Good solid hotel. Nothing fancy, everything in pretty good shape. Breakfast is good in a generic way. Perhaps I've been on too many business trips here :) The fourth star is for a very comfy bed, friendly staff, and the 300 calorie cookie on arrival.

-Del Mar Highlands mall nearby has great restaurants.
-Del Mar itself is nearby.
-Nice 2 mile jogging loop via the bike trail nearby.
