The service department is very shady. I had a check engine light come on, and took my vehicle in for a diagnosis. They told me I needed a new transmission, to the tune of $5,000. The vehicle drove fine and had no shifting issues. I drove it off the lot and took it to another mechanic for another opinion. Afterward I purchased my own obd2 scan tool and ran my own diagnostics. Based from my findings, I changed the transmission fluid, the the problem ceased, and the light has not come back on. When I picked up my vehicle from the dealer, there were between 5-10 mechanics standing around doing nothing. Makes you wonder if the service advisors are trying to give their mechanics some "extra" work to keep them busy. I learned a $120 lesson to not give the dealership three days to diagnose my car and make up some bogus issues that are nonexistent. Heck, it took them 20 minutes with three different employees to find my vehicle on their lot. Very disorganized! You have been warned!
