21st Mortgage Corporation Review

Although I was iffy after reading negative reviews, I have received the best service from 21st Mortgage. We purchased a new double wide March 2018 to live in before building our forever home. 21st was easy to deal with from the very start. We make our payments on time as agreed upon when signing. No one hounds us for a payment. In fact, they told me that if our payment was a few days late in December due to Christmas, they would work with us. We didn't have an issue, but thankful they offered that option. As a first-time home buyer, I have had many questions with the escrow, taxes, etc... Alissa Brooks spent a good bit of her time today answering all questions I had. She was very easy to understand, super nice, and even emailed me to make sure all of my questions were answered along with her contact information if I needed additional support.
I would recommend 21st without a doubt.

Me and my mom are working with 21st mortgage right now.. it has been an absolute nightmare. Were going on almost a month to close now. We are putting 35% down on are property also. My mortgage agent never returns my phone calls. The underwriters are absolute nightmares. Took me 100 emails back and forth. I almost pulled out of the property due to the experience. Decided that we have been this far why stop now. It's almost like they could care less about anything right now. I understand with covid going on it's hard but come on people do your job. Are closing date was supposed to be today and we never got a call about anything. Absolute nightmare so far. I hope someone in corporate reads this and does something about this. I will never recommend 21st to anyone.

I wanted to comment on the professionalism and kindness of the employees that helped me this morning. Frank Mutter (Financial Counselor) and Linda Lengyel (Supervisor) were very kind to me and very helpful. Frank and Linda are definitely assets to your organization. I'm grateful to both of them.

Same goes for Steve Rife, the Account Manager. Steve has been very kind, patient and helpful. You folks have a great team!

I would never do business with these people. They drag out the loan process....asking for same documents over and over again.

Delay after delay, and no sense of urgency. A bunch of incompetent baboons work there.
They lack direction or compassion for the people they are "taking care of".

Naomi was incredibly quick when I emailed customer service. She got the documents I requested sent to my email with in an hour.

Krysstal Reindorp, She is very patient and helpful. I am very impressed with her services. Just want to thank her for her services and great personality.

We have been with 21st for around 16 yrs. I have always had a positive experience in dealing with all their employees. Brooke White was very courteous and pleasant to work with. She took care of my issue in a quick manner. Thank you 21st for having some of the best people to work with.

All they do is prolong the loan. Always asking for paperwork even though they have it. Can't figure out your income from documents sent several times. Very Bad experience. Dealt with them for 3 weeks and NOTHING RESOLVED RECOMMEND DO NOT USE THEM

My loan officer Natalie is exceptional when it comes to customer service. She has taken care of my mortgage loan for the past 3 years and I feel secure knowing that she is handling my business.

My experience with dealing 21st Mortgage is phenomenal. They work with you and understand sometimes people have problems that occur and need an extension. They have worked with me and kept in contact with me during a time I had to make a late payment. I would highly recommend 21st Mortgage. And a big thank you to Avery Grayson for helping me out in my time of need.

From the very beginning of working with, John Mcquire of 21St Mortgage, he walked me through the entire mortgage process making it understandable and easy for me to gather all the information required.
After, and in the following months, 21ST Mortgage is there for you. Recently I have been working with a professional and knowledgeable woman, Bailey.
I highly recommend this mortgage company and have been referring friends.

If you can avoid having to use this company, I would recommend doing so. They're here for your money and that's it - with no delivery on good customer service whatsoever. But hey, if conflicting information is what you're into, then I'd say go for it.

The people at 21st Mortgage are the nicest and most courteous people I have ever had the privilege of interacting with.

Called to see if we could have a small extension of our mortgage payment (never missed one in 4 years) and they BELITTLED us. The reps were Matt and Adam. They were extremely rude and questioned everything we possible had out of our paycheck essentially calling us liars. Telling us to beg our family for help (what kind of joke is this?) we cannot control a pandemic. This is by FAR the worst customer service I ve ever received and we will be finding a new mortgage company to work with. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I have worked with the staff for quite a while and they have always been helpful, polite and professional. Excellent to deal with, especially Tom Fernandez.

As a volunteer manager I am thankful for the employees of 21st Mortgage who generously give their time to a worthy cause. This superb group of individuals has made projects easier with their positive, get it done attitude. Through the many volunteer hours it's clear they truly care about the community.

I've had a mortgage with 21st for around 5 years, paid all my bills on time. It's time to pursue the next opportunity and 21st mortgage has refused to provide me with some account information. They have seemingly went out of their way to delay the process. Which has severely set me back. When I've spoken with customers service over the phone through all this they were very rude. I'll never use 21st again.

My husband and mother have both enjoyed working with Chelsea Waddell. Toshia Howard has also helped. However, I wish they would call only once a day and let us return calls. If we are behind we already feel guilty and anxious enough. Thanks for your help ladies !!!

