Bought a brand new car just a few months ago. Paid over $3000 for a warranty to cover service for 4 years. We were told it covers everything and we will not have to pay anything for 4 years. The first time we take the car for service to repair a flat tire, of course what a surprise, Trish at Acura of Fremont said the warranty does not cover tires. Another example of a rip off from a new car dealership. If we were told it doesn't cover tires we would have paid a few more dollars on top of the $45,000 dollars to purchase the car to cover warrant for tires.

These gentlemen worked hard and patiently to help get me into a beautiful mint condition pre-owned car despite my poor credit rating. Alex made a very generous offer for my trade-in. The complementary hot coco was very rich and delish too! Mr. Shair in Finance was a sweetheart, explained everything clearly and concisely, and was very patient with all my questions. Sales pressure was moderate, but not too high or pushy or rude. Vlad was very kind, helpful and fun to talk with too. Thanks guys! :)

Be careful and do your homework before availing a...

Be careful and do your homework before availing any service here. Call in before hand and get an estimate. I made the mistake of making an appointment online and landing there the next morning.
The service for my mdx was A123 and the first estimate was more than a 1200 bucks. When I started questioning it came down very quickly to around 350.
I was hoping I would have a better experience than the Acura at Stevens Creek but it was no good here too.
The service itself I guess was ok, I do not know anything about cars so i have to trust what they did. I got a complimentary car wash and vacuum. They did not vacuum the seats.
I will try my luck at South bay Honda as at one time they did tell me that they service acura as well.

Found a used car on their website, took a chance and drove from Sacramento. The car was as advertised, the purchase process was easy, and they even repaired a few minor things to make me happy. One of the best car buying experiences we've had. Jon Do was courteous, knowledgeable, got things done, and even followed up. Worth the drive to this dealership!

Scott Yamasaki was the internet salesman I worked with. He was extremely helpful. He did all the research and helped me find the vehicle I was looking for. He made that part of the purchase so seamless and communicated with me the whole way. I really appreciated the extra effort. the used car dept. manager is not honest, he didn't mention anything about the car being in an accident until I was in the middle of the process signing paperwork, 2 stars given to the service dept. they are friendly

I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option. I made a 9am appointment on a Saturday, didn't see an adviser to get checked in until about 9:30am, then was told that they are behind schedule and my car wouldn't even be seen for another 2-3 hours. The shuttle only takes you within 5 miles, and they had multiple drives ahead of me. No loaner cars available. I decided to walk to the near by shopping center, and 2 hours later I was called to say that they wont even get to my car today! I had an appointment!! Needless to say, I eventually walked back to get my car. (which by the way was parked about 10 feet from the street and was left unlocked with the keys in the cup holder!!!) Eventually got my car made another appointment that was in an inconvenient time to me (the customer!) and left. But after all frustrations, I decided... I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!! Took my car to another dealership and got everything taken care of in one day!!

I had an awful experiencing purchasing my car from this dealership - if I didn't have just a few days to buy a new car (after my car was totaled in an accident) I would have never bought my car from this place!

Great service from Will Liu and the Acura Service ...

Great service from Will Liu and the Acura Service Dept! I had the trailering ATF cooler installed on my MDX so I could increase my towing capacity. From the moment I arrived for my appointment I was immediately tended to and the service rep talked to me about what would be done, which instills confidence. They provided me a loaner vehicle so we could do our errands while waiting, they finished promptly and the car was nice and washed when complete. They have service down and it s easy to see. Great work.

The sales people were understandable people... Unf...

The sales people were understandable people... Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with one of the financial team members. That gentlemen had me initial things on the contract that were optional and were not disclosed to me upfront such as having me sign EXTRA insurance to the used vehicle UNKNOWINGLY and UNKNOWINGLY signing a non-return option so I won't be able to return the used vehicle. It feels like a personal attack to be honest since I felt the gentlemen tried to trap me in paying more money for the vehicle and forcing me to keep it. They kept running my credit score after this whole ordeal. I hope they did not do it on purpose because I didn't give them permission to do so.

He assisted me with my recent repairs, after my loving family member drove the car with no oil. It was a stressful situation for me, but he made the best of it with his patience. He was professional, understanding and seemed to really relate. I will see him the next time, I go in for maintenance.

I ended up not buying from this dealer simply because the sales guys didn't respond to my email. You would find it hard to believe that for a big dealer, after customer tested drove and showed good amount of interest for the car, they didn't respond to your emails, calls. We were at a decision making stage and followed up with the sales guys and online chat for price negotiation. They responded in probably the 5th or 6th days after the visit. Too bad they loss my business just because of their own ignorance. I bought exactly the same model from the other dealer for the price they would surely be able to offer. Maybe they just don't care. I think it is funny because there are just so many options out there, if you don't care, your customers won''t either.

