Before I left, reading the reviews, I noticed that some people had complained that bed bugs were found in the bedrooms. To myself, however, I thought "but come on it won't happen to me" ...... .... and instead after one of the first nights of our stay, a friend of mine and I woke up with a large amount of bites . Bedbugs, bedbugs, bedbugs. Since they have stung you, they are extremely annoying and itchy for a few days. Another point against the hostel is the fact that the room where we were placed (room for 18 people, but absolutely acceptable) had only one toilet (albeit insufficient), only two showers and only two washers. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and bathrooms were quite clean, but the real flaw was the presence of bed bugs in the room.

Very close to a metro which is great, staff was extremely friendly. The only compliant I have was the toilet had a very pungent smell.

Trendy Hostel! The only thing trendy about this hostel is the reception area: they seemed to have put some heart into it. The dorm room is tasteless without curtain, bed not very firm to hold body, room kept like a freezer (they keep the remote of the A/C with them, unit out of reach), sinks not always cleaned and only one was working, soap dispenser with nothing in it (too expensive I guess), bathroom floor always dried up yes (impossible to be anyhow as they would want it to) but not cleaned well, the 2 showers are awkward to get in (one has a floor for your sandals and hooks to hang towel and clothes, the other one hasn't any of the latters), cold water at will as I never knew if I would have a hot shower in the morning, the afternoon,

Very reasonable price. Convenient geographically, close to the metro. Cleanliness level is not the top but at the same time 18 a night in Paris nothing shocking. Just a problem in the bathroom with the detectors for the light outside the shower ... practice the shower in the dark! I staid for a night there, the price is good but do not watch out for cleanliness

The hostel is clean and has a very nice staff. It is also very small, but it has a very good ratio services/price.

I absolutely adored this hostel. It's about 100m from the subway. Has a brilliant little super market and a bunch of other stores located really conveniently. But I think the highlight were the absolute legends who worked and stayed there. The place is spotless and the lads are always cleaning and preparing everything to make your stay the best it can be. They're so damn cool!!! Couldn't have had more of a hilarious time. From sitting on the couches watching Netflix with 10 other people, or chilling in a really secure, safe and clean room! However people rarely stayed in their rooms, was a brilliant way to meet friends and have a laugh. Free breaky and wifi!! Absolutely love trendy hostel and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Missing everyone too much already xxxx

Unprofessional and slow service. There is no locker in the 18-bed rooms (?!?). There is mold everywhere. They do NOT take the credit card! Go elsewhere.

BEDBUGS! Be forewarned. I and at least 2 other people got them last week. I was in the ladies dormitory. I checked under my bed and there were dead bedbugs all over. I have huge welts now. Pretty awful experience. Oh, the hostel also advertises that they have free breakfast, but they are charging 2.50 for your run-of-the mill basic hostel breakfast (toast, coffee, cereal). I m giving this place one extra star because of the location. Until they figure out the bedbug situation STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE.

As expected of a hostel, there are multiple beds and dim light in each room. There were 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 sinks connected to my room by a sound insulated door. It was clean, and I felt safe. For the price, it is definitely worth it. 3,50 for breakfast, I didn't have it though. They lend padlocks and towels for a 10 each, and you get your money back when you give them back. There are lockers for those who are staying more than one night and need to leave some of their belongings. My reception was nice, professional and courteous. Is quite far from the city center but is well connected by metro. I stopped here for a weekend. I like the set up. Fast high speed wifi, good for digital nomad, the beds are comfortable. I like how there's a large bathroom in each room, separate for guys and girls. The common areas are comfortable. There was still a social vibe around that time. Good business. In my opinion it was the cheapest most hostel you find in whole Paris with all facilities available mostly for a guy coming from Asiatic region. No bed bugs as on 05/03/2020.

The hostel itself is ok, toilets / showers / rooms are clean overall. Lunch, despite being made of the bare minimum (bread, butter, jam + orange juice and milk) is significant (however it costs 3 and a few for informational purposes). The staff is relatively welcoming, but rather to the attention of Francophones: indeed, some staff members do not speak very good English and I saw it get upset for misunderstandings with foreign customers. On the other hand the very big black spot: bed fleas, as reported in some other reviews. I booked 3 nights in advance and spent 3 nights eating myself. After reporting the first night, the staff "gassed" the room to make them leave, which was not very effective. In short, the inn's offer is honest for 20 euros a night, but bed chips, which seem to be a recurring problem, are unacceptable. At your own peril as they say.

Beware there are fleas in the beds. There is an improvised restaurant in the hotel with dubious hygiene.

