This hotel doesnt even deserve one star after my recent experience with them. Many months ago, I booked a trip for me and my family to Miami. We chose to stay at this hotel and I will forever regret that decision. I was reminded when I saw a nearly $400 charge on my credit card bill of the two reservations I had at this hotel. When we purchased our airline tickets AA rebook me due to the pandemic and the recent travel restrictions. When FL was put on the "hot list" we decided not to risk and cancelled the trip. I thought I cancelled everything but now know I failed to cancel second reservation that was hanging out there. I immediately contacted the reservation dept. I had the pleasure of speaking with Nichol who was so evasive and heartless despite my begging and pleading to have my money refunded. I mean...how unfair to take advantage of someone during these times let alone demand I travel to your infected state simply to use a credit with your hotel!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT EDEN ROC. EVER! I want my money back and you have not heard the last from me. I even asked if I could use the credit at any Marriott. Thinking I could use the credit for a stay'cation in my home state...but noooo! Mr. Nichol just skipped right over that question. But I am not surprised!! Marriott should not affiliate with these crooks. I am so disappointed that I might not stay at any of their location ever again!

Be very wary. The location is great, the pools are great but service is awful, pools close at 8pm, they are very discriminating if they perceive you are not a big spender and when we stayed there was an event and tons of outside people that consumed every pool chair and square foot of pool space. Very disorganized and staff were overwhelmed. Not what I was looking for in a quick weekend vacation.

The restaurant at this hotel blew my mind. We were staying nearby and thought the restaurant looked nice from the board walk. So we get to the check in station, and no one is there but the sign says to wait to be seated so we wait a few minutes. Then a woman walks up, no "hi" or smile and just says "how many?". She seats us. Then our waiter comes up and says "are you staying at the hotel?" I said no. She then says "ok" and turns around to the next table and starts serving them. Then comes back to us after taking care of other tables. I had very limited drink options, the help was rude which wouldn't be so bad if they weren't charging $20 for a burger. We ended up spending $50 for a burger and salad. Which again I don't mind if the service is good. I then asked for the check, it never came. I asked again, still nothing. Finally on the third time she brought it. I am not kidding when I say we weren't smiled at a SINGLE time by the staff member.

The service at Eden Roc was phenomenal!! This was my second time staying at this hotel and I was even more impressed with everything ( especially during covid) from the room/ hotel cleanliness, the staff and amenities. Carlos ( front desk supervisor) was very helpful during our stay and made sure my boyfriend and I were well taken care of.

I went here with my family for the long weekend and really enjoyed it. You get a great value for your money compared to some of the pricier hotels a little further south. It's a beautiful hotel with a great beach and great service. I think the hotel is the perfect size - a medium hotel that is cozy and not too busy but also big enough in that it's a full service hotel with plenty of amenities.
I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to south beach, but removed just enough to have a relaxing time away from the main hustle and bustle. A good option for families.
The only part I wasn't thrilled with is that part of the hotel is directly adjacent to the back of one of the buildings of the Fontainebleu next door - not very attractive. It's not a big deal though and is probably part of the reason for their more reasonable rates.

Rented here for a birthday "Stay-cation" and had the best time! Not only did we have the best view ocean side, the room was awesome and the bed was SO comfortable. The bathtub also had sliding doors with views into the room. Room service was spectacular and overall experience was at the hotel was exceptional.

Great and clean room. Very nice and helpful staff. 3 beautiful pools and its right off the beach. The only negative i would say is that the windows to our room wasn't clean so although we had a view of the ocean we couldn't really see it.

Overall good experience. But could be a better experience for the money they charge. Go early to the pool, otherwise the chairs in the sun will be all taken. Mid Beach is a bit away from all the action, which is at South Beach. But resort supposed to have free bikes, which turned out to be free for only an hour, which turned out to be "under maintenance". And the free beach chairs had an asterisk too (free for 2 guests only, even though we were 4 in a room).

Fantastic hotel. spectacular lobby, very comfortable and upscale rooms. You feel like you're walking into Pack Rat history in this place. Check the art in the lobby, it's great. Excellent bar scene at night. Three pools with poolside service. The pools could be updated a little, IMO, but they were comfy- if not crowded- for hot July days.

My wife, child, and I stayed at the Eden ROC in April 2014. The hotel was nice with four pools and easy access to the beach. All of this was fine and competitive with other hotels. What made our stay extraordinary was the customer service. We ordered some fruit to our room and it was not very fresh so we sent it back, twice. Instead of simply sending another plate up a third time, they delivered a complete variety of fresh fruit and removed everything from our bill. In today's world of profit over service it was refreshing to find the Eden ROC still does it right.

This is the first google review Ive ever written, I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience at this hotel. My family and I were charged for drinks at the beach which we never even ordered, our bill simply had items on it which the waitress entered. Also Saturday I rented a cabana beach bed for 85$ and on Sunday they tried to charge us $250 for the same cabana bed. After questioning why it would be so much more than the previous day they quickly said they would just charge us a $100.

Place looks dated as it tries to bank on its former glory. Drinks were overpriced but properly mixed. Ambiance could be improved with a more updated decor. It was worth checking it out though!

My wife and I never got to go too the Eden Roc at Miami Beach due to the Pandemic. But the Eden Roc charged my credit card anyway for a reservation that I tried to cancel with them. They told me I had to call Expedia, who I could not get in touch with for weeks because they were so busy. Besides this horrible Pandemic, in the midst of everything my wife's father passed away. They are horrible people for charging my credit card under the circumstances. I really do see that it's probably a nice place to stay, but I wont be staying there when this is all over and, all please beware of this when you book with the Eden Roc Hotel or Expedia. Every one else I was booked with in the Miami area like the Versace Mansion, car rental, airline cancelled and refunded my money c completely.
