People there were great! I live in a retirement community here a s have 6 kids. You hear rumors in town that they don't like kids up here, but wowsers, these people were so excited to have us, and showed me as much as they could as far as things to do with the kids. They all were amazing, and very accommodating! They were super excited to have all of us! Thanks to all those that helped me today!

Bought a home here in late 2015. Turned into the biggest disappointment of my life. My neighborhood was ridden with drug addicts, m*th cooks, at least two burglars and a family of hoarders who piled up garbage until it spilled over the porch railing. Not to mention the animal welfare concerns, since those inhuman people hoarded 10-12 dogs. IN my opinion, which is based on my experience over 2 years, the FFG Community Club doesn't care about its members. It only cares about collecting the cash (not the trash). They never enforced their own property standards and covenants despite repeated complaints about the hoarding and other neighbors who refused to mow their lawns during the long mowing season. It was like moving the planet for them to get anything done. In essence, it never happened.

Dealing with Daniel Geib, the main property standards inspector, and Bob Weber, the FFG general manager, was a heartbreak. Bob is 100% disingenuous. If you get lip service from him, you're lucky.

The only good thing that I have to say is about Jan in the office. She was always wonderful, upbeat and pleasant to deal with. The one star is for her.

If you can afford the pay-per-use amenities, you might enjoy the community. Otherwise, your HOA fees will subsidize the many golf courses that compete with one another. You won't get anything in return except misery.

As a side note, the small town politics here are unreal. Both newspapers stopped publishing letters to the editor due to the vitriol.

Has indoor pool and a gym. Gym used most of the time for pickle ball. The facility is in the Fairfield Glade resort and most activities have a fee to participate. Fairfield residents pay a fee for most activities and guests from outside of Fairfield can also use the facilities for a fee

We had a "stay and play" package that included rounds of golf at some of most scenic courses of our careers. Our contact person, Kim Toth, was fantastic to deal with from the start of "looking" to check out. Every inquiry, question, reservation, and changes were handled in the most cheerful, professional, and with "the customer's satisfaction" in mind. Kim is a person which every employer wishes they had!
