Mother's Brewing Company Review

I've been to micros all over the country. I've stood in line six hours for Pliny-the-Younger at Russian River in Sonoma, flighted every single selection of Revolution Brewery in Chicago, Lost Forty in Little rock, Druther's in Saratoga, Dust Bowl in Modesto...Mother's stands tall with the best of them. Most mircos have one, maybe two-three stand out favs, Mother's hits it out of the park repeatedly. All their selections are worthy of kudos, but their Sunshine Chugsuckle IPA is nectar of the Gods! Springfield is blessed with being home to Mother's, we don't deserve them.

Great cider and wonderful staff. I'm not a beer drinker normally but I tasted some of their beers that my friends had and they were really good. That being said I loved the cider they had on tap there and would certainly go back again and again to have more of it. Always having events during the summer. Didn't go enough before we moved.

I've never been to a brewery before that had enough Stouts on tap to make a whole flight. And the price was only $10 for the flight. I loved the huge field behind the brewery that was set up with picnic tables and chairs for visitors. My wife and I brought food from the Wheelhouse and ate dinner while we enjoyed our flight.

Mother's is an amazing place. Great beer and you can taste before you buy. A cute court yard for drinking with friends. Board games, you can't beat it.

I enjoy 3 Blind Mice and Winter Grind in Kansas City so took the opportunity to stop at the brewery. Kaitlyn was informative and offered several samples. I had an Irish Stout on nitro and black beer both tasty. Pointed me to Tie and Timber...another review in the works. Will stop if in Springfield again.

Love this place! Delicious beer and the staff are kick ass! I've been coming here for couple years and never had a bad experience.

Brewery run with a buddy in Springfield; Mothers definitely was one to visit.
Lots of tap room brews that I ve not seen at home. We each grabbed 4 beers, and what I tried I enjoyed a lot.
Place was busy on a Saturday, though ample room indoor and out.
A small food truck was set up on the lawn (gyros if I m thinking correctly). Perfect weather to enjoy some well crafted brews.

Excellent brewery. Outstanding customer service - helpful, understanding bartenders and staff. I like Springfield, MO, and I remain a fan of what Mother s has, and continues, to offer. This is a must visit on your travels. Cheers.

Great brewery. Moved away from SGF and still miss the festivals Mother's threw. Great times and great beer.

I ve never been to the establishment but will go one day because i love all the beers I have tried from here! Before it was available in St. Louis, I gave them a call and they were so friendly and helpful. Can t wait to experience the brewery first hand!

So I wandered in on a day where there was some type of festival. That didn't stop the bartenders explaining their beers and providing samplers. Everything I had was delicious, strongly recommended.

The beer is amazing, the personnel is amazing and the outdoor seating is exquisite! If you re looking for a place to relax while drinking amazing beer, this is it!

This is a fantastic local brewery. The tasting room has a great selection of their beers, a friendly staff, and terrific atmosphere. On Saturdays you can take free brewery tours that are a great time. You can pick up their year round beers and seasonal selections in most local stores, but why not swing by to try something unique or your favorites on tap?

This is my favorite brewery. All of the beers are great. My current favorite beer is the Sunshine Chugsuckle. Its a midwest style IPA without the bitterness that most IPA's have. You can't go wrong with the 3 Blind Mice, which is a very solid brown ale. Cobra Scare is also very good. The people are great. They have live music, and other events here on the lawn regularly when the weather is good. Hands down a must experience here. Thanks for the great time.

Mother's is cool. They have a great taproom with a perfect view of the brewing and bottling operations. Lots of beers on tap you can't buy in stores

Delicious beer, great servers, and wonderful atmosphere.

Great place to relax with a beer or two. Plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice, and plenty of room indoors as well. Always have some interesting beer on tap, from light and refreshing to big barrel-aged. Keep an eye out for their special events - movie nights, trivia, festivals, bocce ball leagues - or just have fun with some board games.

Great beer, great atmosphere, great people. What more do you need to know? Just go and have a great time!

Visiting Springfield. Stopped by to have a beer. Friendly staff and locals. Really liked the beer and the awesome outdoor space. If you're in Springfield stop by. You won't be disappointed.

I've been drinking Mother's since the beginning. The beer has changed a little over the years but it's always been excellent. Please don't ever stop making Cobra Scare, I might die!!!

Saturday afternoons busy because of brewery tours and taster flights.

