Review of Hotel La Ville

I think 5 star hotels in todays times are underrat...

I think 5 star hotels in todays times are underrated. Especially newly built ones.

First and foremost the service at reception was excellent. Conscience was very kind and helpful and identified us as Platinum members and treated as such.

Got to the room and this room was mind blowing. It even has a huge TV which I always expect from fancy hotels.

Ordered room service and the soups were just too tasty,so good like as if I haven't eaten food for days (shame on you Italy).

Put on the TV and got to browse through so many "english" channels in SUHD quality (hint hint Palazzo Naiadi).

Got out of the hotel and theres the City Walk with much entertainment and restaurants makes this place a must return with my kids.

Dubai is just getting (more) fancier, entertaining , relaxing, enjoyable every time I'm here.

Last but not least, I regard this hotel as 5 star but I only gave 4 star rating ? Well , cleanliness is very important to me and I find they can do better with cleaner dishes & sofas .

Another star lost here is the poor service from the breakfast restaurant Chival. So slow! 2 fried eggs take over 15 minutes to prepare. This is ridiculous. 1st day was a bit busy I can understand but my last day was quiet. insult to injury, they over fried my eggs even after telling them how I want it. No excuses here ...due to this i will try other hotels before I return to this one.