I am shopping around to get a new 2019 RDX, there is another dealer offer me a better price. I showed the email to one of their sales, at first they said they can match the offer and may give a better offer. Then the sales manager Alex called me, I thought it might be some good news, but that guy is so arrogant and told me they cannot match the offer because they provide better service and finance. It is so ridiculous to me and I told him I will get the car with better price, he just hanged up. Will never get a car from this place.

This review is for their finance department.

We purchased a MDX from this dealership. All went well, except that their finance department really disappointed me. First of all, our loan application was declined by one of the bank they sent to (our credit score is ~800), we had to call quite a few times to get hold their finance people for an explanation which we did not even get any. The attitude was not very patient and friendly. Second, we just got another rejection letter from another bank saying that our loan was declined - what was shocking is the loan amount, it was 80,000+! Really?! What kind of loan they have submitted? I just bought one MDX, not two :)

The service here is OUTSTANDING. I have never met anyone at a dealership that genuinely worked in your favor to get you exactly what you needed in your range. They don't give you customer service, they give you FAMILY TREATMENT, and I have never been more at ease buying a car in my life. My husband was so impressed with their service, he's literally coming back to trade in his car for something else! Ali, Matt, and Oshang helped us out and made our experience smooth and everything went without a hitch. Great job, staff! You guys are all amazing!

I am not sure if Acura will contact me for a survey, so I thought I would share my experience with the last assistant service manager I had. By fair the best I have had at this repair facility. The reason why he was the best was because he took the time to listen. The others just seem to move on and let you continue to deal with an problem. Just my experience.

The person who took the time to listen to the issue I was having after 3 visits was Doug. He even asked for the opportunity to allow him to try to fix the problem.

Excellent service !!! I'm so happy for what they did to my Acura TL. I had an issue with my TL transmission out of warranty and they still helped me to refurbished it. I just paid a deductible for it, not the much for the whole service. Thank You Doris, Juand and Wilton!. I really recommend this place.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, DISORGANIZED and HOSTILE ATTITUDE from the manager JAY!! Absolutely the worst purchasing experience ever! My fiance and I were here for an RDX and we managed to get a pretty good deal from the sales associate but they had absolutely ZERO communication between the sales and finance managers whatsoever! First day we were there we spent 3.5 hours and they ended up putting a higher number on paper than what we ultimately agreed on with their sales associate. The finance manager flipped out, raised his voice when we questioned him about the number. We explained then he made a seemingly correct adjustment so we signed. After we got home we tried to work out the numbers again with the loyalty rebate and realized there was a big mistake in their calculations again with an extra $1000. Second day we spent another 3 hours at the dealers waiting for the Finance Manager to correct the numbers. They explained that the higher manager who gave us our deal left early hence all the confusion. However they never apologized and put us to the blame when we complained to their sales manager, Jay, about the ridiculously long wait to have the number finally fixed. His attitude was very hostile and said he refused our business for which we have already paid for! Clearly he was completely clueless. He even said it was our problem for making the numbers confusing and they needed to take their time to help . Jay, if you guys hadn t taken the responsibility to correct it, it would have been a scam that you guys could potentially be sued for!

The customer service is horrible here, we bought the car on Thursday 01/31/19 paid 10k upfront, and they said they will deliver the car on Friday
(next day) we waited until Friday night no one showed up or called us, then we went to the dealer on Saturday and we talked to cyrus and the manager and said they will deliver the car on Wednesday,and gave us a car to use until then, so we waited until Wednesday, no one showed up, they made an excuse that they will deliver the car on Thursday or Friday because of the traffic, and then told us that there's something wrong with the Break light, they have to order the part and told us to wait until Friday, so it's Friday now and I called the manager, didn't answer my call or responded to my email or messages, they're saying that my car isn't ready yet, they suck at communicating. Negative stars for this dealer

Very Satisfied Customer

We just purchased a wonderful used car from Acura of Fremont. The price was fair, and we were well treated.

We went for an extended test drive so my wife could decide if she wanted the car. The salesman s patience was appreciated. She liked the car, and we bought it.

After signing, the closing papers, I asked for a second key. I was told the person who makes keys would not be there until Wednesday. Acura of Fremont loaned us a new 2016 Acura TLX from Saturday until Wednesday until we could return and pick up the car. Nice car and great customer service.

When I came to pick up the car, it was spotless. Acura of Fremont checked the car out before selling it, and it looked better than it did when it was new.

We had an issue but Mr. Bruce Kavich, General Manger, met with me. After explaining what happened, Mr. Kavich apologized and quickly remedied the issue. As a matter of fact, he exceeded my expectations.

