Customer service via phone or chat is virtually none existent. The online form to submit question regarding trouble shooting problems is not one bit user friendly. Acer gets a very low recommendation from me.

Basically acer has taken 449.99 from my account from a mistake on their end on their own system. My bank has verified this transaction from acer has happened but I have been put through 10 loops, 5 holds, an email loop that told me to contact someone else after someone else told me to contact someone else.
Save your money, dont buy their cheap gaming laptops or laptops or products in general. Poor Customer service that is not on the people they hire but on the poor eco system and management. They developed a poor new system for their employees full of many bugs in their system after a migration.
Anyways back to the main point they charged my card have not returned my money, they cant find it in their system but my bank has verified that money was taken out and was taken by acer. They have led me on a massive loophole and instead of kindly handing me my money back after they countless proof it has been taken out they keep sending the poor employee back to tell me are you sure? WHEN I CLEARLY SEE -449.99 on my bank account statements and missing -449.99 dollars.
What a terrible company. Their support and return procedures are from the 90's and their support "experts" lack any real knowledge of troubleshooting or even understanding the very technology they sell. The runaround and wasted hours I've spent trying to get my near $800 monitor issue addressed is absurd. I'll never, ever buy an Acer product again and recommend people stay away from this company and its products.
I bought a gaming laptop from Acer, and after something like 2 weeks, I m already having problems. The FPS keeps dropping from 144 to 2 for like a whole minute and when I contact Acer support, it took me THREE times until someone actually brought up a valid solution, and even that failed. Basically now my Acer Predator 300, a gaming laptop (1060 GTX 6GB 16 RAM 256 SSD 2.20 GHZ), is basically worse than my old one (Surface Pro 4 4GB RAM 128 HDD 2GB)
Needed a little help with my new Acer product. Their customer service is terrible!!!!!!!!! I tried to call to talk with a person rather than type in endless Chats. 20 minutes later after endless rounds to answering questions to Robo Machine - I get a someone on the line that knows even less than I do about computers and I can basically turn it on and use the installed software. Will on hold I try to start a Chat session. It shows I am number 1 in the que but never get a connection. My new Acer computer is going back tomorrow
I have an Acer monitor, that seems to be fine. However, now the monitor will not shut off. I have tried their online chat, and the guy from India really did nothing to help the issue. I called the toll free number, and they basically did nothing but inform me that I could send the monitor to Texas at my expense for them to repair it under warranty. They don't seem to understand that giving them my monitor for that long would either mean that I have to buy a new monitor or not have the use of my computer for that time, nor do they care. And the sad part is I chose this monitor over others because it had a three year warranty which is pretty illusory under their terms and conditions. Yes, they will fix it, but having them fix it probably isn't worth the hassle and expense when the cost of monitors has come down substantially. The only way I suppose I can get them to understand it is by not purchasing any more of their products ever again.
I bought the acer media thumb drive for my acer one 10 tablet and it never got delivered with in the 5 to 7 business days i'm still waiting for it and my table is a $200.00 paperweight.
I purchased Aspire One 722... not a particularly bad little system, HOWEVER, Acer Tech Support is worthless in every respect. Many, many simple solutions could be provided BUT ARE NOT! For example, providing a downloadable Windows iso file for recovery from a software issue would be simple and helpful... but no. A downloadable Windows recovery program to be transferred to a USB key would be simple and helpful... but again no.
So, shall Acer ever get another penny of my money? Not just no, but, HELL NO! Spread the word to anyone and everyone to buy anything EXCEPT Acer products... this the only power we have left. And for those of you who are teachers, like me, make Acer the BUTT of any and all technical jokes! This action will ensure future generations kids knowing not to waste their money on Acer products.
Horrible is about all I can say. In the first 6 months of purchasing my acer laptop ultr book which was not cheap $1,400 - the monitor went out and I had to spend $70 bucks to get it shipped in insured etc.
One year later the entire hard drive goes and of course it is out of warranty and the cost to rebuild is over $400.
Acer was completely non responsive. Laptops should last longer especially since it is only used at home.