Recommended if you want to stay cheap in Paris. It is clean and has the minimum required facilities, such as a shower and washing machine. Also, if you walk a little, there is a grocery store that runs until midnight, which is convenient.

Bedbugs. Bedbugs. Bedbugs. Nothin 'else to say. 16 beautiful bedbug bites in one night. "But go, imagine if it happens to me" I said when I read the old reviews; "they had a squabble and the customer will have their revenge with a bad review" I thought. Not at all. Bedbugs are real. And alas invisible. AVOID this hostel, because everything seems to be cute and young, but the beds are haunted !!!!!!

Rooms are clean, my room was right by the road which was a little noisy. For 10 a night I can't complain!

Hostel is nice. Is quite far from the city center but is well connected by metro. Rooms are spacious, but I've stayed in a 10 bed dorms and I think that 1 bathroom and 2 showers for 10 girls is not enough. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really basic, maybe it could be improved.

Very good price for Paris. Location is ok, pretty near the metro (line 7). Streets around are a bit dark and deserted though. Very good infrastructure. Amazing receptionist: Hadiya is the man! Very nice guy, super attentive and willing to help. I haven't seen this kind of great customer service in ages! Bed are good, bathroom is good. Cheap breakfast (2 euros), but you get what you paid for, don't expect anything awesome, but it is pretty good for the price. Overall it is one of the best cost-benefit places to stay in Paris. I will be back again next time I'm in town.

Overall, it was not bad. It was just a strange stranger during the stay. It was misunderstood for no reason to make noise in the evening, and another morning was screamed by a girl for no reason, which made people very uncomfortable, but the employees were Great! Especially Hadiya.

Found this hostel after walking around Paris all morning. Even though I arrived prior to check-in they let me chill in the living room and we're quite welcoming. Dorms are a bit cramped but I had no issue with getting sleep (cheap foam ear plugs). Was also a bit worried the number of WC and showers would be an issue but it wasn't. Overall great place. Friendly staff, great guests to chat with and location is 2 minutes from the Metro for very easy access to the sights of Paris. Will book here again next time I am in Paris.

Had an awesome stay at Trendy! The staff was amazing and so was everything else. But I have to publicly thank both Mohamed Lamin and Hadiya for being super helpful and friendly. Thanks to them I had a pleasant stay with all the cool tips they provided, not to mention they gave me several breakfasts for FREE during my stay! I'm so greatful to have stayed at such hostel and met such wonderful people. Highly recommended.

Location of the hostel is pretty good, several minutes walk from metro station. The personnel was nice. The common room is quite big and the bathroom was clean. One issue tho, I couldn't pay with my card. Fortunately, I had some cash which was enough, but still not a good situation.

Already that your hostel has a very bad reputation! You don't even take the time to listen to your customers as an excuse: "I don't have the time or I have other customers!" In truth, I am very disappointed you lose the clientele like that without realizing it!

Small, germinated and way too expensive. Would not I book again! Staff was friendly. Breakfast is poor.

Too many beds per room, the bathrooms are very cold, the hot water runs out, but the employees are very friendly, apart from the subway being very close, that's good.

Conveniently located less than five minutes away from the Metro station. Friendly staff, and the dorm was comfortable, if a little warm for my personal taste. You get what you get with dorms and I had possibly the world's loudest snorer in the lower bunk. (Not that that's anything to do with the hostel itself). Leftly to get a flight so didn't try the breakfast.

Great value for money. The staffs are friendly and speak English. The room and bathroom are well cleaned, the place is nice. Soft bed, I slept like a feather. I would stay again for sure.

I found the hostel very comfortable. I was in early October 2019 in the room with 14 girls. I found it very well organized, clean and the staff there very friendly. The rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. Shower was very good and heated a lot. At check in they did not accept my 100 euros bill because they said that because it was new the machine did not accept. Good thing I had a card if I wouldn't have to turn to change. So be warned, those who arrive at night may have a hard time changing money in the area. The neighborhood is quiet, but as I realized in Paris, everything closes very early. About rats and badbugs, I didn't find any. I used repellent every day and did not take bites. My friend did not pass repellent and also did not suffer stings. I found a very good hostel with high benefit! I recommend.

Super funky place but I liked it a lot. Everyone was really friendly and I promise that if you stay at trendy hostel you're gonna make friends. Besides that it was really cold sometimes and there was no light or paper towels in the bathroom it was a good time :)

Bit of an odd place. Pretty good beds and pillows but you have to put the sheets on yourself. Showers are warm but you have to hold a button down to make them run, so pretty inconvenient. Also don't think they use laundry soap when washing your cloths, so I wouldn't suggest washing cloths there. I guess it's was kind of cheap place to stay if you don't want to stay in Paris. The walk is only about an hour or 1,90 with the metro that is super close. The 3 euro breakfast was decent, if your there early you might be able to get a hard boiled egg. Workers were nice though. FYI the candy machine will take any coin so you can use those anoying 5 cents to get candy ;)

Was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Fantastically equipped bathrooms which were very clean. Cheap breakfast in the morning and comfy couches in the lounge area. The beds were also very nice!

