Interfaith Ministries of Denton, Inc. Review

You'd think this ministry would want to help people. They talk to you as if you're going to take organs from them. They ask TOOK much of your business and they don't even want to help one. Do NOT call this business!!! No hable con este servicio. Te hablan con mal actitud y ni te ayudan. Son gente metiches.

This is not the place to seek emergency funding for anything. Their grants are very small and the chance at getting assistance is practically nil.

In their advertising, they claim that they help with rent. However, the woman at the front desk said they couldn't help me with rent or deposits to get into an apartment.

Donations go strickly to the clients and agency. Friendly staff and great contribution to the community.

Very poor service I called needing immediate assistance with rent showed the receptionist my eviction notice I had 3 days to vacate my apartment no help but some lady called me back saying well unfortunately we might not have funds I will get back with you as soon as I hear something never got back with me that goes to show you not even so called ministries that are suppose to be believers of God help I have 2 children as well and they never showed any compassion never got back with me to refer me to any other help she was very rude and no sympathy at all so this is not a place I would refer anyone to

This place is not helpful, they do not listen. It's like they do not want to help you and have the funds to do so!

I was in the process of losing my eye and these people never called me back. I went in asking for help because with my condition I could not work anymore and was placed on disability. They took my application and never responded to any of my calls or messages. They are not caring people at all. I needed help with compound prescriptions that could have saved my eye and they could care less. My entire eye was white and blinded noticeably so you knew I wasn't making it up. I had all my documents proving my case and to this day no one from this organization has even bothered to check up on me to see if I needed help of any sort. My thoughts about it is that they are bias. I will keep the other thoughts to myself because that would just be rude. I'm looking into exposing people like this that are using contributions for the likes of themselves and favorites. If you are in need and of black race please don't bother because they will let you die, suffer, be evicted and any other tragedy you encounter alone. I pray they get better.

I've gone 3 times in the past year. No matter how terrible someones situation is. They NEVER have funding available. I lost my job a couple weeks ago & was told again today-NO FUNDING AVAILABLE.

I called this place because I was directed to them by health and human services...I was pregnant, I didn t have any help, and I didn t know how I was going to pay my rent. I had late notices so I called them...the lady was very rude and condescending I was taken aback because I thought this was a church and even if they weren t we are all still humans that struggle...she made me feel worthless,embarrassed and a nuisance. Luckily someone else blessed me and was able to help me because they didn t want to help me I wouldve been 8 months pregnant and homeless I can t express enough how dismissive and rude these people were I wish I could give 0 stars
