking at the used version I was sold, it was in perfect condition plus it came with a tripod mount. I got additional discounts on everything I purchased even the warranty. I saved well over $500 by taking a quick trip to the store. Thanks Adorama!

I love Adorama, I think they have the best customer service, and best price. I usually call Dan or Danny from there customer service. He ll work with you to find you the best deal possible! I stopped using amazon and B&H photo the day I found out about Adorama. I been there customer for 3 years now, if there s a problem with your order, they ll work with to get that fix. I recommend them!

Went to check a chromebook what they have in stock in the store before buying. They didn't have it on display. I asked if I can see it before buying but they said no. I asked then if they have a return policy if I don't like it since I couldn't check it, the answer was: they will only replace it (when is broken) no returns. Since I didn't want to buy something without seeing it I just left. Very disappointed with their customer services and policies.

So here we go!

I was at the store and i requested a lowepro bag on thursday and the guy at the counter told me, that the bag will arrive on monday after 4 PM. So I called on MONDAY again to make sure, that the bag is still on the way, and the lady on the phone told me, that it was on the way and it will be available arround 4PM.
So the same day (monday) i arrived at 5PM at the store, waited 45minutes(!!!!) only to be told, that the bags are NOT in the store, but they will arrive in the next morning for sure!!! WOW!

Well, i went there in the next morning, had to wait AGAIN 30 minutes and then finally after all this mess got my Bag. I'm sorry, but this isn't professional in any ways. They didnt even apologize, or gave me a small discount or anything.

You can have fun at the playground or elsewhere but dont play with your customers time!!!

I will leave one star and change after the process is complete, I just started the process of sending my equipment to Adorama (12/7/2019). I dont know how much they will give me for my trade but I will share my experience here. My trade in list includes . Slightly used Panasonic G95 with Kit lens, accessories and box, 3 Lumix OEM Batteries, G95 Battery Grip by Newer in Box, Sigma 16mm F1.4 in Box, 42.5 Panasonic F1.7 lens with out of box, Panasonic F1.7 25 MM with Box. Go Pro Hero 7 Black with Box. I am not looking for cash but rather looking for a trade my goal is:
GH5 body USED - PANASONIC LUMIX G Leica DG SUMMILUX Lens, 15MM, F1.7
Or
Sony A6400 - Body only, sigma 16mm F1.4 Used and Sigma 56mm F1.4
or
I will post the amount here that they offered me.

So far I tried to reach out several times to Norman who is my representative for the used quote and I have not received a response from him. I did however find a business rep Alba that was responding to other post's on some forums regarding other bad experiences referencing Adorama. I included her in my email to Norman and she responded right away. I sent her tracking information that was not showing up and she asked for the link. I have since tried to reach her and she has not responded back. But the good news is my package just arrived in NJ and will be delivered tomorrow. woo hoo. So the reason for this review is to give a full step by step review all the way to the finish and leave facts and not anything else so you can make a choice.Either this will confirm what everyone is saying regarding the trade department or will Silence all the post's.

Okay so I paid for my own shipping and boy that was a nightmare. My package finally arrived at Adorama 12/16/2019 at 8:32 AM but the Business team told me it will take some time track my package down since I used my own shipping label. I do have some more information, so apparently there is a formula Adorama uses to evaluate your used products. 1st how new is your equipment, 2nd how in demand is your equipment, 3rd does Adorama have a lot of what you are trading in, 4th is your trade moving fast online, an example would be is it taking a long time to sell your type of trade. 5th what is the condition of your trade? The most they can give you is 70% of the resell value. So if Adorama is selling a used lens for 100.00 and your lens is in high demand, and they dont have a lot of the same lens's in stock. Then you would get a max of 70% of 100.00 that would be $70.00. The messed thing about this process is you could never know what is in their inventory and you as a consumer do not know what sells fast and what doesn't. So Adorama comes up with their price, this in many cases can be a low ball number. The price will also be determined based on trade vs cash.
Here is my guess on my product. I used three ways to see how my trades are trending online.

I used ebay, Adorama used department, and Amazon reconditioned department. to come up with 70% of the lowest priced item to give a fair evaluation. The Numbers are marked below. Below is what I think I should get from Adorama. I will find out in the coming days.

