For the price we paid, and the name the Eden roc supposedly has, we were very disappointed. Service was terrible. Front desk was slow, and felt not so accommodating. Unfortunately Don't think we will stay here again.

Worst place ever. Please do not stay here. 1st of all They don t clean your rooms without you having to call guest services and request. When I checked in they did not tell me this nor have a sign in the room. I came back at 6am and did not have clean towels or anything. I call the front to complain and they say yes everyone has been complaining about having dirty rooms. I feel like this is bad practice. Why am I paying 500 a night and not have my room cleaned. I would have stayed at the holiday inn and had clean towels. The staff and manager was rude when I tried to request my room to be cleaned. Please stay away from this place at all cost.

I can t begin to explain how amazing our waiter/pool lady DANI was !!!! Wow! If you go to this hotel make sure you look for her by the pool ! I can guarantee you that next time I rent at the beach I will definitely be staying at the eden roc just because of her ! I honestly think a place is as good as it is because of the service they offer you, and let me tell you that DANI didn t lack that one bit ! thank you DANI !

Visited as a Festival guest. The Resort has lots of wonderful amenities such as beautiful decor, super friendly staff throughout, full Starbucks counter, Spa, Restaurant, multiple ballrooms, multiple pools and bars, direct beach access, comfortable and inviting seating areas inside and outside throughout with nice views. Truly worthy a visit with family and friends. The staff and service helped make this a success by keeping the water stations and area around them clean and constantly refreshed with cold water throughout. They helped with directions and Insight on the surrounding areas and always friendly greeting upon arrival. Hope to return next year.

This hotel is horrific! The only good thing is the view from the balcony on some of the rooms. The hotel stinks! The hallways literally smell like a middle school cafeteria. The hotel is very dirty. Customer service is not a top priority. All food and beverages get an automatic 20% service charge so the service sucks. I usually tip at 20% when I get great service, but I did not receive even mediocre service. There is a charge for umbrellas at the beach and if you want to see the ocean you have to pay 100$ for the front row chairs on the beach. We also had people partying loudly next door to us every night. Stay away from this hotel. I recommend the turnberry isle resort in Aventura. It's a similar price point , but exceptional service and a beautiful property that's clean and doesn't smell like a cafeteria.

Spent the day at the beach with a cabana ($250/day). It's supposed to include 6 bottles of water, prosecco, magazines. We never saw any of the magazines, had two bottles of water that we had to wait for, for hours. Same thing for the prosecco.
It's obviously a 4 (5?) stars resort, with international standard and the installations are really nice. That's said the service at the beach was really so-so, neither nice nor quick. At the restaurant, the food was good, but here again service was very so-so. Overall, a nice place but service doesn't keep up,

The staff was excellent. I live in Ft Lauderdale and vacation on weekends in South Beach hotels and this was the best hotel I've found. Everybody was very professional and had a smile on their face. Something rare in Miami sometimes. Milica was our pool server and she was the best!!! Made our time there even better.

My husband and I first visited Eden Roc last April and had a wonderful stay. When given the opportunity to come back to Miami this year with my husband and son, I couldn t imagine staying anywhere else. I was so excited to come back! We had reserved a loft (3 nights, $3100!!) next to the pool solely for the space and convenience factor that it provided since this time around we had our 2 yo old with us. To make a long story short, the loft was disgusting. It smelled stuffy, it was DIRTY and run down. The carpet was coming up, the walls, furniture, counter tops, shower, etc had all taken a beating. The windows were absolutely filthy. I called the front desk to see if they had another loft available that was in better shape. They didn t, so they offered us an ocean view jr suite which was significantly smaller than the loft. We were bummed because this meant we weren t going to be next to the pool and we were going to have to stuff our son s pack + play in the bathroom. Although we couldn t fathom staying in that gross loft so we opted to be moved. The suite was marginally better. I was so disappointed overall, compared to our stay one year ago, the hotel has really gone down hill. I even googled to see if it s under new management. The entire resort needs a face lift. It looks tired, the cleanliness is certainly not in par with what you pay, they re understaffed, at the pool at least, and I m sad to say I won t ever be back. It did not meet our expectations whatsoever. I cannot justify paying over a grand a night to stay at a dirty run down resort.