Me and my husband just wanted to say what a wonderful job Teresa Lambert with 21st Mortgage did. In a lot of ways she went above and beyond and there was never a time that she ever made me feel that I was bothering her or that she was in a rush. All of questions were answered and she keep me informed through out the whole process. Barbie Spries is wonderful! Over the last two years I've used this company for my manufactured home insurance. I received a letter to call if I'd like help getting car insurance. I finally had time to call yesterday and within minutes I had several quotes and switched to a great company. I ended up with better car insurance than I currently have and for a good price. Everyone I speak to is very polite and knowledgeable. I explained my reasons for being late with my mortgage payment and the reps are very helpful and empathetic to my situation. I wish the mobile home park where my home is located was as understanding when residents experience financial setbacks.

I have been on the phone with 21st mortgage every day for the last week to get things in order and each and every call was exceptional, friendly, helpful and effective. So glad we financed with this company.

Please make sure if you are selling a tiny home or if you are a buyer of one you do not use this service. We ve been told several times they can provide funding but a week before closing on a purchase they called the buyer and said they did not order the appraisal or have the capability to fund the loan for closing. This is devastating to a home purchaser and telling someone this news in a voicemail is even worse. Zero customer support and no ability to close- tiny home owners beware.

I've had a positive experience getting a refi loan with 21st Mortgage. I especially want to thank Nicki Johnson. She was very helpful and prompt in answering all of my questions.

In the process of buying a home right now and wow. They are awesome. Always answer emails so quickly and they really care about working with you. I am so glad I found you guys.

Working with Jill during difficult times was great. She was always uplifting and encouraging to talk to and was able to offer help when needed. During the beginning of Covid-19 shutdown, she did her best to help me keep my mortgage current.

So many negative feedback comments. But also so many good. Not sure if we should choose to use them anymore after hearing the negative feedback. When I called in the first time I was not able to reach someone. I was then called back and left a voicemail. She seemed nice and went over my questions but left out big important details and said to get pre approved online. I didn t want to do that yet without my questions getting answered. So I called back and no answer and she called me the day after. She did answer my questions but did seem annoyed and wanting me off the phone when I was nothing but nice and just asking questions a first home buyer would be asking....this is making me think that s how it would be withbworking with the company from the beginning after reading the comments below. They do have a lot of great comments but not sure if they are real or not....if we do go with them we will definitely have to have a lawyer/attorney by the sounds of it, unfortunately. Wanting to think they are nothing but great....until we feel comfortable we Will be looking into other mortgage lenders.

These people will take advantage of you at every opportunity. I had a bad feeling about these people, but due to word of mouth from the Manager of the company I was dealing with, I went with them anyway. Worst decision I have ever made. It has been nothing but trouble dealing with them with simply just making payments. They apparently use a 3rd party company and payments are always delayed before posting. I had fallen behind after a few years while in a bankruptcy due to a business failing, when I had spoke to them about getting it squared away. After talking one month to a lady that was suppose to be "in charge" of my account, we decided to make larger payments to catch up. The next month I called to do the same thing and was told by another lady that we weren't behind. I made a larger payment anyway. Not to long after that, I get a refund check from them. I assumed it was for overpayment since the last person had told me we weren't behind and due to multiple posts on the internet about them sending back money that gets you ahead. The check didn't say anything about what it was for. They filed on me to foreclose. After this was brought up, they sad it was a refund of the escrow. That was a little funny considering they had just gone up on my payments a few months ago to cover an escrow shortage. My advice is to go with anyone else you can as opposed to them. The Manager I mentioned that referred them...turned out he was not a person of his word on the transaction made with them either. No wonder.

Rude. Inconsiderate. My mother died and we are doing our best to keep making the payments. We pay on time and in full and they continue to hound us with robocalls, roboemails, and threatening foreclosure. I hate that my parents financed their home with this company. The trailer is twenty years old and still has a lot to go! Avoid at all costs. Predatory lenders.

I called to see if there was any type of help available due to unforeseen circumstances and they were really rude! To specify the ladies names were Abby and Jessica. What a way to be understanding to a customer in a time where they feel helpless and are trying to persevere through a rough time. I'm really disappointed with their customer service and I would really want a number to call and speak to someone who can take care of the way the employees treat 21st mortgage customers.

I sent 21st an email about not receiving a new payment book for 2020 over this past weekend. Courtney responded this morning advising that one had been sent out on 1/2, but she had ordered another one for me. The response to my email was very quick and handled as I expected! Thanks Courtney!

Every time I call them for anything, I end up with rude representatives. Then I get put on the phone with a supervisor, who cuts me off whenever I try to speak and literally yells at me. I'm sorry I have been trying to get my issue resolved, and be an adult and let you know I need help. They don't work with you, but instead just yell and degrade you like you're a child. I will never get a mortgage through them again.

I give Karen Mulryan 5 stars. She is always willing to answer all of my questions, is very thorough, and works very hard for our customers.