My G95 evaluation price should be 636.30
Sigma 16 MM F1.4 should be 237.30
Panasonic 25mm should be 103.59
Panasonic 42.5mm should be 243.59
Newer Battery Grip 34.30
3X OEM Battery 37.65 Each
Go Pro Hereo 7 Black 192.30

Total should be 1545.68

I got what I wanted, the price was about 200.00 less than what I calculated but they made up for the difference by doing the trade. I will do business again.

I have ordered three different times from Adorama and have had excellent experiences each time. The product arrives well packaged and undamaged. I have had to make two returns due to not needing the product and they are so easy to work with. The return process is wonderful. I highly recommend Adorama.

My online order was delivered to the wrong address to someone named Del (There is no one named Del here), their customer service said oh this looks normal it was shipped and ignores my emails. Will be filing a chargeback and never using this business again. Suggest everyone avoid shady deceptive business practices like Adorama. They won t be there if something goes wrong.

I ordered a Nikon D90. After I received it, I thought it is an open-box item, but I ordered a new one. I talked to Adorama customer service. The lady told me the item is brand new, but she can accept it returned if I am not satisfied. And then I talked to Helen, who also confirmed the camera is new. In the same day, I received a call from Adorama, said I can get full refund or exchange, whatever I want. After reviewing the unboxing video online, I think Nikon might just package their product with an open box, so I decide to keep it (I did no see other problems). I am very satisfied with Adorama service for my case and no complaint.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I should've checked the reviews before I purchased because it seems like this company has deceitful practices. First time buyer.

I ordered an SSD from them on 05/07 and the expected delivery was 05/13. It's now 05/23 and I still haven't received it and they won't answer any of my emails. It says it's been delivered to the post office but they say they never received it.

Edit (05/25/20): they finally responded to my email... and I was refunded my money. I spoke with the post office again and they said the company created a pre-shipping manifest and never mailed my package. But some of the shipping info says it traveled across the country and to my city. A big farce... creating fake shipping info.

I have purchased several items from Adorama with no issues in the past. I purchased two lenses for my Sony A7R2. An 85mm and a 50mm. Both worked great for the month that I had them but the 50mm suddenly had an shutter pulsing issue during a shoot. I switched to the 85, which had been working during the shoot as well, and it too stopped working. I believe the 50mm s issue affected the camera body in some way and transferred said issue to the 85.

So, both lenses were returned for malfunctioning and a request for replacements was made. The 50 was out of stock but the 85 was not. So a refund was issued for the 50 and a replacement for the 85. The gentleman on the phone stated that he would expedite the process and shipping, since I was down to two lenses that I didn t care for, so long as my UPS return label was scanned at the UPS store and returned properly. I had them boxed and at UPS within 30 mins.

That conversation happened Monday morning around 9am. I never got an email confirmation after the packages were delivered and scanned at UPS. So I waited through Tuesday and still nothing. Wednesday I speak with a lady who says she sees the note and will put another one in the system and I would get an email shortly. I never received that email. I call Thursday and speak with yet another person who apologizes profusely, explains that they normally check returns first and then issue replacements. I explain that my case was fast tracked Monday. She apologizes, reviews the notes and says yes, I see the notes and I will make a note to get the lens to you tomorrow (Friday). I thank her and let her know I really need it by Friday. Of course, no email again.

Friday gets here and I am highly irritated at this point. I speak with someone and ask for a supervisor. The supervisor is busy and will give me a call in 30mins to an hour. 2 1/2 hours go by and no phone call so I call again. This guy tells me that the warehouse refunded your card for the lens today instead of sending the replacement . I let him know that is not what I needed or was told by three different people all week. If that was the case I could have gotten a refund Monday and had a new lens from somewhere else by then.

He continues on to say that he can charge my card and have my lens overnighted for free...but they don t deliver on the weekends...it is Friday! I needed the lens specifically for 6, SIX!!! portrait sessions this weekend. An 85 prime to a portrait photographer is their life line lens. I let the gentleman know that I too work in customer service and if I say that something is going to be done by a certain day and time, I move heaven and earth to honor my word. I NEVER blame it on another department bc I ensure that said promise has been kept by all parties involved.

Adorama, this is highly unacceptable service and this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will no longer be a customer nor recommend your business to any other photographer.

I placed an order for a used item on a Thursday evening. Their website claims that orders received before 8:30am on Friday will ship by Friday afternoon.