While the spa and property are beautiful. I have to say the valet ruined my experience at Eden Roc. It appears they are very short staffed and have a dismissive rude way of dealing with patrons who inquire how long the wait is. While waiting for your car is inevitable, if the wait exceeds 20 minutes advanced notice should be given so that as a customer you can make the choice to sit inside for a bit. I was deeply disappointed that such a lovely hotel ended my experience in such a negative way.

We came to Eden roc for a mother daughter girls trip. We had some issues with our rooms at first but they did a great job making it all right. The servers by the pool are amazing. Hector was wonderful and took care of all of our needs. Be sure and request him on your stay.

Fairly affordable considering the location. Overall a great stay. Only real problem was every morning I asked for regular coffee/espresso pods and they would only leave me decaf. Seemed like they did it on purpose. In a way I respect the tenacity but I wanted my regular haha

I wrote a list of issues to the general manager of the hotel related to lack of maintenance. The most frightening one the maintenance certifications of the elevators, all expired. The day after people got stuck in one. Manager did not even took the trouble to answer. Avoid this place

Our overall experience was very disappointing!

Our overall experience was very disappointing!

After a 5 hour drive, we arrived nearly at 4:00pm, which is check-in time. We were checked in by a very unfriendly girl (who clearly needs to find a new profession outside of hospitality). Since this was a special trip, we booked the very expensive one bedroom suite oceanfront room. Unfortunately, the room was not ready, but she stated it would only be 20 30 minutes. Since my wife was not feeling well and needed food, we decided to find a place to have a quick snack; unfortunately no such place exists, as we were in between food services at the bar, local and NOBU dining locations.

Since the hotel mists in heavy fragrance throughout, we headed outside and decided to wait. After 30 minutes, we checked and the room still wasn t ready. After noticing our luggage, we were approached by Sherein, a VIP Lifestyle Manager for Eden Roc/NOBU. She asked if all was OK, and we explained our issue. She promptly followed up with the desk, called me, and indicated housekeeping was behind. She was very nice, and had the NOBU kitchen make up some fantastic RAMEN noodles and crispy chicken for my wife, delivered it to us and took care of the bill. She also said she d add a $100 credit upon checkout. Finally, around 5:30pm we headed to our room. Unfortunately, the bad taste of the front desk clerk still lingered.

The room was very nice, spacious, clean, newly furnished and comfortable. The view from the 16th floor overlooking the Atlantic Beach and pool below was calming. Unfortunately, the hotel plays thumping techno, head smashing music all afternoon, so our plan of spending time on the balcony and in the room relaxing and listening to the waves was sadly and frustratingly lost. This music was so loud it easily penetrated the hurricane glass sliders. Furthermore, the heavy fragrance piped throughout the hotel also makes its way into the room way to strong and borderline nauseous.

A few little things like no ice in the ice machine, the TV remote didn t turn on one of the TVs, the on demand video bill was unavailable, and we never got maid service over the two day stay. We did receive a hanger on the door that someone tried to service the room at 5pm, but we never heard them. Consequently, we got no new towels, soaps, coffee, and water.

Speaking of water, the mini-bar is filled with various items, including FIJI water. The FIJI water is also provided on top of the mini bar. The price list had no mention of charging for water, so we enjoyed a FIJI water. Upon checkout, the same girl that checked us in (seriously bad attitude again) charged us $8. Only after I showed her the price list from the room did she remove the water charge (good thing I brought it down when checking out). She then made a snide comment about the already issued credit by Sherein. It felt very nickel and dime.

It s hard to deliver on a quality hospitality promise, and Sherein tried to make it right, but the overall experience was already ruined. Apparently, the property is too big and iconic to actually manage it operationally. Or maybe they simply don t empower and invest to train employees. Whatever the reason, the amount of money charged and the experience delivered was a major disconnect. We re going to contact them to address the issues and hope for a further discount, but having to fight your way to an enjoyable vacation with a resort property simply takes away from any enjoyment.