We used to go to Mother s all the time for a beer and to sit outside. We loved their beer and the friendly relaxed atmosphere.
But we went last night and found that Mother s has gone CORONA PSYCHO. The fear there is palpable. Gone is the friendly relaxation. Left is sign in for contact tracing put on your mask let me spray your debit card with sanitizer don t move the tables don t have a crowd in other words BE AFRAID . It was awful. We didn t even go inside this was all outside in the fresh air!
The person at the so-called sign in table was not there to greet us and be friendly, he was there to assure we gave him our contact information and put on a mask. No Welcome to Mothers! We re glad to have you here. We will not return.

When craft beer cities come to mind, there are a few places that dominate. Visiting one of these cities can be great fun for craft beer fans seeking new beer drinking adventures, but one must remember that other, lesser- known cities also have their fair share of excellent craft beer and one of them is Springfield, Missouri. And the brewery that is easily the largest and most popular in this town is Mother s Brewing.

I first tried beer from Mother s Brewing about ten years ago but, living in Texas now, I had not visited the brewery. A family vacation to Branson provided me with the opportunity I was hoping for. I decided to contact a friend who lives in the area and he guided me around to different breweries, starting with Mother s Brewing.

This brewery has a large outdoor space and from what I understand, they host several outdoor events each year. With this much land, Mother s Brewing can do things that the average brewery cannot do and this is definitely an advantage. Even when there is no event taking place, they still have outdoor space for sitting and drinking with friends and it is common to find food trucks on site for a quick bite to eat.

I didn t spend any time outside. I made my way directly to the tasting room where I was greeted by the main bar and about 15 to 20 different beers. I have already tried several Mother s Brewing products, like Nudie Suit, Three Blind Mice, and others. I started off with one of these familiar beers, then sampled a few of the limited release offerings. When you visit, I recommend trying at least one of the limited release beers, as there are several incredible options. And since you cannot find most of these limited releases elsewhere, getting them from the brewery is your only chance so be sure to take advantage.

Mother s Brewing offers a few tours each Saturday and they are family- friendly. Anyone can enter the brewery and tasting area, you only need to be 21 and up to drink the beer. I like the laid back atmosphere, the knowledgeable personnel, and the steel bar with the large Mother s Brewing logo. I can see why this brewery is so popular among locals. I would hang out here all the time if I lived in the area.

Springfield, Missouri isn t known for its craft beer prowess, but there are several noteworthy places to kick back with a cold one. Mother s Brewing is one such place and I recommend a visit for anyone who loves fine craft beer.

Happenin tap room. Beers are great. Tried the Manhattan ITBM tonight. Very impressed. Great fireplace beer.

One of the quality beer companies in the United States. I previously lived in Europe and when I tried Mothers beers they truly embodied the best standards and quality of beers in any country

Google should have 6 stars for places like this. I m visiting from out of state and love craft beer, and this is a cant miss. Pray that you re in Springfield when the taproom is open. Try something you ve never had before.

Definitely in top 2 or 3 breweries on town as far as beer variety and flavor/quality. Great outdoor space, particularly for in the summer.

It may not be Springfield's first brewery, but it is Springfield's best. If you are looking for a laid back place to enjoy a quality beer, make sure you stop by Mother's. Check out their special events such as the Mother's Day Festival and movies on the lawn.

Selling brewery only releases like Foggy Notion that they know was trash. And that's not the only time. Stop screwing over your loyal customer for money. You're losing your following very quickly.

Great outdoor experience and a variety of beer choices.

No ordinary brewery, MOTHER'S is all about love. A love of good craft brews is apparent in all their regular staples, and they have a long list of consistently delicious rotating beers available in the brewery tasting room, which calls a re-purposed bread factory home.

Mother's also has a deep love and connection with the community. Their large backyard area is a great place where all are welcome (pets included!) to come and enjoy the grass and open space. During the warmer months, the backyard serves as a perfect setting for multiple events including Mother's Day, Oktoberfests, musical performances, and more. They show movies on a big inflatable screen, and sometimes food trucks can be found waiting to serve up something that will go perfectly with that Tow-Head or Little Helper!

Several friends and I went through the tour and tasting room. Had a great time! Kyle was very informative and entertaining! I highly recommend the tour to anyone, beer drinker or not!

Best place for dog owners and beer lovers. Our nickname for this wonderful place is the alcoholic dog park. Beer tours are super fun and all the people are super friendly and fun. They always have something going on in their yard, music, yoga and lots of others.

Huge back area for those who want to share a few beers with friends while also respecting social distancing, great beer selection, and awesome staff to boot!

This is another awesome Springfield brewery. They are a little more adventurous in their beer flavors and I'm a traditional wheat beer kind of guy.

Nice area to sit with indoor and outdoor. Servers are upbeat and fun! The free beer tour is also a great time.