The item didn t ship on Friday. I m under a little bit of a time crunch, so I emailed them on a Sunday and they were happy to change my shipping address. There was no indication from the customer service representative that there was any issue and he claimed my item would ship on Monday.

5:45pm on Monday rolls around, and my order is still marked as processing, so I email again. By 7:30pm, I m informed that my used item is backordered as in, they sold it to someone else, and couldn t tell me that had happened for a period of three days that they were open.

I m going to stick with B&H Photo. I ve ordered a lot of their used items. They ship the same day; they don t charge for shipping; and I ve never had these sorts of problems with them.

I placed a $2150 order, it was shipped by UPS, delivered directly in my hands from the UPS guy. I open the box, most of the stuff is missing. Package looks very poor and damaged, fixed with transparent tape. I call Adorama and they start a sequence of "tomorrow we will let you know". After over 1 week, they finally say they have it on camera that all items were placed in the box. It's going to be my problem with UPS, they don't want to refund me. I know Adorama is a trusted company, but everything is good until there is an issue, then they will not care about you. If you order expensive stuff, keep in mind you take the risk to get back nothing. Up to you.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. This review is only based on one purchase. Don't base your opinion on this one review, check out others.

Summary:
I was sold a product that did not match the description, so I gave Adorama negative feedback online. Within about 2 days of my feedback posting, Adorama went out of their way to call me and find a solution to my issue. After speaking with a polite customer representative for only 5-10 minutes, Adorama gave me a full refund.

Overall I really felt like Adorama was genuinely concerned with fixing my issue and having me as a customer. I wouldn't hesitate to shop there again. If this seems like a bullshit review, check out the rest of my review and you decide.

Full Review:

I bought a Lowel Omni Light from Adorama's ebay store for 76 bucks. The item was listed as used and fully functional. After receiving the item, I was disappointed to find that the item did not work. I was able to fix the light but I couldn't help but feel dissatisfied so I posted negative feedback for Adorama.

Within 2 days of posting my feedback, A customer representative called and he was eager to find a solution to my dissatisfaction. This was like a week before Christmas so I'm assuming they were very busy. With this in mind, it made me feel that I was a priority to them.

The rep. was very polite with me and wanted to know what he could do to help. He also mentioned that he noticed my negative feedback and he was hoping to change my opinion of Adorama. I explained the broken light they sent and that I was able to fix the light. I told him if I could be refunded 20 bucks for the replacement part then I'd be happy. He told me he would look into it and said he'd call me back within 1/2 an hour.

After only a minute or two, he immediately called me back and he told me they refund the entire 76 dollars and I could keep the light. I was surprised he offered me the full refund to me even after I told him I fixed the light. Also, I never had to agree to give them a better review to get a refund. All he asked was that I reconsider giving Adorama better feedback.

Finally he explained that he was very concerned with my experience and he would like for me to shop with Adorama again. He gave me his extension and told me to call him if there are any other problems with any purchases. I hung up the phone and within about two days I saw my bank account was refunded. There was no hassle and they took care of everything.

Overall I really felt Adorama went above and beyond. They didn't have to call me, they could have waited for me to call. They really wanted to do everything to correct their mistake and I'm very happy with how they helped me. Would definitely shop their again.

Adorama's bonus package provided several useful "freebies." Shipping was quick and the order was well-packaged. I'm ready to begin learning about the camera. It's a complex point-and-shoot with a surprising number of features.

I ordered some magnet counterweight bags from Adorama. They sent me eyepiece adapters.

I called them. They sent me more eyepiece adapters.

I've ordered the bags now from the manufacturer, and Adorama is giving me trouble about refunding my money.

Oh, and until yesterday, their phone system had "Press #3 if you've received the wrong item." And that wasn't even the last option.

Been on the phone for a long time listening to horrible music trying to get a refund.

I did have an item go on back order for a long, long time so it would've been nice to get a notification to give me periodic updates. It was back ordered for 2 month. But since it was just a diffusion sock for a 65" umbrella I was able to improvise with some rip nylon that I use to scrim windows when I shoot.

Does not stand by the products that they sell. New Leaf is a scam and will not fix anything. All they do is shuffle you from person to person, until they finally tell you it's too late and they won't do anything about your broken lens.

Always buy Adorama if prices are similar or better than elsewhere. They offered FREE tutorials on YouTube and I returned the favor by shopping first at their store. I have purchased a used D810, a 300mmf/4 lens, as well as filters, batteries, charges, etc.