We are happy with the car and pleased with how Acura of Fremont treated us. What made car buying great was that Acura of Fremont s claim that prides itself in providing excellent customer and ensuring customer satisfaction is not just lip service. When there is a problem, they work with you to resolve it.

We are enjoying or new car. Acura of Fremont, the next time we are going to buy a car, we will start with you.

I helped my cousin buy 2014 Acura ILX. I reached out to Jon Do (Internet Sales Manager) via email and dealt with Jon for the entirety of the process. He was incredibly responsive, professional and really great to work with. We exchanged several emails trying to finalize pricing and details of the purchase. We made it down to the dealership for a test drive a day later. Jon had all the three potential vehicles ready for us to test drive. He was very knowledgeable and professional, not pushy at all. I still drive past at least two other closer Acura dealerships to come here for all my service appointments, including tires!! Their staff is amazing, the dealership lobby also very comfortable. I'm loyal for a reason... And so happy that I bought my car from Acura of Fremont.

Very poor service. I usually don't waste my time writing reviews but I would be doing a disservice to anyone trying to buy a car OR getting their car serviced if I didn't comment. I tried to buy a car here at Fremont about a year ago- the salespeople were so off putting that my wife and I walked out and on the same day drove to Pleasanton Acura and bought a car. I have now tried to service my car two times in Fremont- the first for an oil change where they tried to up-charge me on all kinds of services. The second time was today- I called yesterday and asked for a loaner b/c I needed a break job (after only 38K miles). I arrived, they scheduled me for an oil change and had no loaner- terrible and a colossal waste of my time. We all have so little free time these days that this kind of inconvenience is unacceptable. I work up in SSF so waiting around here to drop off a car was a real hassle, I normally need to be on the road by 6a. In my opinion you should find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money. Finally, I will say that I NEVER had a problem with BMW. I will not buy an acura again- the cost of ownership and my overall experience with the company means I will be going elsewhere for my next car.

I don t recommend the sales her name is Kelly. She is not trustful and honest. I bought 2019 RDX from her. The car has many problems less than one year. During last year, I repaired break, and the energy save system did not work all the time. Now, front parking sensor keeps warming every couple minutes. I tested message to her, no response at all. Recently, I got that she did not sold a brand new car to me. When I bought that car which already with 175miles, that means someone drove that car. However, all of these she never mentioned to me when I bought the car.

I own two Acura's and love them. My view about this dealership changed, as I found out that it is very scary to do servicing here. They bring random people to do servicing on older model. They left my engine oil lid leaking, and intentionally misinformed me on that . I drove the car with heavy oil leaks, resulting engine failure. Reported the issue multiple times, but they literally ignored to acknowledge this serious safety issue. Watch out for your safety. I am going to file a complaint to, Acura customer service.

Dealer added a optional All State service contract that they NEVER mentioned that came out to add $3,759 to the loan value. Called to speak about the issue and after receiving my information finance manager conveniently had another customer ahead of my call supposedly. I ll be taking this dealership to small claims court if the issue is not resolved. Completely wiped out my down payment, absolutely unexceptable and not a trust worthy dealership

We just bought acura mdx from fremont acura . Matt , johnny and Naveed were really awesome and whole process went so smooth . We were in and out in 2hrs . Matt is very knowledgeable and experienced.johnny was able to get the best price . Naveed helped us out in smooth transitioning right from the beginning doing all the paperwork. This is our second car buying experience from acura of fremont.

I am having the worst customer service ever in my life from this place. I don't want to give them any rate because I am not having any response for my issue but keep ignoring. I want to cancel the extended warranty on my CPO 2016 Acura MDX so I called the finance manager more than 10 times last 1 week leaving voice messages several times but no feedback what so ever. So I called the general manager to solve this issue. GM got back to me 1 time, trying to persuade not to cancel extended warranty and ended call without any action on cancellation. Now, I cannot reach anyone to solve my problem. Anyways, do not deal with this place. You will have the worst experience for long time.

Today I went to this dealer to lease out the new 2016 Acura ILX. This dealership has a really large lot and showroom with a service department as well. I heard it's only 4 years old and the atmosphere in there was very positive. I previously test drove the ILX at the Pleasanton Acura, however I found out that I could get a discount through work and had been corresponding with Jon Do for a couple of weeks. He gave me several quotes before I decided to come in and was always patient while checking in on whether I wanted the car. Today I made an appointment with him as I decided to take the plunge, and even though I had specified the exact car that I wanted down to the color, he still had me test drive it at the very beginning to make sure that the car was what I wanted (and it certainly was!). The entire process throughout was extremely positive as Jon explained everything in great detail and also made sure that I was getting the best price possible for the vehicle. It never felt like he was trying to sell me anything that I didn't need or want. It truly was a pleasure working with him and would highly recommend him and this dealership.
