I had to have my mother transported to the ED Forsyth for a kidney stone, via Stokes County EMS. The service was acceptable, and the staff were kind to me and my family, for the most part. There was one hiccup where my mother's nurse got an attitude with her when she was paged an umpteenth time (I don't remember how many times she had actually gone) to come unhook my mother's IV so that she could go to the restroom. I tried to rationalize the nurse's attitude in my head, but I just couldn't. It was excessive, especially for the situation. I conversated with my mother about the visit after she was discharged that night, and she agreed that the attitude was quite a bit less than necessary. I am not familiar with who it was, and I do not remember the day we visited. I don't have any other complaints, other than the attitude problem we had that visit. I don't feel like one single attitude issue with a single nurse on only one single trip to the ED is a reason to keep us from going back if we ever need to. Will continue to come to Forsyth if any unforseen health issues arise. Overall a positive review.