On a positive note, upon leaving, our car valet (Andy) sensed our stay didn t deliver and took it upon himself to bring us a water and wish us a safe trip home! Kudos to him for trying to leave a lasting impression of the Eden Roc, maybe he should be promoted to the front desk!!!!!!!

You probably can stay at another location for less money and better service!

If you re looking for excellent service, stunning views, unforgettable smells, yes I said smells, this place checks all the boxes. We reserved our room directly over the phone with the hotel and received a better rate than any website was offering. Our ocean front, not ocean facing, junior suite rocked! Minimalist decor, comfy king size bed and delicious views wooed us into staycation mode in seconds. Furthermore, when we arrived our room wasn t ready at 4 pm as promised and David the manager gave us free valet and 100 dollar credit towards our bill! David and his staff were super attentive to detail and went out of their way to make sure our stay met all the Eden Roc standards. This is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, yet trendy vibe only a 10 dollar Uber from Lincoln road. My only criticism is that the air conditioning would not drop below 76 even though we had it set on cool, 66 degrees and fan on level 3. We slept naked and embodied the natural feel! Welcome to Miami Beach!

I'm just now realizing I gave Eden Roc 1 star a year ago:( That DEFINITELY was in error. My apologies. Hubby and I stayed here for our 2nd year Anniversay and it was AMAZING! Friendly and attentive staff, great food/drinks, and breathtaking views! We recieved a couples massage( Shout out to Jen! I love you) chilled poolside, and soaked up the sun on the beach. We WILL be back. Thanks Eden Roc for making our Anniversay stay a memorable one

Cafe food was sub par and overpriced, no for soaking. Would NOT EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY CHOSE ELSE WHERE.

Each and every time we stay in Miami, it really feels like home. Great service, great environment. Everyone is friendly, from the car valet, to the very professional men and women at the Nobu breakfast, to our friend James at the concierge. The new rooms are really fresh and modern. It s a great place to stay!

I was 1 day I take the image of a modern, new hotel very well located in Miami Beach. The room is divine, with an incredible view towards the sea. The breakfast very complete. On the other hand, I was very disappointed with the beach service. Our girl disappeared, the other waiters did not attend us, and it took us 45 minutes to order our lunch: 1 lemonade and 2 hamburgers, one of which I was offered to add Portobello that was only offered in the vegetarian version. It turns out that the order took 70 minutes to arrive, but they had forgotten the drink. After claiming it, they took another 20 minutes to bring it ... and not only that ... but they brought another drink different from the one we ordered. At that point we had finished eating without a drink and decided to cancel it. The auction of the story was when the ticket arrived and we saw that we were charged 12 dollars + additional tax for 1 portobello added, taking into account that the hambuerguesa cost 18. Beyond the small scam, I highlight the poor service received

We stayed at Eden Roc Resort in Miami Florida for three days on vacation. February 8,9, and 10th of 2019. The rooms were clean, Jazz was really nice, atmosphere was soothing and relaxing. So relaxing I had a hard time getting family out of those comfortable beds. Thank you Eden Roc. You Rock!

This hotel has a lot of work to do. I stayed here for a conference and the bathroom had only one hook. As a result towels and clothing have no place to hang. The cleaning of the room and the floor hallway was below standard. Glasses and food stayed in the hallways for hours. The room was not not given a thorough cleaning with surfaces still dusty. The line at the front desk is inefficient with confusion because it s not clear where to lineup. One morning I used the gym and there was no bottled water or filtered water. It s the only hotel I ve stayed at where that s ever happened. Also, the hotel room only had one garbage bin and that was in the bathroom. Trash from the main room had to be taken to the bathroom. On the positive side the hotel grounds and pool area are well kept although they re trying too hard with the loud DJ music in the middle of the day. A high point is the outdoor Malibu Farm restaurant which has an excellent menu with locally sourced ingredients.
