MegaShift Logistics Review

Never ever use their services.

I used them for moving my house goods from Johannesburg to Pietermaritzburg.

1st they never departed Johannesburg on the agreed date, which caused a havoc with the storage facility where my goods were to be delivered to.

2nd never ever allow them to bubble wrap your goods. My bubble wrap was finished and I asked them to finish of only 4 items which were left and they charged me R650 for that while the bubble wrap at Westpack is only R160.

3rd they charged me R350 for a TV box which they did not bring on the day of collecting the goods, asked for a refund and was told I won't get it.

4th they tell you that their crew comprises of 5 crew members which is all lies. Only 3 people on the truck including driver.

My goods were to be offloaded recklessly as the storage had already lapsed their operation hours. My furniture is all broken now.

Never ever use Mega Shift Logistic.

We used Abel and team 3 times in the last 5 months - always extremely professional (phone day before and again when on the way, get there on time, wrap and pack carefully, transport carefully). Respectful of body corporate rules when moving into apartments. And to top it off, very reasonably priced, will use them again in a flash

Disgraceful customer service and expensive items stolen. They were late with my collection even though it had been arranged two weeks prior. They only arrived late the afternoon when they were supposed to start loading at 8am and did not have the courtesy to even inform us.

Then when we phoned them they said it had been moved to 2pm due to another collection. At 2pm when they had still not arrived, we had to phone them once again and we were informed that their truck had broken they were sending Bakkies to collect. Our load also took another week to get to our destination.

They provided no feedback unless phoned. Then they have terrible attitude or refuse to answer their cellphone calls.

On top of that our items were damaged and boxes they were clearly marked as breakable were severely damaged.

I would not suggest using them at all.

Excellent service throughout!!! You won't make a mistake using Mega Shift Logistics. From the manager Abel to the driver and the men who assisted on the day. Friendly and efficient staff all round. It's been an absolute pleasure working with you. I will definitely use the company in furture.

Makeshift logistics recently moved me from Gauteng to the western Cape If it was possible to give them more than 5 stars I would've done so.From Comfort's helpful and friendly service to efficient drivers and staff .Best value for money I can highly recommend this company.

I used megashift on 30 November 2017. It was such a horrible experience . They arrived 8 hours late for the move. Through out the day I was calling them and they kept telling me that they are on their way , until they stopped taking my call totally. I had to ask my boyfriend to call them , and they picked his call. They told him that they would call him back and they never did. When I spoke to Comfort about their bad service he told me that I am not their only customer. I would not recommend them to anyone

Very accommodating with challenges brought on by the location of our new home. Driver and assistants were awesome, friendly, helpful and very respectful of our goods. The team had to work extra hard to get two home worth of goods into one home, in a remote location, high on stilts and nothing deterred them. Well Done Megashift!! What a disgusting unprofessional company , these people don't promise what they provide , don't use this company , they damaged my furniture as well as didn't put the covering on my furniture as agreed upon so furniture arrived dirty . When called to complain they were very unprofessional and just a hassle to deal with, no customer etiquette at all. Also don't pick up the phone when calling when the furniture was late for several hours . Save your money and go elsewhere people
