I've been a long time customer of this business for years and up until my most recent visit I've been very pleased with the serviceand the employees . Unfortunately during my last visit my dog's leg was injured and when I contacted Brian about it the next day we had a conversation about it and he asked me if it would be okay for him to do some research about it and that he would call me back afterwards. Our conversation was cordial and polite as I've become accustomed to from this business and it's employees and entirely expected to be treated with care and respect moving forward . To my dismay Brian never called me back that day or anytime after that . I wish that I would have inspected my dog before leaving the store because not only was his leg injured but also has a cut in his left ear about an inch and a half long . To be honest I might not have noticed it because the scab didn't harden over til the next couple of days . Normally I'm charged 48 dollars for the service and I tip the staff at the time of pickup , but for some unknown reason I was charged an additional 15 dollars which I paid prior to pickup . When the young lady called to inform me that he was completed she said she thought he had a urinary infection because of the way he reacted to having his hair cut in that area . Now I truly believe that was a remark in order to cover the injuries he endured . I'm extremely disappointed with Brian for not responding to this situation especially after stating that he would . I never expected this type of treatment from Brian as he seems like a nice man but sadly he falls into the norm of the times , people who won't own up to their mistakes and attempt to remedy the situation through good customer service . I'm sorry to say but they've lost a customer and I will certainly advise all the other customers that I referred here . I expected better from you Brian , especially with all the good reviews posted and my years of patronizing your store . True customer service is easy when everything is going well , but it is nothing if you don't stand up like a man when things aren't going well and look for some form of remedies to ensure good customer experiences each and every time . I'm sorry to be so frank , but I feel like a real gentleman would have at minimum returned the call . My mistake for expecting to be treated like a valued customer . What I should have done was take my dog back in the following day and raised a fuss so other customers could witness the condition of my dog . Sadly this is my best recourse now short of a lawsuit to cover the costs for veterinary care and the pain my dog is forced to endure .
