I cannot tell you how refreshing this church truly is. I had a close friend bring me here and home is where I AM. There is a vibration of truness that rings here like no other church. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Dr Roger Teel and staff.
P.s. If you are a homebody or disabled they are online for services as well.

LORD
If -I AM- truly created in your image, I know you are within me. With you within there is no more fear, no more pain, there is only love, only joy.
Lord thank you that -I AM-

Mile Hi Church is by far my most favorite church ever. I have attended others and usually the larger sized churches, but this one is exceptional. They accept all people and don't try to guilt you into feeling like you are bad and now must correct yourself. It is what God wants you to feel...loved. The best word to describe all experiences here are with love. You are perfect as you are so come glorify what God has done for us, together. PS. You will crave hearing Cynthia James speak, she's amazing!!

UPDATE - they have reached out in response to this review and stated that the people who hounded me that have a Church Email address to SIGN up - HURRY its going to sell out - Don't work for the EVENT and that they are a 3rd party and SORRY you are SOL!! It is with Sadness that I write this. My husband I loved coming to this church very briefly and Cynthia James Meditation weekend provided me w/ a huge breakthrough in my life - thank you Cynthia. We enjoyed Dr. Teal's Heart Messages and enjoyed the services. With enthusiasm we signed up for the Montana Big Sky Retreat and spent over $800. Sadly we found out not even two weeks later we were moving to florida (job transfer) and I KID YOU NOT they refused to refund all our money. They kept $100. We are moving to Florida. I am realizing this place is all about taking your money. This is not like other churches that would gladly refund it. They seem really out of touch with what is right and only care about taking your $$. I am truly sad. I can not recommend this church - WATCH your Wallet. I have begged them to let us USE the $100 for another local retreat (men's) and they refused. SERIOUSLY! LAME!

I have visited this church a few times now and I feel really good about it. I am a spiritual person but was afraid at first since I hadn't been to my traditional church in years. At my age I was tired of feeling inadequate and the need to "get right with God" so I never subjected my children to the condemning, judgmental place that I had grown up in. I've always wanted to learn more and practice more and be better than what I am. I believe that this place is what will bring me back to the beginning of a journey I have been waiting to travel with new eyes.

OMG what can i saw about Mile Hi Church othetr than this is a place of love, joy and connection. I have been a member more than 17 years and call MHC my home. While I love Sunday services (I often watch online) the classes and special events are where everything comes together. It truly is different here.

I found this church online about a year ago. I've attended a CSL church in my neck of the woods for about two years but didn't feel as fulfilled and didn't learn as much as I have here at the church I attended.

I felt like I was part of this church and like I was really home all whilst sitting on my couch and watching the live or recorded broadcast.

Finally, a place that teaches you not only how to live the love of God but how to incorporate it into your own existence and assimilate as we were meant to be.

One day I will visit it in person but for now, THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET!

Do watch...you'll be glad you did! FINALLY THE BEST NON-RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUALLY BASED TEACHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE this church. I found it difficult to stay and get connected because there were few young people (20-40) or events/groups associated with them with which to get involved.
The music, while wonderful, is also not super contemporary and doesn't have the more worshipful vibe I was hoping for, which is just personal preference. Messages are incredible and uplifting and there is a huge prayer team and awesome guest speaks and events. So I highly recommend you check it out!

Supported here since I was a babe in the womb, I am so grateful to have learned to be a responsible & respectful adult who is saying "YES!" in service to God in all ways I'm called to; especially now with my own little one in my womb! Full circle & spiraling with the support of the divine in all I do, I couldn't feel more grateful!

Don't be put off by the unusual name-attend one of the services and you will find a new home. You will not find hail, fire and brimstone here, but you will find a sincere spiritual community that embraces diversity and challenges us to grow and to enjoy the very best life can provide. This church teaches us how to be better humans, how to be happier, how to change our circumstances if we desire to and how to be happy in the meantime. This place is all about love, acceptance, joy and getting to know the divine in a personal and exceptional way. Their youth ministry is truly life altering without being scary. What's scary about acceptance and teaching our kids to be empowered? Love it here.

Best church ever. For years I've avoided Church because of religion. I'm a deeply spiritual person and have always wondered why I couldn't find a congregation that vibes with my beliefs. Well I found it. It's Mile Hi Church.

