Rooms very tastefully decorated. Beds could be more comfortable for me, 195cm 95kg, bathroom in standard room quite small. Food in the restaurant really good and price performance very good. But should not expect star food. Very accommodating with dogs. Come again.

I wanted to have dinner with business partners at the Dorotheenhof. This did not happen. The waiter has treated us at the entrance to the restaurant so incredibly rude and dismissive that we turned on the heel and left. I am now almost 50 years old and have visited hundreds of restaurants worldwide. That was a new experience. I've never been treated that bad.

Pretty nice, outrageous parking fee for parking, not parking garage. And there is no other possibility in the larger area and you are so forced to park and pay there. So hidden room costs. Is reasonable to reach by car or taxi.

The Hotel Dorotheenhof in Weimar is a small quiet hotel in the countryside. The kitchen is very good and you will find something for every taste. The staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful. The in-house shuttle service brings you to the city and picks you up in the city if you want. The rooms were clean and quite modern. The reading room or the spa area invite you to relax and linger. You literally escape the daily stress. For me a perfect place to switch off. I like to come back.

Very nice and clean hotel. The Saulandschaft is very well maintained and offers a wide selection of saunas. Only downside to the hotel was the breakfast. Here was the selection of cold cuts and bread rather limited. For 15 , which costs the breakfast you can go much better in the many small cafes in Weimar breakfast.

A real dream hotel. In Weimar I will only live here.

I vary between 3 and 5 stars. Room and hotel very nice and well maintained. Breakfast is OK, neither outstanding nor bad. Parking 3 per day extra and for charging at the e-gas station 10 is already a word. Then 6 extra for the sauna ... Has a bit of the aftertaste, that one of guests here and there still want to make an extra euro. The staff was very friendly. I would come back here.

The hotel is a fantastic location. It's upside the highway, therefore it's very quiet. It's a small hotel which a romantic flair and a kind of antique. The service is friendly and very good. I was a participant of a business workshop, so I have seen only the meeting room, lunch/dinner rooms an the restrooms. All rooms were clean and friendly and you can feel the loveness for the hotel. The lunch we got was very good. I can recommend this 4 stars hotel for business events, but also for family events and for people in love, too, because of its fantastic and romantic flair within a small, but wonderful Park. You should visit this hotel.

In itself a very great hotel, with very nice staff and a good price-performance ratio. 2 stars just because my toilet lid was broken, a huge scratch came into view in my ceiling and the pork steak was so salty in the evening that it was inedible. I was met with a beer at the house. Everything little things but in Summesumaro it makes 2 stars.

The hotel is located in a quiet location outside Weimar. It offers an appealing atmosphere, but without the **** + prove. The staff is excellent. Food and decoration are behind. For the claimed level, swimming pool and balconies are missing. The staff of the wellness department is great. 15 for a pet is covered. Good is the shuttle service to the city.

Nice hotel outside of Weimar. Not recommended in Corona times, however, as local public transport only runs until 9 p.m. and in the dark approx. 4 to 5 kilometers almost overland to the hotel.

We had a wonderful weekend at Dorotheenhof. The food was excellent, the staff so friendly and accommodating and the location is fantastic. We will definitely be back.

We spent two nice wellness days for two. Relaxation experienced. Our room was near the spa, which is entered with a bathrobe. Antistress treatment and Schiller's wellness day experienced and very much enjoyed. That was worth the money. On the day of departure, an additional experience: fire alarm with the fire department. Alarm was triggered by mistake. Thank goodness no one happens to anyone. Is not commonplace and exciting it was ....

Beautiful in the middle of orchards located Wellnes Hotel, a bit away from Weimar. We booked a day spa and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and the treatments. We were also able to use one of the stylish rooms for the duration of the stay. At the end of the day there was a delicious fitness salad in the restaurant.
An all-round successful offer that we will gladly use again.

We were invited to a wedding here, the hotel is very atmospheric. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and made us completely satisfied. However, we had only one toilet in our family suite, which was a bit tight with 5 people.

