Garret Johnston Review of 21st Amendment Brewery

I lived in the city five years ago and loved 21st. The food was great, service was attentive, and the beer to die for. To say they've slipped is an understatement. The beer is still amazing, but service and food quality was awful.
They were busy, and I understand that can be tough, but hearing, "what do you want?", as the initial greeting from the hostess is unacceptable. All of the wait staff looked like they just rolled out of bed. The only thing that set them apart from a patron was their apron. I felt as my being there was an inconvenience to the staff.
The cherry on top was my terrible, over priced Cubano. $13 for a bland grilled sandwich that was cold in the middle, the cheese wasn't melted at all, the predominant flavor was yellow mustard, and the moisture less roasted pork didn't have any flavor. It came with frozen french fries and an oily under dressed side salad.
The beer was great (the only reason why I gave 2 stars), but not enough for me to go back. There's a hundred different places with great beer, good food, and staff that's happy to have me.