The first day I attended a service there, I was treated like a "welcomed guest." That superficial appeal quickly wore off by the second visit. Before my second visit, I had an accident where my left ring finger was in a splint. That same usher who gave me a flower when I raised my hand as a visitor, asked me in a suspicious, condisending voice... "Oh, what happened to your hand?" As if I was a thug street fighter.
What also turned me off was the pastor. When talking about some recent shooting incidents, he called the Va. Tech shooter a "deranged lunatic." How loving is that?
Couple all that with the "your either for us or against us" mentality, and I have no intention of returning. This is just another church as far as I am concerned.

I've been attending since I was 6, during the Fred Vogt years and prior to the new sanctuary building and expansion. I'm not one to push religion on others, but this is a place you owe yourself to attend at least once. Put simply, it's a way of life, of seeing the connected thread through all faiths and doctrines boiled down to the simple truths of goodness, peace and prosperity for all. Welcoming to all, Mile Hi Church is a place that empowers you to be the you that's meant to be. Go one Sunday then treat yourself to a cappuccino for at least trying it out. :-)

Greetings from Malaysia to the wonderful congregation of Mile Hi Church. My name is Sukdev SIngh. The video of what you all did to welcome the Sikh community to your church has practically gone viral in the Sikh community worldwide. To Rev. Shannon O'Hurley, on behalf of the SIkhs here, I want to thank you for this beautiful bridge you have built. Just that there are no words to do so. It is an event we shall all hold close to our hearts. One day, I hope to visit your beautiful church, and pray with you. God bless you all. Satnam.

Like the premise of this church but it sometimes feels like a very large community / not personable. Great message, love the online services too but you need to volunteer/put the effort in to fully engage with the church community.

Enjoyed the beyond basics class I took. Sessions were a little too long but great knowledge sharing.

About Mile Hi Church

Mile Hi Church: A Spiritual Community Embracing You with Loving Acceptance

Mile Hi Church is a spiritual community that has been serving the Denver area for over 60 years. The church's mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can come together to explore their spirituality, connect with others, and make a positive impact in the world.

At Mile Hi Church, you will find a diverse group of individuals who share a common goal of personal growth and spiritual development. The church welcomes people from all walks of life, regardless of their background or beliefs. Whether you are new to spirituality or have been on your journey for years, Mile Hi Church offers something for everyone.

One of the things that sets Mile Hi Church apart from other spiritual communities is its emphasis on practical spirituality. The church believes that spirituality should not just be an abstract concept but something that can be applied in everyday life. Through its teachings and programs, Mile Hi Church provides individuals with the tools they need to access the Power Within and make a difference in their lives and in the world around them.

The church offers a wide range of programs and services designed to support individuals on their spiritual journey. These include Sunday services, classes, workshops, retreats, prayer groups, meditation sessions, and more. Each program is designed to help individuals deepen their understanding of themselves and their connection to something greater than themselves.

One unique aspect of Mile Hi Church is its focus on music as an integral part of worship. The church has an award-winning music program that includes choirs, bands, soloists, and instrumentalists who perform during Sunday services as well as special events throughout the year.

In addition to its regular programs and services, Mile Hi Church also hosts several annual events that bring together members of the community for fellowship and celebration. These include Easter Sunday service at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (one of Colorado's most iconic venues), Christmas Eve candlelight service at Boettcher Concert Hall (home to one of Denver's premier orchestras), New Year's Eve Burning Bowl ceremony (a symbolic release ceremony), among others.

Mile Hi Church also has several outreach programs designed to serve those in need within the local community as well as globally through partnerships with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity International or Heifer International which helps families lift themselves out poverty by providing livestock animals like cows or goats which produce milk or woolen products respectively so they can sell them locally thus earning income while improving nutrition levels too!

Overall,Mile hi church provides an inclusive environment where people can come together regardless if they are religiously affiliated or not.Their focus on practical spirituality makes it easy for anyone looking into exploring this path without feeling overwhelmed by abstract concepts.Their outreach programs show how much they care about making positive changes both locally & globally. So if you're looking for somewhere welcoming & accepting then look no further than mile hi church!