Very good food and the homemade cake highly recommended. Am there every year, but the drinks menu has been heavily evaporated and misses the local wines. Pity

I was in front of your hotel that evening and unfortunately I was not offered to have someone check me in from the restaurant, if that had happened it would have been perfect I would have liked to have waited another 1-2 hours. However, the information about the check in was missing in your information, but ok I think your answer is enough for me.

The first impression was okay. The building currently looks like it does in the photos on the Internet.

Small inconspicuous lobby, conspicuous corona measures, resolute-friendly receptionist.
We had booked a single room for our daughter and a double room for us. In the hope of two quiet and romantic days / nights outside of Weimar, which can be easily reached by car. The rooms / bathrooms were very nice, clean and of a reasonable size for my taste. The furniture was a bit worn. There was a flat screen TV, which was very small for the size of the room (double room).

The view of the green area with the old trees was appealing. However, I already had concerns when I saw the beer garden under our windows.

And it came as it had to come. Noise until late at night. After !! 3 calls !! in the restaurant (reception was no longer manned), where I was promised that they would close immediately, the last guest was actually gone around midnight. The delivery trucks / garbage disposal came from 6:30 a.m. So it wasn't particularly romantic - and the opposite of calm.
Our daughter's room was on the other side. It was quiet outside, but you could easily follow the conversations in the adjoining rooms, whether you wanted to or not.

The entire cosmetic product range in the bathroom consisted of two mounted dispensers with a shampoo-shower gel-hand soap mix. The towels were very delicate, but very clean and 2 per person. The water pressure was also rather gentle, but the shower had three adjustable levels. The lighting in the bathroom was too subtle, the ventilation stubborn and loud for a long time. On request and for a fee! There would have been bathrobes and slippers, but we didn't take advantage of the offer. (4 stars superior !!!)

The mini bar in the room was empty but well cooled. There was a drinks machine in the hallway. Last time I saw it in a youth hostel.

The breakfast buffet corresponded at most to the standard for a 3 star hotel, albeit noticeably unimaginative and careless and at 9 o'clock already pretty empty. It was only filled up hesitantly and sparingly after several explicit inquiries. Coffee specialties were not offered. Only pots with filter coffee that must have seen cleaner times. No trace or card of pancakes / waffles and the other usual suspects . The offer for vegans is pretty hopeless.

I found the restaurant to be very attractive. The staff friendly but clumsy and probably inexperienced. It was neatly set, except for very tiny translucent paper napkins, but the service couldn't keep up with the prices. The fourth - for us unnecessary - place setting was never cleared away, the cards came after we asked about our wishes, etc. The meal was okay for me with enough salt and pepper, which I got on request. My husband didn't like it. It was too tasteless and not enough for him, despite several courses.

Since we had asked for a room change after the first noisy night, which could not be met, we were waived the parking fee of 12 euros.

So unfortunately nothing came of the quiet and / or romantic weekend. Absolutely not a recommendation. I attach photos.

Quiet hotel at the gates of Weimar with a rich breakfast, clean spacious room. A new looking spa area with steam bath, infrared, bio and Finnish sauna, room of peace and quiet. Nice weekend all round. Gladly again

This hotel is just beautiful. The location, the food and the nice waiters will definitely take us back here.

Hotel very nice, and the wellness department is great. Unfortunately, this is more about perceived rip-off. For parking space has to be paid extra (as if you had an alternative in the situation), for bathrobe and slippers must also be paid - I have never experienced in a spa hotel. The booked offer was not met: according to the offer, there should be a 3- or 4-course menu. However, we each received a buffet, which was not very good (no soup, salad bar was a bowl of green salad, a bowl of red cabbage and a bowl of white cabbage). We were also on demand also dry (even the restaurant manager itself). Generally you can not see a smile from the staff - there are only a few where you feel welcome ...

Conclusion: have searched for a new wellness hotel for our annual weekend, but this will not be it. Were very disappointed with this establishment, especially the restaurant ...

Great hotel, willingly for every business trip. Room comfortable and good breakfast. Restaurant with good food although they confused tagliatelle with linguine, but they were cooked al dente.