Great place, but the hotter-than-usual summer heat and the lack of air-conditioning really marred a part of my experience. More on the good later.

This is the cheapest hostel I have found! The managers of the places animated us by playing a game and putting on some music, which made it possible for everyone to have a pleasant evening. The hostel is pretty. However, there is no kitchen.

A fantastic youth hostel. Good atmosphere, numerous languages at the reception, breakfast included, individual outlets next to each bed, impolite and soundproof bathrooms ... No complaints.

The reason I'm giving it a low rating is mainly because of the bed bug incident. They had a huge bed big problem. My first night there I woke up with lots of bits and huge bed bugs crawling up the walls. Also the sheet between the mattress and added sheet that they give you looked like it had never been washed. When I told the receptionist about the bed bugs he said that they had just sprayed the beds last week. I guess they have had this issue before and didn't do anything except spray the place. My guess is that the some of the first set of bugs survived the spray and built an immunity. They had me switched beds and also did all my laundry free of charge. However none of the other girls in the room switched beds so I'm pretty certain they all have bed bugs. Other than that the service was nice and the rooms are air conditioned. There are also outlets for every bed to charge phones. In the kitchen it is worth noting that there is no over, just a microwave which was fine. I thought it was weird that they had pots and pans with no over. The staff were very nice and the hostel was like a 3 minute walk to a subway station.

The BED BUGS! Ugh. Be prepared for being ripped off and eaten alive by bed bugs! They also overcharged me. I thought that i had already paid online. So i left without paying by mistake. Then i checked my account and they overcharged me for one nights stay.

Very good hostel. The welcome was great, the first breakfast offered. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet. Many services available: TV, laundry (for 6 ), computers. Fridges are available. Super affordable rates! Value for money more than perfect and above my expectations! Only downside is the lack of a real kitchen (only a microwave).

Nice hotel! Not far from the center Good hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Near the center, near the train. Great staff. The breakfast is delicious. But if I would like to join a variety of. And the breakfast tips should go earlier. And then there may not be enough places. But overall we are satisfied. Near the hotel you will also find a market where you can buy fruit and restaurants. For example, we wanted sushi. We recommend that the car in front of the hotel is not visible, but everything is very good. A nice bonus of the hotel is the tea and coffee in the room.

No good place to stay if u travel to paris i dont advice to stay here. Is my recomending. People ask for money men to pay for hes hostel with out no know that person.

I was expecting a match between It's price and their quality (since they're very economic I wasn't expecting much) but they exceeded my expectations in every manner. I haven't been traveling much but I have stayed in a couple hostels, and I definitively recommend it. It's very clean and the staff (specially this guy Hadiya) are very welcoming. It's not centric, but if you're not afraid of the metro, it's a good place. I really recommend them a lot;) Those who work here are super cool, and the place is quite beautiful. I don't give it a 10 out of 10, but at least it's a 9.3. I haven't met anyone who speaks Spanish yet, but at least they let you cook. And breakfast (it's cereal and bread with butter and jam) is super good, and free. If you can ask for someone, ask Hadiya, she is not a mother (for those who do not speak "Mexican" she is very cool.

Don't stay here! After staying 1 night, I returned the 2nd night to find they had given my bed away and my stuff had been thrown on the floor. It took reception an hour to figure out what happened/move me to a new bed because their system deleted my reservation. I understand stuff happens, but good customer service is going above and beyond to make-up for an incident that caused me loss of sleep + stress. They refused to reduce my bill when I asked at check out. Terrible customer service!!

We booked on hostelworld. On the website it was written that the hostel had a kitchen where it was possible to cook. They were wrong to give us the beds and on the second day having realized they moved us. In the mixed room on the first floor there is a toilet for 18 people and two showers, 2 washbasins. It was cold enough in the room because they always left the windows open. Also on the site there was specified that the hostel had free parking available. For parking we paid 3 a day and parked along the road. Also on the site it was written that breakfast was free but you had to pay a supplement of 2.50.

For me, Hostels are really a people experience and the quality is on the shoulders of the people there. This place had some great people who showed lots of care for everyone who came. I enjoyed the food, adventures in Paris, and the atmosphere of the Hostel. Thanks Guys!
